Technical Field

Background
The Minimization of Drive Test (MDT) technology (Minimization of drive tests) mainly obtains relevant parameters required by network optimization through measurement reports reported by terminals (such as mobile phones) so as to achieve the purpose of reducing the network optimization and maintenance costs of operators.
In the minimization of drive tests, it is possible for the network to configure terminal measurements and report WLAN/BT (wireless local area network/bluetooth) measurements for calculating the terminal (UE) location. The UE receiving the MDT measurement configuration is likely to measure WLAN/BT devices of nearby individual users as well, but these measurements are not useful for calculating UE location, and can increase air interface signaling overhead and occupy MDT storage space in the UE.
In the prior art, in order to avoid that the terminal reports useless measurement results, the network specifies the type of the identifier by specifying a field when issuing the MDT configuration, for example: SSID (Service Set Identifier ), local Name (device Name) and UUID (Universally Unique Identifier, universal unique identification code), etc., instructs the terminal to report only measurement results of a specific WLAN/BT device, thereby avoiding the terminal from measuring and reporting useless measurement results in the MDT process.
However, in some scenarios, there may still be excessive measurement data in the same designated field, resulting in the problem that the overhead of the terminal for storing the measurement result and reporting the measurement data is excessive.
Disclosure of Invention

Referring to fig. 5, fig. 5 is a schematic structural diagram of a network side device according to a seventh embodiment of the present invention, where the network side device 500 includes a processor 501, a memory 502, and a computer program stored in the memory 502 and executable on the processor 501; the processor 501, when executing the computer program, performs the following steps:
transmitting configuration information of the minimization of drive tests to a terminal, wherein the configuration information comprises:
at least one specified identifier type and a reporting upper limit value corresponding to a specified identifier in each specified identifier type, wherein each specified identifier type comprises at least one specified identifier; or alternatively, the process may be performed,
at least one designated identifier and a reporting upper limit value corresponding to each designated identifier.
In the embodiment of the invention, the number of measurement results reported by the terminal is limited by the specified identification type or the specified identification in the configuration information sent to the terminal and the reporting upper limit value corresponding to each specified identification type (each specified identification in the specified identification type corresponds to the reporting upper limit value) or the reporting upper limit value corresponding to each specified identification. That is, the limiting terminal only reports the measurement results corresponding to the specified identifier type or the specified identifier, wherein the number of measurement results corresponding to the specified identifier in the specified identifier type does not exceed the reporting upper limit value corresponding to the specified identifier type, or the number of measurement results corresponding to the specified identifier does not exceed the reporting upper limit value corresponding to the specified identifier. Thereby controlling the number of the measurement results for reporting, and further reducing the terminal storage space occupied by storing the measurement results for reporting and the overhead when reporting the measurement results.
Optionally, the specified identification type includes at least one of: service set identification, device name, and a universally unique identification code.
For details, please refer to the description of the method steps in the first embodiment.
Referring to fig. 6, fig. 6 is a schematic structural diagram of a terminal 600 according to an eighth embodiment of the present invention, where the terminal 600 includes a processor 601, a memory 602, and a computer program stored in the memory 602 and executable on the processor 601; the processor 601, when executing the computer program, performs the following steps:
acquiring a measurement result corresponding to the appointed mark in a measurement time;
selecting a first number of measurement results from the measurement results corresponding to the specified identifiers, wherein the first number does not exceed the reporting upper limit value corresponding to the specified identifiers;
and reporting the first number of measurement results.
In the embodiment of the invention, the terminal selects the measurement results corresponding to the specified identifier from the measurement results measured at each measurement moment, and the number of the selected measurement results corresponding to the specified identifier does not exceed the reporting upper limit value corresponding to the specified identifier. The terminal only reports the selected measurement results, so that the number of measurement results reported by the terminal is limited, the storage space of the terminal for storing the measurement results to be reported is reduced, and the overhead for reporting the measurement results, such as the overhead of air interface signaling, is reduced.
Optionally, the computer program may further implement the following steps when executed by the processor 601:
receiving configuration information of minimization of drive tests sent by network side equipment, wherein the configuration information comprises:
at least one specified identification type, each of said specified identification types comprising at least one of said specified identifications; or, at least one of the specified identifications.
Optionally, the computer program may further implement the following steps when executed by the processor 601:
receiving configuration information of minimization of drive tests sent by network side equipment, wherein the configuration information comprises:
at least one specified identifier type and a reporting upper limit value corresponding to a specified identifier in each specified identifier type, wherein each specified identifier type comprises at least one specified identifier; or alternatively, the process may be performed,
at least one designated identifier and a reporting upper limit value corresponding to each designated identifier.
