Example one
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of an ink conversion method according to an embodiment of the present invention. The embodiment of the invention provides an ink conversion method aiming at the problems that special setting of ink cannot be carried out on the color plates, contents of different color plates cannot be combined into the same color plate or some color plates are converted into special color plates during printing at present. As shown in fig. 1, the method comprises the following specific steps:
step S101, acquiring ink conversion information corresponding to the PDF file before printing, wherein the ink conversion information comprises identification information of at least one primary color surface to be converted in the PDF file before printing and information of a target color surface corresponding to the at least one primary color surface.
The information of the target color plane comprises: identification information of the target color plane, whether the target color plane is a spot color, an alternative color space type of the spot color, and an alternative color space color value of the spot color. The substitute color space type of the spot color and the substitute color space color value of the spot color are valid when the target color plane is the spot color, and the substitute color space type of the spot color and the substitute color space color value of the spot color are invalid information when the target color plane is not the spot color. Generally, the identification information of the color plane may be a color plane name.
Optionally, in this embodiment, the alternative Color Space (i.e., Alternate Color Space) of the spot Color may support a CMYK Color Space and a Lab Color Space.
When printing, if the contents of different color plates are needed to be combined into the same color plate, that is, the different color plates are converted into the same color plate; or when some color plates are converted into special color plates, one or more color surfaces corresponding to the original color plates before conversion in the PDF file before printing are required to be used as at least one original color surface to be converted, ink conversion is carried out, and at least one original color surface is converted into a specified target color surface, so that the color plate corresponding to at least one original color surface is replaced by a processing color or a special color plate corresponding to the target color surface.
In this embodiment, the information of the primary color plane and the information of the target color plane in the ink conversion information may be set by a technician according to actual printing needs, and the ink conversion information may be stored in a preset configuration file in advance. For example, the ink conversion information may be stored in a job ticket.
Step S102, redefining a primary color space containing a first color surface in the PDF file before printing into a target color space according to the ink conversion information, wherein the target color space comprises the target color surface corresponding to the first color surface and other color surfaces except the first color surface in the primary color space, and the first color surface is any one of at least one primary color surface to be converted.
In a PDF pre-press file, the color planes are associated with color spaces, and different color spaces include different color planes, for example, the CMYK color space includes the following four color planes: cyan (Cyan), Magenta (Magenta), Yellow (Yellow), and Black (Black). Generally, the spot color space only contains one spot color plane, and the DeviceN color space with the substitute color space of CMYK may contain any color plane and any spot color plane in the CMYK color space, and the number of the color planes is not fixed.
One or more color spaces are defined in the PDF file before printing, and according to the definition of the color space in the PDF1.7 specification, after the ink conversion converts at least one primary color surface of the primary color space into the target color surface, the primary color space may not support the number of color surfaces of the new color space obtained after the conversion and/or the identification information of the target color surface.
In this step of this embodiment, the primary color space including the first color plane in the PDF file before printing is redefined as the target color space according to the ink conversion information, where the redefined target color space includes the target color plane corresponding to the first color plane and color planes other than the first color plane in the primary color space, and the first color plane is any one of the at least one primary color plane to be converted, so that the redefined target color space supports the number of color planes in the new color space obtained after ink conversion and/or the identification information of the target color plane.
For example, assuming that the process color space is a CMYK color space including four color planes of Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black, if the color plane Cyan in the CMYK color space is converted to spot c, the new color space after the ink conversion includes four color planes of spot c, Magenta, Yellow, and Black, it is obvious that the CMYK color space is not supported, and the CMYK color space may be redefined as a DeviceN color space including the color planes of spot c, Magenta, Yellow, and Black.
For another example, if the color plane Cyan in the CMYK color space is converted to the process color Magenta, the new color space after the ink conversion includes Magenta, Yellow, and Black, and it is obvious that the CMYK color space is also unsupported, and the CMYK color space can be redefined as a DeviceN color space including the color planes Magenta, Yellow, and Black and the alternate color space CMYK.
Optionally, the primary color space in this embodiment may be any one of the following: CMYK color space, Separation color space, DeviceN color space where the alternative color space is CMYK color space, Indexed color space, and unoiled Pattern color space, and so on.
Step S103, changing the color space and the color value of the primitive related to the first color surface in the PDF file before printing according to the ink conversion information, each primary color space and the corresponding target color space.
