Detailed Description
The core of the invention is to provide a control method, a control device, a control system and a computer readable storage medium for a hard disk status light under a PCH, which are used for realizing the control of the hard disk status light under the PCH on the premise of not depending on a Raid mode.
The technical solutions in the embodiments of the present invention will be clearly and completely described below with reference to the drawings in the embodiments of the present invention, and it is obvious that the described embodiments are only a part of the embodiments of the present invention, and not all of the embodiments. All other embodiments, which can be derived by a person skilled in the art from the embodiments given herein without making any creative effort, shall fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
Fig. 1 is a flowchart of a method for controlling a status light of a hard disk under a PCH according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1, based on a system controller, the method for controlling a hard disk status light in a PCH provided by the embodiment of the present invention includes:
s101: and acquiring the corresponding relation between the disk identifier of the hard disk stored in the PCH and the slot position information and the state information of each hard disk.
In order to realize the control of the hard disk state lamp under the PCH independent of the Raid mode, firstly, the corresponding relation between the hard disk drive letter and the slot position information and the state information of each hard disk are acquired from the PCH, the former is used for positioning the slot position where the hard disk is located to control the hard disk state lamp corresponding to the slot position, and the latter is used for providing judgment basis for the control scheme of the hard disk state lamp.
The hard disk is connected with the PCH after being accessed into the hard disk slot position, the upper operating system distributes disk symbols such as sda, sdaa and the like for the hard disk according to the identification sequence after identifying the connection of the hard disk, and the PCH stores the disk symbols distributed for the hard disk and also stores slot position information such as slot position numbers corresponding to the hard disk. The method is characterized in that the PCH is equivalent to grasp the corresponding relation between the slot position and the drive letter of the hard disk, the upper operating system issues a control command to the hard disk through the drive letter, and the PCH executes the control command to the hard disk based on the corresponding relation between the slot position and the drive letter of the hard disk.
However, different from other hard disk connectors (such as SAS cards), the SATA controller integrated inside the PCH cannot support control of corresponding hard disk status lights (including hard disk positioning lights, warning lights, and the like), and control of the hard disk status lights can be realized depending on the Raid mode in the PCH, for example, an AHCI mode (direct mode) which is one of default modes of the PCH when being started does not support control of the hard disk status lights, thereby greatly limiting the application scenarios of the SATA hard disk on the PCH in practice.
Therefore, it is necessary to implement control of the hard disk status light in the PCH through another path. The kernel only depends on the sequence of identifying the hard disk when distributing the disk identifier, and different disk identifiers can be distributed to the hard disks in the same slot position every time of restarting, so that the basis for realizing the control scheme is that an execution main body needs to know the corresponding relation between the disk identifier of the hard disk and the slot position of the hard disk. It should be noted that the execution subject "system controller" in the embodiment of the present invention preferably employs a controller for mounting an upper operating system in a system, and may also be an additional controller that needs to acquire the drive letter information allocated to the hard disk from the upper operating system.
S102: and generating a control command for the hard disk status lamp according to the corresponding relation between the hard disk drive identifier and the slot position information and the status information of each hard disk.
The method comprises the steps of monitoring the hard disks through the PCH, and generating control commands for the hard disk status lamps corresponding to the hard disks based on the corresponding relation between preset hard disk status information and lighting rules of the corresponding hard disk status lamps. Because the control of the hard disk state lamp can not be carried out through the PCH, the slot positions are distinguished through the corresponding relation between the hard disk drive symbols and the slot position information, and a control command of the hard disk state lamp corresponding to the slot positions is generated.
Specifically, the hard disk status lights may include a first status light for indicating that the hard disk of the corresponding slot is in place, a second status light for indicating that the hard disk of the corresponding slot is operating normally, and a third status light for indicating that the hard disk of the corresponding slot is operating abnormally. Three kinds of hard disk state lamps can be distinguished through the colour of characters or lamp body, and for example first state lamp is blue, and second state lamp is green, and the third state lamp is red.
When the slot position is empty, namely a hard disk is not accessed, the control command points to that the three hard disk status lamps corresponding to the slot position are all in an off state; when the slot position is accessed to the hard disk and the hard disk normally runs, the control command points to the first status lamp and the second status lamp corresponding to the slot position to be turned on, and the third status lamp is turned off; when the slot position is accessed to the hard disk but the hard disk is abnormal, the control command points to the first status lamp and the third status lamp corresponding to the slot position to be turned on, and the second status lamp is turned off.
