Background
With the rise of the security market, the television wall attracts more and more attention, and compared with the traditional small computer monitor, the television wall can play multiple paths of videos. A video wall is an oversized display device formed by splicing a plurality of televisions or displays.
In the related art, a system for video wall to play video mainly includes: a Television wall Client (TVMC), a Television wall Server (TVMS), a decoder, a Video storage Server, a Video on Demand Server (VOD), and a Television wall. The working process of the system is as follows: the TVMC acquires control information of video data of the video to be played from the VRM, and acquires the video data of the video to be played from the VOD based on address information in the control information. Next, the TVMC acquires decoder indication information such as an Internet Protocol (IP) address of the decoder or a port number to which the decoder and the TVMC are connected from the TVMS. Then, the TVMC stores the acquired video data in a local buffer, copies the acquired video data to a copy, and sends the copy to the decoder indicated by the decoder indication information. The decoder stores the video data sent by the TVMC to the local buffer area, finally, the TVMC plays the video based on the video data in the local buffer area, the decoder decodes the video data in the local buffer area and sends the decoded video data to the television wall, and therefore the television wall plays the video to be played. The address information of the video to be played comprises a storage path of the video data in the VOD.
In the process of implementing the invention, the inventor finds that the prior art has at least the following problems: because the TVMC sends the video data to the decoder, the decoder sends the video data to the television wall, so that the television wall can be influenced by the working state of the TVMC when playing the video, and when the working state of the TVMC is not good, the picture quality of the video to be played by the television wall is poor.

The decoder can directly acquire the video data from the video-on-demand server based on the control information sent by the video wall server, and does not need to acquire the video data from the video wall client, so that the influence of the working state of the video wall client on video playing of the video wall is avoided, and the picture quality of the video to be played by the video wall is improved. And because the television wall server records the control information, the follow-up query of the control information of the video data is more convenient.
In this embodiment of the present invention, a video wall client may directly send control information of video data of a video to be played to a decoder, or may forward the control information of the video data of the video to be played to the decoder through a video wall server, and now, taking an example that the video wall client forwards the control information of the video data of the video to be played to the decoder through the video wall server, a video playing method provided in an embodiment of the present invention is described, as shown in fig. 5, the method may include:
step 401, the video wall client obtains control information of video data of a video to be played.
Wherein the control information includes a storage path of the video data in the vod server.
The control information may further include play indication information, which may be used to indicate a play position of the video to be played on the video wall, for example.
In this step, the video-on-demand server may send a control information request to the video-on-demand server, where the control information request carries indication information of a video to be played, and after receiving the control information request, the video-on-demand server obtains, from a pre-stored preset corresponding relationship, control information of video data corresponding to the indication information of the video to be played, where the corresponding relationship is used to record a corresponding relationship between the indication information of each video and the control information of the video data, and the indication information of the video is used to indicate a corresponding video. For example, the indication information of the video may be a video identifier, a monitoring point number, or time information corresponding to the video. For example, the video identifier may be a video number of a video, the number of the monitoring point may be a number of a shooting location of the video, and the time information corresponding to the video may be a shooting time of the video.
Table 1 exemplarily shows a correspondence relationship of indication information of a video and a storage path in control information of video data. Assuming that the indication information of the video is a video identifier and the video identifier is a video number of the video in table 1, referring to table 1, when the indication information of the video to be played is 001, the storage path of the corresponding video data is rtsp://10.64.60.162:6304/file/cvr://10.64.60.162:6300/0/sessions/s 1.
TABLE 1

And the video-on-demand server acquires the control information of the storage path comprising the video data according to the indication information of the video to be played carried in the control information request, and then sends the control information to the television wall client.
Step 402, the video wall client sends the control information to the video wall server.
And step 403, the video wall server sends the control information to the decoder and records the control information.
The control information of the video data of the video to be played may be used to instruct the decoder to retrieve the video data from the vod server.
And the video wall server transparently transmits the control information to the decoder and records the control information, thereby facilitating the later inquiry of the control information of the video data. In the embodiment of the invention, the television wall server can record the control information in the specified file.
Step 404, the decoder obtains the video data from the vod server based on the storage path in the control information.
