The invention discloses a self-locking double-layer ribbed externally hung wallboard and a production and installation process thereof, wherein the wallboard comprises the following components: outer wallboard, reinforced concrete rib and inlayer heat preservation. The wall plate adopts the wedge-shaped grooves at four corners of the external wall plate to be embedded and connected with the wedge-shaped steel bracket on the main body structure, and the external wall plate is more firmly embedded and fixed with the steel bracket through the dead weight of the external wall. The double-layer external wallboard has the main advantages of light dead weight, low cost and no complex supporting structure, avoids the complexity of the installation process, simplifies the construction method, and simultaneously, the connection between the components is tighter, thereby further improving the connection stability and the use safety. The improvement of the connection mode greatly reduces unnecessary construction steps, simplifies the flow, facilitates construction and improves the efficiency.