It should be noted that, when the slot is empty, the slot information of the slot has no corresponding drive letter, and then the hard disk status light corresponding to the slot and indicating that the hard disk is not in place is directly controlled to be turned on (if any) or all the hard disk status lights corresponding to the slot are controlled to be turned off.
S103: and sending the control command to the BMC so that the BMC controls the on and off of each hard disk status lamp.
The BMC (Baseboard Management Controller) is connected to a CPLD (Complex Programmable Logic Device), and the CPLD is connected to a hard disk status light on a hard disk backplane. After receiving the control command, the BMC can control the hard disk state lamps corresponding to the slots to be turned on and off through the CPLD.
According to the control method of the hard disk state lamp under the PCH provided by the embodiment of the invention, the system controller firstly acquires the corresponding relation between the hard disk drive symbol and the slot position information stored in the PCH and the state information of each hard disk, so that the system controller can accurately control the hard disk state lamp, then generates the control command of the hard disk state lamp according to the corresponding relation between the hard disk drive symbol and the slot position information and the state information of each hard disk, and sends the control command to the BMC, so that the BMC controls the on and off of each hard disk state lamp, and the control of the hard disk state lamp corresponding to the hard disk under the PCH can be realized without the PCH, so that the control of the hard disk state lamp can be accurately realized no matter what mode the PCH is in, and the limitation of the control of the hard disk state lamp under the PCH is eliminated.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a specific implementation manner of step S101 in fig. 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention.
On the basis of the foregoing embodiment, in the method for controlling a status light of a hard disk under PCH according to an embodiment of the present invention, step S101 specifically includes:
s201: and acquiring the corresponding relation between the hard disk drive identifier stored in the PCH and the identification information of the hard disk and the state information of each hard disk through the ATA signal line or the SES signal line.
The system controller is connected with the PCH through an ATA signal wire and/or an SES signal wire, and the corresponding relation between the hard disk drive identifier stored in the PCH and the identification information of the hard disk and the state information of each hard disk can be obtained through the ATA signal wire or the SES signal wire.
The identification information of the hard disk comprises at least one of a Serial Number (SN) of the hard disk, manufacturer information of the hard disk and capacity information of the hard disk.
S202: and acquiring the corresponding relation between the slot position information stored in the PCH and the identification information of the hard disk by using the BMC.
The BMC is connected with the PCH through an SMlink signal line, and can acquire the corresponding relation between the slot position information stored in the PCH and the identification information of the hard disk through the SMlink signal line.
Specifically, the BMC is used for initializing information of each hard disk through the BIOS to obtain a corresponding relation between slot position information and identification information of the hard disk.
S203: and determining the corresponding relation between the hard disk drive identifier and the slot position information based on the identification information of the hard disk.
The system controller is connected with the BMC through the IPMI signal line, the corresponding relation between the slot position information in the BMC and the identification information of the hard disk is obtained through the IPMI signal line, and the corresponding relation between the hard disk drive identifier and the identification information of the hard disk is obtained by combining the corresponding relation between the hard disk drive identifier and the identification information of the hard disk.
Fig. 3 is a flowchart of another method for controlling a status light of a hard disk in a PCH according to an embodiment of the present invention.
On the basis of the above embodiment, the method for controlling a hard disk status light in a PCH according to the embodiment of the present invention further includes:
s301: and obtaining the hard disk in-place information corresponding to the slot position information by utilizing the CPLD communication between the BMC and the hard disk backboard.
Correspondingly, step S102 specifically includes:
s302: and generating a control command for the hard disk status lamp according to the corresponding relation between the hard disk drive identifier and the slot position information, the status information of each hard disk and the hard disk in-place information.
The scheme provided by the embodiment is suitable for the situation that each hard disk of the access slot position is in a normal running state or in a recognizable abnormal state, but when the hard disk access slot position is in an abnormal connection state, the hard disk cannot be recognized only through the PCH, namely, the state information of the hard disk cannot be obtained only from the PCH.
Therefore, the BMC and the CPLD are required to communicate to obtain the in-place information of the hard disk, compare the in-place information of the hard disk with the state information of the hard disk, and when a certain hard disk is in place but has no state information, the hard disk is considered to be in an abnormal connection state when being accessed to the slot, and the hard disk state light for indicating that the hard disk of the corresponding slot is in place and the hard disk state light for indicating that the hard disk of the corresponding slot is in abnormal operation need to be controlled to be turned on.
On the basis of the above detailed description of the various embodiments corresponding to the control method for the hard disk status light under the PCH, the invention also discloses a control device, equipment and a computer readable storage medium for the hard disk status light under the PCH corresponding to the above method.