In the embodiment of the invention, the decoder can directly acquire the video data from the video-on-demand server based on the storage path sent by the video wall server, and does not need to acquire the video data from the video wall client, so that the influence of the working state of the video wall client on the video wall is avoided when the video is played, and the picture quality of the video to be played by the video wall is improved. Meanwhile, in the related art, as the video wall client sends video data to the decoder, the video wall client needs to be started all the time, and the power consumption of the video wall client is large, so that resource waste is caused. In the embodiment of the invention, the decoder can directly acquire the video data from the video-on-demand server based on the storage path in the control information, so that the television wall client can be closed at any time without being opened all the time, thereby avoiding resource waste.
Step 405, the decoder outputs the video data and control information to the video wall.
The decoder outputs the video data and the control information to the television wall so that the television wall plays the video to be played based on the control information.
The process of outputting the video data to the video wall by the decoder is shown in fig. 6, and may include:
step 4051, the decoder decodes the video data to obtain processed video data.
Step 4052, the decoder outputs the processed video data to the video wall.
And step 406, the video wall client acquires the video data from the video-on-demand server based on the storage path in the control information.
Step 407, the video wall client plays the video to be played based on the video data.
In this step, the video wall client decodes the video data to obtain processed video data, and then plays the video according to the processed video data.
It should be noted that step 407 and step 405 are not in sequence, and may be performed simultaneously.
In summary, in the video playing method provided in the embodiment of the present invention, the decoder receives the control information of the video data of the video to be played, which is sent by the video wall client, acquires the video data from the vod server based on the storage path in the control information, and outputs the video data and the control information to the video wall. The decoder can directly acquire the video data from the video-on-demand server based on the storage path, and does not need to acquire the video data from the video wall client, so that the influence of the working state of the video wall client on video playing of the video wall is avoided, and the picture quality of the video to be played by the video wall is improved. In addition, the video wall server records the control information, so that the follow-up query of the control information of the video data is more convenient.

step 501, the video wall client obtains control information of video data of a video to be played.
Wherein the control information includes a storage path of the video data in the vod server.
The control information may further include play indication information, which may be used to indicate a play position of the video to be played on the video wall, for example.
Step 501 may refer to step 401.
Step 502, the video wall client sends the control information to the video wall server.
Step 503, the video wall server sends the control information to the decoder, and records the control information.
The video wall server sends the control information to the decoder and records the control information, so that the control information of the video data can be conveniently inquired in the later stage. In the embodiment of the invention, the video wall server can record the control information of the video data of the video to be played in the specified file.
Step 504, the decoder obtains the video data from the vod server based on the storage path in the control information.
Because the decoder can directly acquire the video data from the video-on-demand server based on the storage path in the control information, the television wall client can be closed at any time without being opened all the time, thereby avoiding resource waste.
Step 505, the decoder outputs the video data and the control information to the video wall.
The decoder outputs the video data and the control information to the television wall so that the television wall plays the video to be played based on the control information.
Step 505 may refer to step 405.
Step 506, the video wall client obtains the video data from the vod server based on the storage path in the control information.
And step 507, the video wall client plays the video to be played based on the video data.
And step 508, the video wall client sends a playing progress acquiring request of the video to be played to the video wall server.
In the embodiment of the invention, under the condition that the decoding speed of the decoder is not equal to that of the video wall client, in order to synchronize the video played by the video wall client and the video played by the video wall, in the process of playing the video, the video wall client can also send the playing progress acquiring request of the video to be played to the video wall server, so that the playing progress acquiring request of the video to be played is sent to the decoder through the video wall server, and then the decoder acquires the playing progress information of the video to be played based on the playing progress acquiring request and sends the playing progress information of the video to be played to the video wall client, so that the video wall client can conveniently adjust the playing progress of the video wall client.
It should be noted that the video wall client may forward the request for obtaining the playing progress of the video to be played to the decoder through the video wall server, or may directly send the request for obtaining the playing progress of the video to be played to the decoder, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present invention.
In step 509, the video wall server receives a request for acquiring the playing progress of the video to be played sent by the video wall client, and records the request for acquiring the playing progress.
The video wall server receives a playing progress acquiring request of a video to be played, which is sent by the video wall client, and records the playing progress acquiring request, so that the playing progress acquiring request can be conveniently inquired subsequently, and the video playing information of the video to be played can be obtained.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the video wall server may record the request for obtaining the playing progress in a specified file. The designated file is the same file as the designated file where the control information is located.
And step 510, the video wall server sends a playing progress acquisition request to a decoder.
