First, please refer to fig. 9 to 13, fig. 9 and 10 are schematic perspective assembly diagrams of a hard disk with encryption and decryption functions according to a second embodiment of the present invention, respectively, and fig. 11 to 13 are schematic perspective exploded diagrams of a hard disk with encryption and decryption functions according to a second embodiment of the present invention, respectively. As can be seen from a comparison between fig. 11 and fig. 3, the largest difference between the second embodiment and the first embodiment is the size of the housing 1, for example, the size of the hard disk U with encryption and decryption functions provided by the second embodiment may be a 3.5-inch hard disk, that is, the size and shape of the housing 1 provided by the second embodiment are different from the size and shape of the housing 1 provided by the first embodiment.
In view of the above, referring back to fig. 9 to 13, a second embodiment provides a hard disk U with encryption and decryption functions, which includes: a shell 1, an encryption/decryption module 2 and a storage module 3. The encryption/decryption module 2 and the storage module 3 can be respectively disposed in the accommodating space 10, so that the encryption/decryption module 2 and the storage module 3 are both disposed in the housing 1 to form a hard disk U with encryption/decryption functions. In addition, the encryption and decryption module 2 may include a first substrate 21, a first connector 22 disposed on the first substrate 21 and coupled to the first substrate 21, and a transmission port 23 disposed on the first substrate 21 and coupled to the first substrate 21, wherein a portion of the transmission port 23 may be exposed outside the accommodating space 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention. Furthermore, the storage module 3 may include a second substrate 31 and a second connector 32 disposed on the second substrate 31 and coupled to the second substrate 31, and the first connector 22 of the encryption/decryption module 2 may be connected to the second connector 32, so that the first substrate 21 and the second substrate 31 are butted against each other, and the first substrate 21 is coupled to the second substrate 31. Therefore, the first substrate 21, the first connector 22, the second connector 32 and the second substrate 31 may all be disposed in the accommodating space 10, and only a part of the transmission port 23 is exposed, so as to utilize the transmission port 23 and the electronic device 4 (see fig. 8, for example, but not limited to, a motherboard of a computer) to perform data transmission. It should be noted that the structures of the housing 1, the encryption/decryption module 2 and the storage module 3 are similar to those of the foregoing embodiments, and are not described herein again.
Next, referring to fig. 14, fig. 14 is a schematic exploded view of a hard disk with only a storage module according to a second embodiment of the present invention. In other embodiments, the encryption/decryption module 2 can be detachably disposed in the first accommodation area 101, so that the encryption/decryption module 2 can be disposed in the first accommodation area 101 or moved out of the first accommodation area 101. When the encryption/decryption module 2 is moved out of the first receiving area 101, the storage module 3 can be disposed in the first receiving area 101 to form a hard disk U' with only storage modules. In other words, when the storage module 3 is disposed in the first receiving area 101, the second connector 32 of the storage module 3 can be exposed, and the second connector 32 can be used for data transmission with the electronic device 4. Therefore, the encryption and decryption module 2 can be selectively arranged, so that the hard disk has the encryption and decryption functions or does not have the encryption and decryption functions.
Furthermore, although the second substrate 31 is illustrated as a solid state Disk in the embodiment of the invention, it should be noted that in other embodiments, the second substrate 31 may also be a 2.5 inch Hard Disk Drive (HDD), and the invention is not limited thereto. Thereby, the 2.5-inch hard disk drive can be packaged in the case 1 of the hard disk U having an encryption/decryption function with a size of 3.5 inches. In other words, the second substrate 31 may be a storage unit, and the storage unit may be a solid-state drive (SSD) specification interface. In addition, in other embodiments, the storage unit may also be a Hard Disk Drive (HDD) interface (not shown), and the invention is not limited to the HDD interface of the second substrate 31.
Advantageous effects of the embodiments
One of the benefits of the present invention is that the hard disk U with encryption and decryption functions and the application system S thereof provided in the embodiment of the present invention can utilize the technical solution that the first connector of the encryption and decryption module is connected to the second connector of the storage module, so that the first substrate is coupled to the second substrate and the technical solution that the first substrate, the first connector and the second connector are connected between the transmission port and the second substrate, thereby having encryption and decryption functions.
Further, since the encryption/decryption module 2 of the present invention can be selectively set, the manufacturer can selectively make the hard disk have the encryption/decryption function or not. Furthermore, since the specification interface of the first connector 22 of the encryption/decryption module 2 may correspond to the specification interface of the second connector 32 of the storage module 3, the hard disk U with encryption/decryption functions and the application system S thereof provided by the embodiment of the present invention may be suitable for hard disks with different specifications and sizes.

