Description

Wireless management frame sending method and device, AP (access point) equipment and storage medium
Technical Field
The present application belongs to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a method and an apparatus for transmitting a wireless management frame, an AP device, and a storage medium.
Background
A wireless lan is an open data network, and as more and more users use the wireless lan, the channel environment of the wireless network becomes more congested. Because of the CSMA/CA protocol, before sending wireless frame, it needs to detect whether the wireless channel is idle, if it is, it can send, otherwise it will back off for a period of time, and then try to send.
Therefore, when the channel resources are less, the problem that the wireless management frame (such as a Beacon frame, an Auth frame, a Deauth frame, an Assoc frame, etc.) sent by the AP device is not easy to send occurs, and if the wireless management frame of the AP device cannot be sent normally, the wireless environment is unstable, such as a problem that a terminal (Station) is disconnected, etc. occurs.

Without further limitation, an element defined by the phrase "comprising an … …" does not exclude the presence of other identical elements in a process, method, article, or apparatus that comprises the element.
Further, the term "and/or" in the present application is only one kind of association relationship describing the associated object, and means that three kinds of relationships may exist, for example, a and/or B may mean: a exists alone, A and B exist simultaneously, and B exists alone.
In view of the fact that no solution for the problem of difficult transmission of radio management frames when radio channel resources are small exists at present. Referring to fig. 1, steps included in a method for sending a wireless management frame applied to an ap (access point) device according to an embodiment of the present application will be described below with reference to fig. 1.
Step S101: and when detecting that the wireless management frame needs to be sent at the current moment, judging whether other wireless equipment in the signal coverage range of the AP equipment needs to be kept silent.
In order to ensure the stability of the wireless environment, the AP device may send a wireless management frame (e.g., Beacon frame, Auth frame, Deauth frame, Assoc frame, etc.) from time to time, and when it is detected that the wireless management frame needs to be sent at the current time, it is first determined whether other wireless devices in the signal coverage of the AP device need to be kept silent. If not, that is, if it is not necessary to silence other wireless devices within the signal coverage of the AP device, step S103 is directly performed, and if yes, that is, if it is necessary to silence other wireless devices within the signal coverage of the AP device, step S102 is performed.
As an embodiment, when it is detected that the wireless management frame needs to be transmitted at the current time, it may be determined whether other wireless devices within the signal coverage of the AP device need to be silenced by determining whether the channel resource occupancy rate at the current time exceeds a preset channel resource threshold of the wireless management frame. When the occupancy rate of the channel resources exceeds the preset threshold value of the channel resources, characterizing that other wireless devices in the signal coverage range of the AP device need to be kept silent.
In this embodiment, a channel resource threshold of the wireless management frame to be protected may be configured in advance, and when the channel resource exceeds a preset channel resource threshold, it indicates that a wireless management frame protection function needs to be turned on, that is, before the wireless management frame is sent, other wireless devices in a signal coverage of the AP device need to be kept silent. At this time, before step S101, the method further includes: receiving configuration information for a wireless management frame input by a user, the configuration information comprising: frame category and channel resource threshold; and responding to the configuration operation of the user, and saving corresponding configuration information. Wherein the frame categories include: a Beacon frame, an Auth frame, a Deauth frame, an Assoc frame, etc. When a certain wireless management frame needs to be sent at the current moment, the wireless management frame is identified, a corresponding preset channel resource threshold value is obtained, and whether the current channel resource occupancy rate exceeds the corresponding preset channel resource threshold value is judged. It should be noted that, in this embodiment, the preset channel resource threshold set by different radio management frames may be different, and therefore, it is only necessary to identify the radio management frame to obtain the corresponding preset channel resource threshold. If the preset channel resource thresholds of all the radio management frames (different types of management frames) are the same, the configuration information may not include the frame type.
