Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE) technology is a computer network technology that can map Fibre channels to Ethernet and insert Fibre Channel information into Ethernet packets, i.e., Fibre Channel frames can be encapsulated through the Ethernet network, so that Fibre Channel requests and data exchanged between a server and a storage device can be transmitted in the Ethernet without a special Fibre Channel structure.
