本申请提供一种终端设备的故障处理方法及终端设备,涉及终端技术领域,能够提高检测终端设备出现黑屏或者卡屏等故障的结果的准确性。该故障处理方法包括:获取第一操作和第一结果;且确定第一操作和预定义的第二操作相同,确定第一结果为故障结果;以及在第一操作和第二操作相同,第一结果为故障结果的情况下,确定终端设备出现真实故障;第一操作为用户当前对终端设备执行的操作,第一结果为终端设备响应第一操作的结果。