And 511, the decoder acquires the playing progress information of the video to be played based on the playing progress acquisition request. The playing progress information of the video to be played is used for indicating the playing progress of the video to be played by the decoder.
For example, the decoder may obtain the playing progress information of the video to be played in the following 3 ways:
in the first way, the decoder may obtain a frame number of a currently played video frame, and determine the playing progress information of the video to be played based on the obtained frame number. For example, the frame number of the currently played video frame obtained by the decoder is 011, and after the decoder obtains the playing progress information, the decoder needs to send the playing progress information to the tv wall client through the tv wall server, so to improve the accuracy of the tv wall client in adjusting the playing progress of the tv wall client, the decoder may process the obtained frame number, for example, the frame number of the frame number 011 obtained by the decoder is 012, and then the decoder may determine the frame number 012 as the playing progress information of the video to be played.
In the second manner, the decoder may obtain a frame number of a previous video frame and a frame number of a next video frame of a currently played video frame, and determine the playing progress information of the video to be played based on the obtained frame number of the previous video frame and the obtained frame number of the next video frame.
For example, the frame number of the currently played video frame is 011, the frame number of the previous video frame is 010, and the frame number of the next video frame is 012, and after the decoder acquires the playing progress information, the decoder needs to send the playing progress information to the tv wall client through the tv wall server, so that in order to improve the accuracy of the tv wall client in adjusting the playing progress of the tv wall client, the decoder can process the two acquired frame numbers, and determine the processed frame number as the playing progress information of the video to be played. For example, the decoder may determine the frame number 011 after the frame number 010 and the frame number 013 after the frame number 012 as the play progress information of the video to be played.
In the third mode, the decoder may obtain the playing time length of the video to be played, and determine the playing progress information of the video to be played based on the obtained playing time length. Similarly, in order to improve the accuracy of the television wall client for adjusting the playing progress of the television wall client, the decoder may process the acquired playing time, and determine the processed playing time as the playing progress information of the video to be played. For example, if the playing time duration obtained by the decoder is 10 minutes, the decoder may determine 10 minutes and 30 seconds as the playing progress information of the video to be played.
And step 512, the decoder sends the playing progress information of the video to be played to the video wall server.
The decoder sends the playing progress information of the video to be played to the television wall server, and the playing progress information of the video to be played is sent to the television wall client through the television wall server.
It should be noted that the decoder may forward the playing progress information of the video to be played to the video wall client through the video wall server, or may directly send the playing progress information of the video to be played to the video wall client, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present invention.
And 513, the video wall server receives the playing progress information of the video to be played sent by the decoder, and records the playing progress information.
The video wall server receives the playing progress information of the video to be played sent by the decoder and records the playing progress information, so that the playing progress information can be conveniently inquired subsequently, and the related information of the playing progress of the video to be played can be obtained.
For example, the tv wall server may record the playing progress information in a designated file. The designated file is the same as the designated file where the control information and the playing progress acquisition request are located. By inquiring the specified file, more video playing information about the video to be played can be obtained.
And step 514, the television wall server sends the playing progress information to the television wall client.
Step 515, when the first playing progress of the video to be played by the tv wall client is not equal to the playing progress indicated by the playing progress information, the tv wall client adjusts the first playing progress to the playing progress indicated by the playing progress information.
The mode of determining the first playing progress of the video to be played by the video wall client and the mode of determining the playing progress information of the video to be played by the decoder can be the same. For example, the video wall client may determine the first playing progress of playing the video to be played in the following two 3 ways.
In the first mode, the video wall client may obtain a play frame number of a video frame of a currently played video, and determine the obtained frame number as a first play progress of playing the video to be played.
In the second mode, the video wall client may obtain a frame number of a previous video frame and a frame number of a next video frame of a currently played video frame, and determine a first playing progress for playing the video to be played based on the obtained frame number of the previous video frame and the obtained frame number of the next video frame.
In a third manner, the video wall client may obtain a playing time length of the video to be played, and determine a first playing progress of playing the video to be played based on the obtained playing time length.
After determining a first playing progress of playing the video to be played, the video wall client compares the first playing progress with the playing progress indicated by the playing progress information. When the first playing progress of the video to be played by the television wall client is not equal to the playing progress indicated by the playing progress information, the television wall client adjusts the first playing progress to the playing progress indicated by the playing progress information.