Optionally, the specified identification type includes at least one of: service set identification, device name, and a universally unique identification code.
Optionally, the computer program may further implement the following steps when executed by the processor 601:
and acquiring a reporting upper limit value corresponding to each specified identifier preset in the terminal.
Optionally, the computer program may further implement the following steps when executed by the processor 601:
sequencing the measurement results corresponding to the specified identifications according to the intensity of the measurement signals from strong to weak;
a first number of top ranked measurements is selected from the ranked results.
For details, please refer to the description of the method steps in the second embodiment.
An embodiment of the present invention provides a computer readable storage medium, on which a computer program is stored, where the computer program when executed by a processor implements a step of the configuration method of any one of the minimization of drive tests in the above embodiment or a step of the reporting method of any one of the minimization of drive tests in the second embodiment. For details, reference is made to the description of the method steps in the corresponding embodiments above.
The network side device in the embodiment of the present invention may be a base station (Base Transceiver Station, BTS) in global mobile communications (Global System of Mobile communication, GSM for short) or code division multiple access (Code Division Multiple Access, CDMA for short), a base station (NodeB, NB for short) in wideband code division multiple access (Wideband Code Division Multiple Access, WCDMA for short), an evolved base station (Evolutional Node B, eNB or eNodeB) in LTE, a relay station or access point, or a base station in a future 5G network, etc., which are not limited herein.
The terminal in the embodiment of the invention can be a wireless terminal or a wired terminal, and the wireless terminal can be a device for providing voice and/or other service data connectivity for a user, a handheld device with a wireless connection function or other processing devices connected to a wireless modem. A wireless terminal may communicate with one or more core networks via a radio access network (Radio Access Network, RAN for short), which may be mobile terminals such as mobile phones (or "cellular" phones) and computers with mobile terminals, e.g., portable, pocket, hand-held, computer-built-in or vehicle-mounted mobile devices that exchange voice and/or data with the radio access network. Such as personal communication services (Personal Communication Service, PCS) phones, cordless phones, session initiation protocol (Session Initiation Protocol, SIP) phones, wireless local loop (Wireless Local Loop, WLL) stations, personal digital assistants (Personal Digital Assistant, PDA) and the like. A wireless Terminal may also be referred to as a system, subscriber Unit (Subscriber Unit), subscriber Station (Subscriber Station), mobile Station (Mobile Station), remote Station (Remote Station), remote Terminal (Remote Terminal), access Terminal (Access Terminal), user Terminal (User Terminal), user Agent (User Agent), terminal (User Device or User Equipment), without limitation.
Such computer-readable media, including both non-transitory and non-transitory, removable and non-removable media, may be implemented in any method or technology for information storage. The information may be computer readable instructions, data structures, modules of a program, or other data. Examples of storage media for a computer include, but are not limited to, phase change memory (PRAM), static Random Access Memory (SRAM), dynamic Random Access Memory (DRAM), other types of Random Access Memory (RAM), read Only Memory (ROM), electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory (EEPROM), flash memory or other memory technology, compact disc read only memory (CD-ROM), digital Versatile Discs (DVD) or other optical storage, magnetic cassettes, magnetic tape disk storage or other magnetic storage devices, or any other non-transmission medium, which can be used to store information that can be accessed by a computing device.
While the foregoing is directed to the preferred embodiments of the present invention, it will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that various modifications and adaptations can be made without departing from the principles of the present invention, and such modifications and adaptations are intended to be comprehended within the scope of the present invention.

Claims (17)

1. A method for configuring minimization of drive tests, applied to a network side device, comprising:
transmitting configuration information of the minimization of drive tests to a terminal, wherein the configuration information comprises:
at least one appointed identification type corresponding to a measurement result required to be reported by the terminal and a reporting upper limit value corresponding to an appointed identification in each appointed identification type, wherein each appointed identification type comprises at least one appointed identification; or alternatively, the process may be performed,
at least one appointed identifier corresponding to a measurement result required to be reported by the terminal and a reporting upper limit value corresponding to each appointed identifier.
2. The minimization of drive test configuration method according to claim 1, wherein said specified identification type comprises at least one of: service set identification, device name, and a universally unique identification code.