In general, in a PDF document before printing, the color space ultimately acts on a specific primitive through which the color effect we see appears, i.e., the primitive is the carrier of color.
In this embodiment, the pre-press PDF file includes one or more primitives, and a color space corresponding to each primitive and a color value corresponding to the color space are recorded.
The graphical element may be a graphic, an image, a gradient or a sub-page, etc. For graphics, a color space corresponding to the graphics is recorded in the pre-press PDF file, and the graphics correspond to each color surface color value component of the color space to constitute a color value of the graphics corresponding to the color space.
For an image, a color space corresponding to the image is recorded in a PDF file before printing, each pixel point of the image corresponds to each color face color value component of the color space, the pixel point corresponds to each color face color value component of the color space to form a color value of the pixel corresponding to the color space, and the color value of the image corresponding to the color space comprises a color value of each pixel point of the image corresponding to the color space.
For different types of primitives, the modes of recording the color space and the color value of the primitive by the pre-printing PDF file are different, and the color space and the color value of each type of primitive can be recorded by the pre-printing PDF file according to the PDF1.7 specification, which is not described herein again in this embodiment.
In this embodiment, after redefining the primary color space containing the first color surface in the pre-print PDF file into the target color space, the color space and the color value of the primitive related to the first color surface in the pre-print PDF file are changed according to the ink conversion information, each primary color space, and the corresponding target color space, so as to complete the ink conversion of the pre-print PDF file.
The method comprises the steps of acquiring ink conversion information corresponding to a pre-press PDF file, wherein the ink conversion information comprises identification information of at least one primary color surface to be converted in the pre-press PDF file and information of a target color surface corresponding to the at least one primary color surface; redefining a primary color space containing a first color surface in the PDF file before printing into a target color space according to the ink conversion information, wherein the target color space comprises a target color surface corresponding to the first color surface and other color surfaces except the first color surface in the primary color space, and the first color surface is any one of at least one primary color surface to be converted; according to the printing ink conversion information, each primary color space and the corresponding target color space, the color space and the color value of the primitive related to the first color surface in the PDF file before printing are changed, the primary color space related to at least one primary color surface defined in the PDF file before printing is converted into the target color space including the target color surface corresponding to at least one primary color surface, and therefore at least one primary color surface is converted into the target color surface, the content of different color plates corresponding to at least one primary color surface can be combined into the same color plate by replacing the color plate corresponding to the target color surface with the specified color plate, and certain color plates can be converted into special color plates.
Example two
FIG. 2 is a flow chart of an ink conversion method according to a second embodiment of the present invention. On the basis of the first embodiment, as shown in fig. 2, in this embodiment, the method specifically includes the following steps:
step S201, acquiring a job ticket file corresponding to the pre-press PDF file, where the job ticket file records ink conversion information corresponding to the pre-press PDF file.
The printing ink conversion information comprises identification information of at least one primary color surface to be converted in the PDF file before printing and information of a target color surface corresponding to the at least one primary color surface.
Step S202, extracting the ink conversion information corresponding to the PDF file before printing from the job ticket file.
In general, the requirement information of the job of this time may be recorded in a job ticket, and the ink conversion information may be stored in the job ticket by a technician in advance. In this embodiment, the ink conversion information corresponding to the pre-press PDF file is obtained by obtaining the job ticket file corresponding to the pre-press PDF file and extracting the ink conversion information corresponding to the pre-press PDF file from the job ticket file.
Optionally, after the ink conversion information corresponding to the PDF file before printing is acquired, the ink conversion information of at least one primary color surface may be stored in an array form. Each item in the array is used for storing ink conversion information of a primary color surface, and specifically may include: identification information of the primary color surface, identification information of the target color surface, whether the target color surface is a spot color, an alternative color space type of the spot color, an alternative color space color value of the spot color, and the like.
The above steps S201 to S202 are a feasible implementation manner for acquiring the ink conversion information corresponding to the pre-press PDF file.
Step S203, obtaining definition information of at least one primary color space in the PDF file before printing according to the identification information of at least one primary color surface to be converted in the ink conversion information.
The primary color space is a color space containing a first color surface in a PDF file before printing ink conversion, and the first color surface is any one of at least one primary color surface to be converted. The target color space comprises a target color surface corresponding to the first color surface and other color surfaces except the first color surface in the primary color space.