For example, the decoder determines the playing progress information of the video to be played based on the frame number of the currently played video frame, the video wall client determines the first playing progress of the video to be played based on the frame number of the currently played video frame, and if the frame number of the currently played video frame acquired by the video wall client is 08 and the frame number in the playing progress information received by the video wall client and sent by the decoder is 012, the video wall client may adjust the currently played video frame to the video frame with the frame number of 012 in order to ensure that the video wall client and the video wall play synchronously.
For another example, the decoder determines the playing progress information of the video to be played based on the frame number of the previous video frame and the frame number of the next video frame of the currently played video frame, and the video wall client determines the first playing progress of the video to be played based on the frame number of the currently played video frame, assuming that the frame number of the currently played video frame acquired by the video wall client is 08, and the frame numbers in the playing progress information received by the video wall client and sent by the decoder are 011 and 013, then, in order to ensure that the video wall client and the video wall play are synchronized, the video wall client may adjust the currently played video frame to the video frame with the frame number of 012.
For another example, the decoder determines the playing progress information of the video to be played based on the playing time of the video to be played, the video wall client determines the first playing progress based on the playing time of the video to be played, and if the playing time of the video to be played acquired by the video wall client is 8 minutes and the playing time in the playing progress information sent by the decoder and received by the video wall client is 10 minutes and 30 seconds, the video wall client may adjust the current playing time to 10 minutes and 30 seconds and start playing the video at 10 minutes and 30 seconds in order to ensure that the video wall client and the video wall are played synchronously.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the decoder and the video wall client may also determine the playing progress based on the progress information indicated by the playing progress bar. For example, assuming that the playing progress of the video to be played by the decoder (i.e., the playing progress indicated by the playing progress information) is 50%, and the first playing progress of the video to be played by the video wall client is 48%, since the first playing progress of the video to be played by the video wall client is not equal to the playing progress indicated by the playing progress information, the television wall client may adjust the first playing progress to the playing progress indicated by the playing progress information, and further synchronize the video played by the video wall client with the video played by the video wall.
In the related art, when the decoding speed of the video wall client is not equal to the decoding speed of the decoder, for example, when the decoding speed of the video wall client is greater than the decoding speed of the decoder, the speed of the video to be played by the video wall client is greater than the speed of the video to be played by the video wall, and a phenomenon that the video wall client continues to acquire video data from the video-on-demand server and copies the video data to the decoder, but the decoder does not receive the video data sent by the video wall client may occur, so that the video data is lost, a video skip second phenomenon occurs, and the video played by the video wall client is not synchronized with the video played by the video wall. In the embodiment of the invention, even if the decoding speed of the video wall client is greater than that of the decoder, the video wall client can adjust the first playing progress to the playing progress of the video to be played by the decoder, so that the synchronization between the video played by the video wall client and the video played by the video wall can be ensured.
It should be noted that, in the embodiment of the present invention, the decoder may also obtain, through the video wall server, the playing progress information of the video to be played by the video wall client, where the playing progress information is used to indicate the playing progress of the video to be played by the video wall client. When the second playing progress of the video to be played by the decoder is not equal to the playing progress of the video to be played by the television wall client, the decoder can adjust the second playing progress to the playing progress of the video to be played by the television wall client, so that the synchronization between the video played by the television wall client and the video played by the television wall is ensured. For example, when the decoding speed of the decoder is higher than that of the video wall client, the speed of playing the video to be played by the video wall is higher than that of playing the video to be played by the video wall client, and a phenomenon that a local buffer area of the decoder is empty may occur in the related art, which may finally cause the video wall to play suddenly in advance of the video wall client for a period of time to generate a black screen, and the video data sent by the video wall client is continuously played when the video data is received again. In the embodiment of the invention, even if the decoding speed of the decoder is higher than that of the television wall client, the second playing progress can be adjusted to be the playing progress of the video to be played by the television wall client by the decoder, so that the phenomenon of black screen of the television wall can be avoided, and the synchronization between the video played by the television wall client and the video played by the television wall is ensured.
In summary, in the video playing method provided by the embodiment of the present invention, the decoder obtains the video data from the vod server based on the storage path in the control information, and then outputs the video data and the control information to the tv wall, since the decoder can directly obtain the video data from the vod server based on the storage path in the control information, without obtaining the video data from the tv wall client, therefore, the influence of the working state of the television wall client on the video playing of the television wall is avoided, therefore, the picture quality of the video to be played by the television wall is improved, and when the first playing progress of the video to be played by the television wall client is not equal to the playing progress indicated by the playing progress information, the video wall client can adjust the playing progress of the local playing video to be played according to the current playing progress of the decoder, and further enables the video wall client to play the video and the video wall to play the video synchronously.