Different channel resource thresholds can be set for different wireless management frames, and different protection levels can also be set, so that as another implementation manner, when it is detected that the wireless management frame needs to be sent at the current time, whether the channel resource occupancy rate at the current time exceeds the preset channel resource threshold of the wireless management frame can be judged; if so, judging whether the interval for sending the CTS wireless frame exceeds the time length corresponding to the protection level of the wireless management frame. And when the channel resource occupancy rate exceeds the preset channel resource threshold value and the interval for sending the CTS wireless frame exceeds the duration corresponding to the protection level, characterizing that other wireless devices in the signal coverage range of the AP device need to be kept silent. That is, in this embodiment, it is determined whether to silence other wireless devices within the signal coverage of the AP device by determining whether the channel resource occupancy at the current time exceeds the preset channel resource threshold of the wireless management frame and determining whether the interval for sending the CTS wireless frame exceeds the duration corresponding to the protection level of the wireless management frame. And only when the channel resource occupancy rate at the current moment exceeds the preset channel resource threshold of the wireless management frame and the interval for sending the CTS wireless frame exceeds the duration corresponding to the protection level of the wireless management frame, other wireless devices in the signal coverage range of the AP device need to be kept silent.
In this embodiment, in addition to configuring the channel resource threshold of the wireless management frame to be protected in advance, corresponding protection levels are also set, and the interval periods for sending the CTS wireless frames, which are indicated by different protection levels, are also different, that is, the frequencies for sending the CTS wireless frames are different. For example, the protection level may be divided into high, medium, and low, and the corresponding frequency of sending the CTS radio frame is: if the protection level is high, a CTS wireless frame is sent before each protected management frame is sent; if the protection level is middle, 1 CTS wireless frame is sent at most 1 second when the protected management frame is sent (namely the interval for sending the CTS wireless frame is not less than 1 second); if the protection level is low, 1 CTS wireless frame is transmitted at most 3 seconds (that is, the interval of transmitting the CTS wireless frames must not be less than 3 seconds) when the protected management frame is transmitted. When the channel resource exceeds a preset channel resource threshold and the interval for sending the CTS wireless frame exceeds the duration corresponding to the protection level, it indicates that a wireless management frame protection function needs to be started, that is, before sending the wireless management frame, other wireless devices in the signal coverage range of the AP device need to be kept silent. At this time, before step S101, the method further includes: receiving configuration information for a wireless management frame input by a user, the configuration information comprising: frame category, channel resource threshold and protection level; and responding to the configuration operation of the user, and saving corresponding configuration information. When a certain wireless management frame needs to be sent at the current moment, the wireless management frame is identified, a corresponding preset channel resource threshold value and a protection level are obtained, whether the current channel resource occupancy rate exceeds the corresponding preset channel resource threshold value or not is judged, and if the current channel resource occupancy rate exceeds the threshold value, whether the interval for sending the CTS wireless frame exceeds the duration corresponding to the corresponding protection level or not is judged.
When identifying the wireless management frame, reference may be made to the IEEE 802.11 protocol, and a frame format of the 802.11 protocol frame is shown in fig. 2. In the 802.11 Frame format, the first two bytes are the Frame Control field. Protocol field: for protocol version, since the 802.11 protocol cluster currently has only one version, these two bits are always 00. Type field: currently, there are three values, where 00 is the management frame; 01 ═ control frame; 10 ═ data frame. Type field: represents a subtype, only the subtype of the management frame is listed here: 0000 Association request frame; associate request reply frame 0001 ═ Association response; 0010 is a response association request, and then associates the request frame; 0011. Reassociation request reply frame; 0100 ═ Probe request, Probe request frame; 0101 ═ Probe response, Probe request reply frame; 1000 ═ Beacon, Beacon frame; 1001, an notification traffic indication message (ATIM); disassociation, Disassociation frame (Disassoc frame for short) 1010; authentication frame (Auth frame for short) 1011; 1100, Deauthentication frame (Deauth frame for short); 1101 ═ Action, Action frame; 1110 ═ Action no ack.