According to the PDF1.7 specification, definition information of a color space to be used is recorded in a PDF file before printing, and the definition information of the color space at least includes identification information of the color space and color plane information included in the color space, and the definition information is used to define one color space. The identification information of the color space may be a color space name or a color space type, the color plane information of the color space may be identification information of all color planes included in the color space, and the identification information of the color plane may be a color plane name. For example, the definition of DeviceN color space as CMYK in accordance with the PDF1.7 specification requires specifying a sequence of color plane names; the color space type is "DeviceN color space whose substitute color space is CMYK", and can be used as identification information of the color space.
In this step, definition information of a primary color space of any primary color surface included in color surface information in the PDF file before printing may be acquired according to identification information of at least one primary color surface to be converted in the ink conversion information.
And step S204, updating the definition information of each primary color space in the PDF file before printing into the definition information of the corresponding target color space according to the definition information of the primary color space and the information of the target color surface corresponding to each primary color surface in the ink conversion information.
Specifically, since the definition information of the color space at least includes identification information of the color space and color plane information included in the color space, in this step, updating the definition information of each primary color space in the PDF file before printing to the definition information of the corresponding target color space according to the definition information of the primary color space and the information of the target color plane corresponding to each primary color plane in the ink conversion information at least includes: and replacing the identification information of the primary color space in the definition information of the primary color space with the identification information of the target color space, and replacing the identification information of a first color surface in the color surface information of the primary color space in the definition information of the primary color space with the identification information of the target color surface corresponding to the first color surface, wherein the first color surface is the primary color surface corresponding to the target color surface before conversion.
The above steps S203-S204 are a possible implementation manner of redefining the primary color space containing the first color surface in the pre-press PDF file into the target color space according to the ink conversion information.
Since the ink conversion is color plane level, a certain color plane may exist in a plurality of color spaces, or a plurality of different color spaces contain the same color plane, and thus, when performing the ink conversion, it is necessary to redefine all the color spaces in which the primary color planes exist.
In an embodiment of the present invention, the primary color space may be at least the following types of color spaces: a CMYK color space, a Separation color space, a DeviceN color space in which the substitute color space is a CMYK color space, an inexxed color space, and an unolored Pattern color space. The redefinition of these five types of color spaces is further explained below:
(1) if the primary color space is a CMYK color space, the target color space corresponding to the primary color space is a DeviceN color space whose substitute color space is the CMYK color space.
Specifically, the type of the target color space corresponding to the primary color space of the CMYK color space is a DeviceN color space of which the substitute color space is a CMYK color space, and the type of the color space may be used as identification information of the color space.
According to the PDF1.7 specification, the definition information of DeviceN color space, which is a CMYK color space, at least specifies a color plane name sequence and a calculation function for solving CMYK replacement color values of DeviceN. In this step, the color plane name sequence may be set such that the primary color plane in the primary color space is replaced with the color plane names of all the color planes included after the target color plane, and the same color plane name does not exist in the color plane sequence.
The function for calculating the color value in the substitute color space is a sampling function, and the function for calculating the color value in the substitute color space can be implemented by using a sampling function in the prior art, which converts the color value in the DeviceN color space, in which the substitute color space is a CMYK color space, to the color value in the CMYK substitute color space, and this embodiment is not limited in this embodiment.
(2) If the primary color space is the Separation color space, the target color space corresponding to the primary color space is the Separation color space.
The Separation color space is a spot color space, and since the number of color planes of the Separation color space is always one, a target color space corresponding to a primary color space of the type of the Separation color space can still be defined as the Separation color space.
According to the specification of PDF1.7, the definition of the Separation color space needs a special color name, a substitute color space type and a substitute color space color value, in the step, the special color name can be set as the color surface name of a target color surface obtained after primary color surface conversion in a primary color space, and the substitute color space type and the substitute color value are directly set as the substitute color space type and the substitute color value in the ink conversion information in the job ticket file.
(3) If the primary color space is a DeviceN color space whose substitute color space is a CMYK color space, the target color space corresponding to the primary color space is a DeviceN color space whose substitute color space is a CMYK color space.
The type of the target color space corresponding to the primary color space of the DeviceN color space with the type of the replacement color space of CMYK is still the DeviceN color space with the type of the replacement color space of CMYK, and the type of the color space can be used as the identification information of the color space.
(4) If the primary color space is an extended color space, the target color space corresponding to the primary color space is an extended color space.
Specifically, the type of the target color space corresponding to the primary color space with the type of the Indexed color space is still the Indexed color space, and the type of the color space can be used as the identification information of the color space.
