Abstract
A hydrophobic material for asphalt pavement and a preparation method thereof. The hydrophobic material consists of the following raw materials in parts by weight: 100 parts of modified emulsified asphalt, 10-12 parts of 35% sodium acetate, 20 parts of zeolite powder, 10-12 parts of sodium methyl silicate and 3-4 parts of methyl silicone resin. The invention has the following effects: after the hydrophobic material is sprayed on the asphalt pavement, a hydrophobic layer is formed on the surface of the asphalt pavement, so that the contact angle between the asphalt pavement and an ice surface is increased, and the binding power between the asphalt pavement and the ice surface is reduced; the ice surface and the asphalt pavement can be separated and the freezing point can be reduced through stronger hydrophobic ice suppression capacity, so that the snow and ice can be actively melted; in addition, the zeolite powder can solve the problem of reduction of the road surface friction coefficient caused by the snow-melting agent, thereby ensuring that the vehicle can normally run in the frozen state of the road surface in winter. The zeolite powder is used for adsorbing the snow-melting agent, so that the effect of slowly releasing the snow-melting agent can be achieved, the snow-melting agent can be better stored, and the durability of the material can be prolonged.
Description
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of hydrophobic materials and preparation thereof, and particularly relates to a hydrophobic material for an asphalt pavement and a preparation method thereof.
Background
The road surface icing has obvious influence on the road traffic safety, and the previous research results show that: the hydrophobic capacity of the pavement is improved, the icing time of the pavement in cold weather can be delayed, the cohesive force between ice and the pavement is reduced, and therefore the deicing time is reduced. Because the phenomenon of snow accumulation and icing on the road surface in China in winter is common, the road surface adhesion coefficient is greatly reduced, and the anti-skid performance is greatly reduced, so that traffic accidents are easily caused. Therefore, the hydrophobic capacity of the pavement is improved, and the snow and ice melting effect of the pavement is improved.
At present, most of highway pavements in China still adopt asphalt pavements. When snow and ice are accumulated on the asphalt pavement, the conventional snow and ice removing methods such as spreading of a snow melting agent, mechanical ice removing and the like are generally adopted, but the methods have the defects of environmental pollution, poor pavement protection capability, low operation speed and the like, so that the aim of actively melting snow and ice cannot be fulfilled.
Disclosure of Invention
In order to solve the problems, the invention aims to provide a hydrophobic material for an asphalt pavement and a preparation method thereof.
In order to achieve the purpose, the asphalt pavement hydrophobic material provided by the invention comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight:
the methyl silicone resin adopts methyl vinyl MQ silicone resin or methyl hydrogen-containing MQ silicone resin.
The preparation method of the asphalt pavement hydrophobic material provided by the invention comprises the following steps in sequence:
1) weighing the raw materials in proportion, completely immersing zeolite powder in 35% sodium acetate serving as a snow-melting agent, uniformly mixing, standing for 24 hours, filtering, and drying a filtrate to prepare the slow-release snow-melting agent;
2) adding the slow-release snow-melting agent into modified emulsified asphalt serving as an adhesive and uniformly mixing to prepare modified emulsified asphalt containing the slow-release snow-melting agent;
3) and adding sodium methyl silicate and methyl silicone resin serving as hydrophobing agents into the modified emulsified asphalt containing the slow-release snow-melting agent, and uniformly mixing to obtain the asphalt pavement hydrophobic material.
The asphalt pavement hydrophobic material and the preparation method provided by the invention have the beneficial effects that:
after the hydrophobic material is sprayed on the asphalt pavement, a hydrophobic layer is formed on the surface of the asphalt pavement, so that the contact angle between the asphalt pavement and an ice surface is increased, and the binding power between the asphalt pavement and the ice surface is reduced; the ice surface and the asphalt pavement can be separated and the freezing point can be reduced through stronger hydrophobic ice suppression capacity, so that the snow and ice can be actively melted; in addition, the zeolite powder can solve the problem of reduction of the road surface friction coefficient caused by the snow-melting agent, thereby ensuring that the vehicle can normally run in the frozen state of the road surface in winter. Meanwhile, the emulsified asphalt spreader can be used for direct spraying, so that the operation is simple and convenient, the spraying efficiency is high, the environment is protected, the efficiency is high, and the energy consumption is low; the zeolite powder is used for adsorbing the snow-melting agent, so that the snow-melting agent can be slowly released and better stored, the durability of the material can be prolonged, and the material has higher economy, so that the material has wider application value in road engineering.
