Description

Intramedullary nail sighting device
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of orthopedic medical instruments, in particular to an intramedullary nail sighting device.
Background
The intramedullary nail is a commonly used internal fixation treatment method for fracture, in particular to a preferred method for femoral, tibial and humeral shaft fractures. Based on the structural characteristics of the intramedullary nail, the intramedullary nail is biologically fixed (relatively stable), has uniform stress distribution, has small influence on the fracture end, and has elasticity beneficial to fracture healing.
In clinic, aiming and fixing of intramedullary nails are often assisted by intramedullary nail sights. In the process, the intramedullary nail, the handle, the near-end aiming device, the gear bracket, the far-end aiming device and the lateral bracket are assembled firstly, the E-shaped clamping block and the positioning rod are used for pressing down and positioning the far-end positioning platform of the intramedullary nail, finally the protective sleeve is clamped in the sleeve hole of the lateral bracket, and the locking nail is implanted into the far-end locking nail hole of the intramedullary nail through the protective sleeve, so that the far-end locking nail fixing can be completed.
The locking pin is typically implanted from the inside of the affected limb of the patient. Therefore, in the case where the side bracket is fixedly connected to the range bracket, the positional relationship between the both is determined. That is, the intramedullary nail sighting device with one connection mode is only suitable for the intramedullary nail implantation operation of one affected limb of the left and right affected limbs. Therefore, two kinds of intramedullary nail sighting devices with different connecting directions between the lateral bracket and the gear bracket are generally needed to meet the surgical application requirements of the affected limb on the left side and the affected limb on the right side of the patient. This objectively and directly increases the cost of medical equipment in hospitals and to some extent brings inconvenience to the operation.
Disclosure of Invention
The present invention is directed to an intramedullary nail aiming device to solve the above-mentioned problems of the prior art.
The intramedullary nail sighting device comprises a handle, a lateral bracket, a gear bracket and at least one locking nut. The lateral support has a connecting end and a free end. The range bracket has a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal portion has a gear segment. The gear section is provided with scales. The distal portion has a connecting segment. The connecting section has opposite sides. The connection end may be detachably fixed to either one of the two sides. The intramedullary nail sighting device can be applied to any side of the left or right affected limb of a patient according to actual needs, two kinds of intramedullary nail sighting devices with different connecting directions of the lateral bracket and the gear bracket are not needed, the instrument cost of a hospital is objectively reduced, and convenience is brought to smooth operation.
According to one aspect of the intramedullary nail sight of the present invention, the connecting section has two through holes, the axes of the two through holes are parallel to each other, and both ends of each of the two through holes are located at both sides. Such an arrangement enables the gear bracket to have a structure that can be conveniently and securely connected to the gear bracket through either of the two sides.
According to another aspect of the intramedullary nail sight of the present invention, the connecting end has a threaded connection and a protrusion. The nipple and the projection are inserted into the two through holes from one of the two sides, respectively, and the nipple is fixed by one of the lock nuts at the other of the two sides. Such an arrangement allows the lateral support to be attached to either side of the two sides in a convenient and secure manner.
According to a further aspect of the intramedullary nail sight according to the present invention, the connecting end has two threaded joints. The two screw joints are inserted into the two through holes from one of the two sides, respectively, and the other sides of the two screw joints on the two sides are fixed by the two lock nuts, respectively. Such an arrangement allows the lateral support to be attached to either side of the two sides in a convenient and secure manner.
According to a further aspect of the intramedullary nail sight according to the present invention, the distal portion has a sleeve hole having an axis perpendicular to the plane of the axes of the two through holes and equidistant from the axes of the two through holes. The arrangement can ensure that the positioning rod is inserted into the distal positioning rod hole of the intramedullary nail through the positioning rod sleeve, thereby ensuring that the distal end of the intramedullary nail is accurately and smoothly locked.
According to yet another aspect of the intramedullary nail sight of the present invention, the proximal portion has a distal aiming means. The arrangement is beneficial to aiming operation of the far end of the intramedullary nail and improves aiming precision.
According to a further aspect of the intramedullary nail sight according to the present invention, said lateral support is made of a material that is transparent to X-rays. Such an arrangement may avoid the lateral support from obscuring X-ray imaging.
According to yet another aspect of the intramedullary nail sight of the present invention, the free end has a screw. Such an arrangement facilitates better retention of the protective sleeve within the sleeve bore and to some extent extends the useful life of the lateral support.
According to a further aspect of the intramedullary nail sight according to the present invention, the free end has two sleeve holes and the two sleeve holes are axisymmetric with respect to the axis of the screw. The arrangement is favorable for the locking nail to be smoothly implanted into the locking nail hole at the far end of the intramedullary nail through the through hole of the sleeve.