According to the PDF1.7 specification, the Indexed Color Space includes a basic Color Space (Base Color Space), and if the primary Color plane in the basic Color Space of the Indexed Color Space is converted into a target Color plane, the Base Color Space is redefined according to the type of the basic Color Space of the Indexed Color Space, and the specific process of redefining the Base Color Space is consistent with the process of redefining the primary Color Space of the same type, which is not described herein again.
And the definition of the target color space is based on the definition of the primary color space, and the name of the basic color space in the definition information of the primary color space is replaced by the name of the redefined color space corresponding to the basic color space.
(5) If the primary color space is an unolored Pattern color space, the target color space corresponding to the primary color space is the unolored Pattern color space.
Specifically, the type of the target color space corresponding to the primary color space of the unolored Pattern color space is still the unolored Pattern color space, and the type of the color space can be used as the identification information of the color space.
In this step, the color space name in the definition information of the primary color space is replaced with the color space name corresponding to the target color space, so that the primary color space can be redefined as the target color space.
Step S205, a primary color space and a primary color value of a primitive related to the first color plane in the pre-print PDF file are obtained.
And S206, determining a target color space corresponding to the primary color space of the primitive according to the primary color spaces and the corresponding target color spaces, and changing the color space of the primitive into the target color space.
In this step, the color space identification information of the primitive may be changed to the identification information of the target color space, so as to change the color space of the primitive to the target color space. For example, the color space name of the primitive may be changed to the color space name of the target color space.
Typically, the primitives in the pre-press PDF file may be graphics, images, fades, or sub-pages, etc.
Different types of primitives correspond to different manners of setting identification information of color spaces, and the setting may be specifically performed according to the PDF1.7 specification, in this embodiment, only graphics and images are taken as examples for schematic description, and a description of a method for changing color spaces of other primitives is omitted here.
For example, according to the PDF1.7 specification, the color space of graphics is set by CS (or CS) instruction, and the instruction format is "name CS" or "name CS", where the name represents the color space name of the target color space.
For example, according to the specification of PDF1.7, the color space of an image is set by setting the value of a "Colorspace" term in an image dictionary, and the value of the term in the image dictionary is set as the color space name of the target color space, so that the color space of the primitive can be changed to the target color space.
In addition, for the sub-pages such as NormalTransGroup, ColoredPattern and the like, because the ink conversion does not distinguish the physical page from the sub-pages, the transparent group sub-pages are automatically effective for modification of the physical page, and the setting of the steps S205-S208 is not required for the sub-page primitives.
And step S207, calculating color value components of the primitives corresponding to all color surfaces of the target color space according to the ink conversion information, the primitive color space of the primitives and the target color space, and obtaining the color values of the primitives corresponding to the target color space.
Specifically, according to the printing ink conversion information, the primary color space and the target color space of the primitive, the color value components of the primitive corresponding to each color surface of the target color space are calculated, the color value of the primitive corresponding to the target color space is obtained, that is, the color value of the primitive corresponding to the primary color space is converted into the color value of the primitive corresponding to the target color space, and the method can be realized in the following way:
determining n primary color surfaces of the primary color space corresponding to a second color surface in the target color space according to the primary color space and the target color space of the graphic element, wherein n is a positive integer, and the second color surface is any one color surface in the target color space; if n is 1, the color value component of the primitive corresponding to the second color plane is equal to the color value component corresponding to the primary color plane of the primary color space corresponding to the second color plane in the primary color values; and if n is larger than 1, calculating the color value components of the primitive corresponding to the second color plane according to the color value components corresponding to the n primary color planes of the primary color space corresponding to the second color plane in the primary color values.
In this embodiment, if n is 1, that is, each target color plane corresponds to only one primary color plane, at this time, a color value component corresponding to the primary color plane in the primary color space corresponding to the second color plane in the primary color value may be directly used as a color value component corresponding to the second color plane of the primitive.