3. The method for reporting the minimization of drive tests is applied to a terminal and is characterized by comprising the following steps:
acquiring a measurement result corresponding to the appointed mark in a measurement time;
selecting a first number of measurement results from the measurement results corresponding to the specified identifiers, wherein the first number does not exceed the reporting upper limit value corresponding to the specified identifiers;
reporting the first number of measurement results;
before the step of obtaining the measurement result corresponding to the specified identifier in the measurement time, the method further comprises the following steps:
receiving configuration information of minimization of drive tests sent by network side equipment, wherein the configuration information comprises:
at least one specified identifier type and a reporting upper limit value corresponding to a specified identifier in each specified identifier type, wherein each specified identifier type comprises at least one specified identifier; or alternatively, the process may be performed,
at least one designated identifier and a reporting upper limit value corresponding to each designated identifier.
4. The method for reporting a minimization of drive test according to claim 3, wherein before the step of obtaining the measurement result corresponding to the specified identifier in one measurement time, further comprises:
receiving configuration information of minimization of drive tests sent by network side equipment, wherein the configuration information comprises:
at least one specified identification type, each of said specified identification types comprising at least one of said specified identifications; or alternatively, the process may be performed,
at least one of the specified identifiers.
5. The method of claim 3 or 4, wherein the specified identification type comprises at least one of: service set identification, device name, and a universally unique identification code.
6. The method for reporting a minimization of drive test according to claim 3 or 4, wherein before the step of obtaining the measurement result corresponding to the specified identifier in one measurement time, further comprises:
and acquiring a reporting upper limit value corresponding to each specified identifier preset in the terminal.
7. The method for reporting a minimization of drive test according to claim 3, wherein the step of selecting a first number of measurement results from the measurement results corresponding to the specified identifier comprises:
sequencing the measurement results corresponding to the specified identifications according to the intensity of the measurement signals from strong to weak;
a first number of top ranked measurements is selected from the ranked results.
8. A network side device, comprising:
a transceiver, configured to send configuration information of minimization of drive tests to a terminal, where the configuration information includes:
at least one appointed identification type corresponding to a measurement result required to be reported by the terminal and a reporting upper limit value corresponding to an appointed identification in each appointed identification type, wherein each appointed identification type comprises at least one appointed identification; or alternatively, the process may be performed,
at least one appointed identifier corresponding to a measurement result required to be reported by the terminal and a reporting upper limit value corresponding to each appointed identifier.
9. The network-side device of claim 8, wherein the specified identification type comprises at least one of: service set identification, device name, and a universally unique identification code.
10. A terminal, comprising:
the processor is used for acquiring a measurement result corresponding to the appointed mark in one measurement moment; selecting a first number of measurement results from the measurement results corresponding to the specified identifiers, wherein the first number does not exceed the reporting upper limit value corresponding to the specified identifiers;
the transceiver is used for reporting the first number of measurement results;
the transceiver is further configured to receive configuration information of minimization of drive tests sent by the network side device, where the configuration information includes: at least one specified identifier type and a reporting upper limit value corresponding to a specified identifier in each specified identifier type, wherein each specified identifier type comprises at least one specified identifier; or at least one designated identifier and a reporting upper limit value corresponding to each designated identifier.
11. The terminal of claim 10, wherein the transceiver is further configured to receive configuration information of minimization of drive tests sent by a network side device, the configuration information comprising: at least one specified identification type, each of said specified identification types comprising at least one of said specified identifications; or, at least one of the specified identifications.
12. The terminal according to claim 10 or 11, wherein the specified identity type comprises at least one of: service set identification, device name, and a universally unique identification code.
13. The terminal according to claim 10 or 11, wherein the processor is further configured to obtain a reporting upper limit value corresponding to each of the specified identifiers preset in the terminal.
14. The terminal of claim 10, wherein the processor is configured to rank the measurement results corresponding to the specified identification from strong to weak according to the strength of the measurement signal; a first number of top ranked measurements is selected from the ranked results.
15. A network side device comprising a memory, a processor and a computer program stored on the memory and executable on the processor; the method for configuring a minimization of drive tests according to claim 1 or 2, wherein said processor, when executing said computer program.
16. A terminal comprising a memory, a processor and a computer program stored on the memory and executable on the processor; the method for reporting minimization of drive tests according to any one of claims 3 to 7, wherein said processor when executing said computer program.
17. A computer readable storage medium, on which a computer program is stored, characterized in that the computer program, when being executed by a processor, implements a method of configuration of a minimization of drive tests according to claim 1 or 2 or a method of reporting a minimization of drive test according to any one of claims 3-7.