Claims (15)

1. A hard disk having an encryption/decryption function, comprising:
the shell comprises an accommodating space;
the encryption and decryption module is arranged in the accommodating space and comprises a first substrate, a first connector arranged on the first substrate and a transmission port arranged on the first substrate, wherein one part of the transmission port is exposed out of the accommodating space; and
a storage module disposed in the accommodating space, the storage module including a second substrate and a second connector disposed on the second substrate, wherein the first connector of the encryption/decryption module is connected to the second connector of the storage module, so that the first substrate is coupled to the second substrate;
wherein the first substrate, the first connector, and the second connector are connected between the transmission port and the second substrate.
2. The hard disk with encryption and decryption functions according to claim 1, wherein the housing includes a first housing and a second housing corresponding to the first housing, and the first housing and the second housing form the accommodating space therebetween.
3. The hard disk with encryption and decryption functions of claim 1, wherein the housing comprises a slot, and a portion of the first connector of the encryption and decryption module and a portion of the second connector of the storage module are exposed out of the accommodating space through the slot.
4. The hard disk with encryption and decryption functions of claim 1, wherein the accommodating space includes a first accommodating area and a second accommodating area, the encryption and decryption module is detachably disposed in the first accommodating area, and the storage module is detachably disposed in the second accommodating area.
5. The hard disk with encryption and decryption functions of claim 4, wherein when the encryption and decryption module is moved out of the first accommodating area, the storage module can be detached from the second accommodating area and installed in the first accommodating area.
6. The hard disk with encryption and decryption functions of claim 1, wherein the accommodating space includes a first accommodating area and a second accommodating area, the encryption and decryption module is detachably disposed in the first accommodating area, and the storage module is detachably disposed in the second accommodating area; the first accommodating area of the casing is provided with a fixing part, the encryption and decryption module comprises a first positioning part corresponding to the fixing part, so that the encryption and decryption module can be arranged on the fixing part through the first positioning part, and the storage module comprises a second positioning part corresponding to the fixing part, so that the storage module can be arranged on the fixing part through the second positioning part.
7. The hard disk with encryption and decryption functions according to claim 1, wherein the transmission port is a connector conforming to SATA, mSATA, PCI-E, NVMe, m.2, ZIF, IDE, U.2, CF, or CFast specification interfaces.
8. The hard disk with encryption and decryption functions of claim 1, wherein the second connector of the storage module is a connector conforming to SATA, mSATA, PCI-E, NVMe, M.2, ZIF, IDE, U.2, CF or CFast specification interface.
9. The hard disk with encryption and decryption functions of claim 1, wherein the hard disk with encryption and decryption functions is a 2.5-inch hard disk or a 3.5-inch hard disk.
10. The hard disk of claim 1, wherein the second substrate is a storage unit, and the storage unit is a solid state drive specification interface or a hard disk drive specification interface.
11. The hard disk with encryption and decryption functions according to claim 1, wherein the first connector and the second connector are pluggable connectors.
12. A system applied to a hard disk with encryption and decryption functions, the system applied to the hard disk with encryption and decryption functions comprising:
the encryption and decryption module comprises a first substrate, a first connector arranged on the first substrate and a transmission port arranged on the first substrate, wherein the encryption and decryption module can receive information to be encrypted and encrypt the information to be encrypted to form encrypted information, and the encryption and decryption module can receive the information to be decrypted and decrypt the information to be decrypted to form decrypted information; and
a storage module, coupled to the encryption and decryption module, the storage module including a second substrate and a second connector disposed on the second substrate, the first connector of the encryption and decryption module being connected to the second connector of the storage module, wherein the storage module is capable of receiving the encrypted information from the encryption and decryption module and transmitting the information to be decrypted to the encryption and decryption module;
wherein the first substrate, the first connector, and the second connector are connected between the transmission port and the second substrate;
wherein the encrypted information encrypted by the encryption/decryption module can be transmitted to the second connector through the first connector and transmitted to the storage module through the second connector;
the information to be decrypted transmitted by the storage module can be transmitted to the first connector through the second connector and transmitted to the encryption and decryption module through the first connector.
13. The system according to claim 12, wherein the system applied to a hard disk with encryption/decryption functions further comprises: an electronic device, coupled to the transmission port of the encryption/decryption module, for transmitting the information to be encrypted to the encryption/decryption module and receiving the decrypted information from the encryption/decryption module.
14. The system of claim 12, wherein the first substrate comprises a control unit and an encryption/decryption unit coupled to the control unit, the encryption/decryption unit being coupled between the transmission port and the first connector; the encryption and decryption unit can receive the information to be encrypted transmitted by the transmission port and encrypt the information to be encrypted to form the encrypted information, and the encryption and decryption unit can transmit the encrypted information to the first connector; the encryption and decryption unit can receive the information to be decrypted transmitted by the first connector and decrypt the information to be decrypted to form the decrypted information, and the encryption and decryption unit can transmit the decrypted information to the transmission port.
15. The system as claimed in claim 12, wherein the transmission port is coupled to the first connector for transmitting a command message to the first connector.