Wherein the channel resource occupancy is obtained by: acquiring the number of clock cycles of which the wireless signal energy exceeds a preset threshold value within a specified time; determining a percentage of a ratio of the number of clock cycles to a total number of clock cycles within the specified time as the channel resource occupancy. The calculation formula is as follows: the occupancy of the channel resource is (number of clock cycles that the channel is busy/total number of clock cycles) x 100%. Where the clock period is provided by the cpu, there are 100000 periods in total for a certain time, such as 1 second, and assuming that there are 80000 periods in which the channel is detected to be busy, the occupancy rate of the channel resource is (80000 ÷ 100000) × 100% >, 80%. The busy channel is realized by detecting the energy of the wireless signal, and in a certain clock cycle, if the energy of the wireless signal is found to exceed a preset threshold value, the number of the busy channel clock cycles is added with 1.
Step S102: and sending a CTS wireless frame with a receiving address of the basic service identifier of the AP equipment so as to silence other wireless equipment in the signal coverage range of the AP equipment.
When detecting that a wireless management frame needs to be sent at the current moment and determining that other wireless devices in the signal coverage area of the AP device need to be silenced, sending a CTS wireless frame with a receiving address as a basic service identifier of the AP device so as to silence the other wireless devices in the signal coverage area of the AP device. The silent Duration of the other wireless devices is the Duration specified by the CTS radio frame, that is, the silent Duration is the Duration specified in the Duration field of the CTS radio frame, and if the Duration specified in the Duration field is 0.5S, the Duration for which the other wireless devices keep silent is 0.5S.
Although there is a scheme of protecting a data frame by using a Request To Send/Clear To Send (RTS/CTS) protocol, that is, before a device a sends a data frame To a device B, the device a sends an RTS wireless frame To the device B, after receiving the RTS wireless frame, the device B replies To the RTS wireless frame with a destination address of the device a To inform other devices in a signal coverage area, the device a needs To Send a plurality of data To the device B, and the rest of wireless stations that want To Send data To the device B suspend sending; both parties do not begin the true data transfer until they successfully exchange the RTS/CTS radio frame (i.e., handshake is completed). However, it can be seen that this approach requires two frames to interact, which is more wasteful of channel resources, and is even less desirable especially when there is little channel resource remaining. The method only needs to send a CTS wireless frame with a receiving address as the basic service identification of the self equipment to protect the sending of the wireless management frame.
Step S103: and transmitting the wireless management frame.
When detecting that a wireless management frame needs to be sent at the current moment, firstly judging whether other wireless devices in a signal coverage range of the AP device need to be kept silent, if so, firstly sending a CTS wireless frame with a receiving address as a basic service identifier of the AP device, and then sending the wireless management frame; and if not, directly transmitting the wireless management frame.
For the sake of understanding, taking the example of sending a Beacon frame, assume that a protection policy set in advance is (Beacon frame, 85, middle), where the policy set is described in detail as follows: beacon frame: the frame type to be protected is specified; 85 represents that when the occupancy rate of the channel resources is greater than 85%, the Beacon frame sent by the AP equipment needs to be protected; the method comprises the following steps: the management frame protection level is middle, which indicates that the interval of sending the CTS wireless frame by the AP device cannot be less than 1 second. Assuming that the transmission cycle of the Beacon frame is 100ms, that is, 10 Beacon frames are transmitted every second, when it is detected that the Beacon frame needs to be transmitted at the current time, it is determined whether the channel resource occupancy rate (assumed to be 95%) at the current time exceeds the preset channel resource threshold (85%) of the wireless management frame, if so, it is determined whether the interval from the last transmission of the CTS wireless frame exceeds the duration (1 second) corresponding to the protection level, if so, the wireless frame CTS is transmitted before the Beacon frame is transmitted, otherwise, the Beacon frame is directly transmitted, and the flow of the method is shown in fig. 3.
The embodiment of the present application further provides a wireless management frame transmitting apparatus 100 applied to an AP device, as shown in fig. 4. The radio management frame transmission apparatus 100 includes: a judging module 110, a first sending module 120, and a second sending module 130.