Fig. 8 is another video playing method provided on the basis of fig. 5 in the embodiment of the present invention, by which a decoder can also control the playing state of a video to be played according to a video playing instruction sent by a video wall client, and a video wall server can also store control information and a playing progress instruction. As shown in fig. 8, the method may include:
step 601, the video wall client acquires control information of video data of a video to be played.
Wherein the control information includes a storage path of the video data in the vod server.
The control information may further include play indication information, which may be used to indicate a play position of the video to be played on the video wall, for example.
Step 601 may refer to step 401.
Step 602, the video wall client sends the control information to the video wall server.
Step 603, the video wall server sends the control information to the decoder and records the control information.
And the video wall server transparently transmits the control information to the decoder and records the control information, thereby facilitating the later inquiry of the control information of the video data. In the embodiment of the invention, the television wall server can record the control information into the specified file.
Step 604, the decoder obtains the video data from the vod server based on the storage path in the control information.
The decoder does not need to acquire video data from the television wall client, so that the influence of the working state of the television wall client on video playing of the television wall is avoided, and the picture quality of the video to be played by the television wall is improved. Meanwhile, the decoder can directly acquire the video data from the video-on-demand server based on the storage path in the control information, so that the television wall client can be closed at any time without being opened all the time, and resource waste is avoided.
Step 605, the decoder outputs the video data and the control information to the video wall.
The decoder outputs the video data and the control information to the television wall so that the television wall plays the video to be played based on the control information.
Step 605 may refer to step 405.
And step 606, the video wall client acquires the video data from the video-on-demand server based on the storage path in the control information.
Step 607, the video wall client plays the video to be played based on the video data.
Step 608, in the process of playing the video to be played on the video wall, the video wall client sends the video playing instruction for the video to be played to the video wall server.
The video playing instruction is used for instructing the decoder to control the playing state of the video to be played. For example, the video playing instruction may be a playing instruction, a pause instruction, a close instruction, a positioning instruction, a fast forward instruction, a fast rewind instruction, or the like.
It should be noted that the video wall client may forward the video playing instruction for the video to be played to the decoder through the video wall server, or may directly send the video playing instruction for the video to be played to the decoder, which is not limited in the embodiment of the present invention.
And step 609, the video wall server receives a video playing instruction aiming at the video to be played and sent by the video wall client, and records the video playing instruction.
The video wall server receives a video playing instruction aiming at the video to be played and sent by the video wall client, and records the video playing instruction, so that the video playing instruction can be conveniently inquired subsequently, and the video playing information of the video to be played can be obtained.
In the embodiment of the invention, the video wall server can record the video playing instruction in the specified file. The designated file is the same as the designated file where the control information of the video data of the video to be played and the playing progress acquisition request of the video to be played are located.
In the embodiment of the present invention, since more video playing information related to the video to be played passes through the video wall server, for example, the video playing information may be: the video playing information can be stored by the video wall server aiming at the video playing instruction of the video to be played, the control information of the video data of the video to be played and the playing progress acquiring request of the video to be played, so that the video playing information can be directly acquired subsequently when needed, and the video can be played again.
And step 610, the video wall server sends the video playing instruction to a decoder.
In this step, the video wall server transparently transmits the video playing command to the decoder.
Step 611, the decoder controls the playing status of the video to be played based on the video playing instruction.
For example, assuming that the video playing instruction is a pause instruction, the decoder may control the video to be played to be in a pause state based on the pause instruction.
In summary, in the video playing method provided in this embodiment, the video wall server receives the control information of the video data of the video to be played, which is sent by the video wall client, sends the control information to the decoder, and records the control information, so that the decoder obtains the video data from the vod server based on the storage path in the control information. The decoder can directly acquire the video data from the video-on-demand server based on the storage path without acquiring the video data from the video wall client, so that the influence of the working state of the video wall client on video playing of the video wall is avoided, and the picture quality of the video to be played by the video wall is improved. In addition, the decoder can control the playing state of the video to be played based on the video playing instruction sent by the television wall client, so that the control of the video to be played is realized.
