Description

Method and device for bleaching teeth
Technical Field
The invention relates to the technical field of tooth whitening, in particular to a method and a device for bleaching teeth.
Background
Tooth bleaching refers to the chemical reaction of chemical oxidative bleaching drugs on the surface or inside of teeth to whiten the teeth. The bleaching drugs commonly used in the market at present are mainly mixtures containing hydrogen peroxide, and when whitening is performed, the hydrogen peroxide releases active oxygen or hydroxyl free radicals to crack coloring molecules containing unsaturated double bonds on teeth so as to realize the bleaching effect. However, since deep pigments of teeth are very persistent and difficult to remove, effective peroxides containAmount (in H)2O2Calculation) it is difficult to achieve a significant bleaching or bleaching effect in a short time if a certain solubility is not achieved; moreover, many documents indicate that too high a concentration of peroxide may cause side effects such as stimulation of gingival tissue or tooth sensitivity; in addition, it was confirmed that the bleaching effect was not very significant even by bleaching with hydrogen peroxide of a lower concentration repeatedly for a long time. Therefore, in clinical practice, in order to save medical resources and reduce discomfort of patients, the tooth whitening treatment time should be controlled within a suitable range.
Currently, commercially available tooth whitening techniques mainly use illumination or heating methods such as laser, Light Emitting Diode (LED), plasma arc, etc. as external energy to accelerate the decomposition of hydrogen peroxide, however, ultraviolet light, infrared light, etc. can promote tooth whitening effect and at the same time, cause excessive temperature increase in dental pulp tissue to damage teeth and cause allergy and discomfort. In addition, it is well known that ultraviolet light poses certain health risks to humans. The research shows that visible light (400nm-700nm) is a relatively good and safe activation light source at present, but the visible light illumination is only used as the activation light source and has no good whitening effect.

Compared with the prior art, the invention has the following beneficial effects:
(1) the whitening agent is activated by adopting a compound activation source to bleach teeth, wherein the compound activation source consists of halogen light and ultrasonic waves, firstly, the halogen light with the illuminance of 170000lux-290000lux and the wave band of 400-650nm has high-intensity cold light, and compared with the activation sources of infrared rays and ultraviolet rays, the whitening agent has little damage to human bodies and teeth; secondly, the inventor discovers in research that the ultrasonic wave is used as one of the activation sources of the whitening agent, the whitening agent can be quickly activated by utilizing the cavitation of the ultrasonic wave and the microjet formed during cavitation collapse, the phenomenon is particularly obvious for the activation effect of hydrogen peroxide in the whitening agent, and the whitening agent after being activated by the ultrasonic wave can quickly release free active oxygen (hydroxyl free radical OH and superoxide free radical HOO & lt- & gt), so that the activation reactivity of the whitening agent is greatly improved, and compared with a tooth whitening technology which only adopts illumination, the invention can more effectively promote the diffusion of the whitening agent and the active ingredients thereof in teeth, thereby accelerating the whitening process and shortening the treatment time;
moreover, the ultrasonic wave with the central frequency of 40 +/-1 KHZ is selected in a targeted manner, and the halogen light with the wavelength and the illuminance is combined, so that the optimal whitening effect can be realized, and the phenomenon that the tooth arch form and the tooth hard tissue structure are damaged due to the fact that the ultrasonic wave is emitted to whitening agent colloid or the temperature rise is generated on the surface of a tooth body can be avoided, therefore, compared with the prior art, the composite activation source can effectively improve the whitening activity of the whitening agent, promote the release of active ingredients of the whitening agent, and simultaneously improve the osmosis of the active ingredients in the tooth, so that the treatment time is shortened, and the excellent whitening effect is obtained;

(3) because the halogen light has the characteristic of strong penetrating power, in order to further improve the safety of the invention, the ultraviolet ray and the temperature are filtered by the optical lens before the halogen light irradiates to the whitening agent, and a cold light source with the wavelength of 480nm-520nm is formed, thereby avoiding the harm of the ultraviolet ray, the infrared ray and the like to teeth and human bodies, and ensuring the effectiveness of the light activation source in combination with the LED light;
(4) in order to further ensure the whitening effect of the invention, the whitening agent with the hydrogen peroxide content of 10-35 wt% can be selected, and the whitening agent contains peroxidase for catalyzing the hydrogen peroxide, because the hydrogen peroxide under the hydrogen peroxide content can achieve obvious decoloration or bleaching effect, and if the whitening agent contains the peroxidase, the whitening effect of the invention can be greatly improved, because the ultrasonic wave in the composite activation source can be used as an elastic mechanical wave to influence the catalytic activity of the enzyme to a certain extent, the influence difference of the ultrasonic waves with different frequencies on the activity of different enzymes is obvious, however, the change of the ultrasonic wave parameters can not only improve the catalytic activity of the enzyme, but also can possibly cause partial enzyme inactivation, in the invention, the inventor finds out through multiple experiments that the ultrasonic wave with the central frequency of 40 +/-1 KHZ can promote the hydrogen peroxide substrate to rapidly enter the catalytic part of the peroxidase and the product to enter a medium, thereby improving the catalytic efficiency of the enzyme, and the shock wave generated by the cavitation of the ultrasonic wave can change the conformation of enzyme molecules, thereby improving the process of enzymatic reaction and greatly improving the catalytic activity of peroxidase; in addition, the research of the inventor shows that the whitening technology can control the surface temperature to be 9-15 ℃, and the optimal whitening effect can be obtained within a safe range by whitening for 20-35min under the condition.

DELTA.E) and H of CIE Lab in the 3 groups were compared2O2Diffusion of (2). The results are shown in Table 2.
Table 2: peroxide concentration (μ g/ml) diffused through enamel disc (1.0mm) for three control groups at different duration of treatment
As can be seen from tables 1 and 2, there was no significant difference in Δ E at 5 minutes for the three groups, but the Δ E for GEL/LT and GEL/LT/US was statistically significantly higher than GEL at 15 minutes, while GEL/LT/US was significantly higher than GEL and GEL/LT at 30, 45 and 60 minutes. In the group of GEL/LT/US 30 minutes were required for Δ E to reach 17.5, corresponding to 10 shade changes (from A4 to A2), while the group of GEL/LT took 60 minutes (Table 1). At 5 and 10 minutes, diffusion of peroxide through the enamel is significantly higher in GEL/LT/US than in GEL and GEL/LT. Peroxide diffusion was significantly higher for GEL/LT and GEL/LT/US over the entire experiment period than for GEL (Table 2).
Therefore, the ultrasonic-assisted enhanced light (namely, the composite activation source) provided by the invention is beneficial to enhancing the whitening effect of teeth and promoting the H of in-vitro enamel2O2Spreading, while reducing the duration of treatment for tooth whitening can potentially reduce adverse effects and improve patient comfort.
The above description is only for the specific embodiments of the present invention, but the scope of the present invention is not limited thereto, and any changes or substitutions that can be easily conceived by those skilled in the art within the technical scope of the present invention are included in the scope of the present invention. Therefore, the protection scope of the present invention shall be subject to the protection scope of the appended claims.