If n is greater than 1, the target color plane corresponds to multiple primary color planes, or the multiple primary color planes are converted into the same target color plane, and at this time, the number of color planes in the target color space is less than that of the primary color space corresponding to the target color plane, and then, according to color value components corresponding to the n primary color planes in the primary color space corresponding to the second color plane in the primary color values, the color value components corresponding to the second color plane of the primitive are calculated by adopting the following formula:
Cr=∑1≤i≤nCi-∑1≤i<j≤nCiCj+∑1≤i<j<k≤nCiCjCk-…+(-1)n-1C1C2…Cn
wherein, C1,C2,…,Ci,…,CnRepresenting the color value components, C, of the primitive corresponding to the n primary color planesrRepresenting the color value component of the graphical element corresponding to the second color plane, CrAnd C1,C2,…,Ci,…,CnAll values of (1) are [0,1 ]]。
Optionally, according to the ink conversion information, the primary color space of the primitive, and the target color space, the color value components of the primitive corresponding to each color plane of the target color space are calculated, and the color value of the primitive corresponding to the target color space is obtained, that is, the color value of the primitive corresponding to the primary color space is converted into the color value of the primitive corresponding to the target color space, and the method can also be implemented in the following manner:
firstly, determining whether the number of color surfaces of the primary color space is equal to that of the target color space or not according to the primary color space and the target color space of the graphic element; if the color values of the primitive corresponding to the second color plane are equal to the color values of the primitive corresponding to the primary color plane in the primary color space corresponding to the second color plane, the second color plane is any one color plane in the target color space, and the calculation efficiency can be improved to a certain extent.
If the pixel values are not equal, determining n primary color surfaces of the primary color space corresponding to a second color surface in the target color space according to the primary color space and the target color space of the pixel, wherein n is a positive integer, and the second color surface is any one color surface in the target color space; if n is 1, the color value component of the primitive corresponding to the second color plane is equal to the color value component corresponding to the primary color plane of the primary color space corresponding to the second color plane in the primary color values; and if n is larger than 1, calculating the color value components of the primitive corresponding to the second color plane according to the color value components corresponding to the n primary color planes of the primary color space corresponding to the second color plane in the primary color values.
In addition, if the primary Color space is an Indexed Color space, the target Color space is also an Indexed Color space, and the number of Color planes in the redefined Color space of the primary Color space is less than the number of Color planes in the base Color space before the redefining, the primitive in the lookup Table (Color Table) is updated to correspond to each Color value in the base Color space. Specifically, the updating of the lookup table includes: traversing the primitive in the lookup table corresponding to each color value of the base color space, and replacing the color value of the base color space with the color value of the color space redefined by the corresponding base color space.
The method for calculating the color value of the redefined base color space corresponding to the primitive is the same as the above method for calculating the color value of any target color space corresponding to the primitive, and is not repeated here.
And S208, changing the original color value of the primitive into the color value of the primitive corresponding to the target color space.
For graphics, according to the PDF1.7 specification, each color surface color value component of the graphics corresponding to the color space is recorded in a pre-press PDF file, and the color surface color value components of the graphics corresponding to the color space constitute color values of the graphics corresponding to the color space.
The color value of the graph corresponding to the target color space is set through an instruction SC, SC, SCN or SCN, and the format of the instruction is as follows:
c1 c2 c3 … cm scn/SCN/sc/SC,
where c1, c2, c3, …, cm is the color value component of each color plane of the target color space, m is the number of color planes of the target color space, and m is a positive integer.
For an image, each pixel point of the image is recorded in a PDF file before printing and corresponds to each color face color value component of the color space, the pixel point corresponds to each color face color value component of the color space to form a color value of the pixel corresponding to the color space, and the color value of the image corresponding to the color space comprises the color value of each pixel point of the image corresponding to the color space.
Changing the original color value of the image to a color value of the image corresponding to the target color space specifically includes: the original color value of each pixel of the image is changed to the color value of the pixel corresponding to the target color space.
In addition, if the primitive is an image, other color-related settings, such as a boundary range (Decode) for defining a color value boundary of the image, need to be modified.
For 7 kinds of gradually-changed primitives in the PDF1.7 specification, in addition to changing the original color value of the primitive to the color value of the primitive corresponding to the target color space, the color value of the BackGround color (BackGround) of the primitive may be replaced by converting the color value of the BackGround color (BackGround) to the color value in the target color space.
For different types of primitives, the modes of recording the color values of the primitives by the pre-printing PDF file are different, the color space and the color values of each type of primitive can be set by the pre-printing PDF file according to the PDF1.7 specification, and other settings related to colors, which are not repeated herein.
The above steps S205 to S208 are a feasible implementation manner for changing the color space and the color value of the primitive related to the first color plane in the PDF file before printing according to the ink conversion information, each primary color space and the corresponding target color space.
The embodiment of the invention provides a specific implementation mode of an ink conversion method, and the ink conversion method is explained in detail.
