Description

Article with air purification module
Technical Field
The invention relates to an article, in particular a toy or a pillow, having an air cleaning module.
Background
In order to purify indoor air, an air purification apparatus is known which is installed as a floor-standing apparatus in a room and which purifies the indoor air. A disadvantage of such a device is that all the air present in the room must be purified. Especially for large spaces, this continues for a longer time after the device is switched on until purified air is obtained in the space. The delivered power of such air cleaning devices must be relatively high for keeping the time until the cleaned air is obtained small. In order to avoid the sensation of ventilation, the blower must be dimensioned correspondingly large and the air outlet should be designed correspondingly large.
Disclosure of Invention
The object of the present invention is to provide an article which avoids the disadvantages of the prior art.
The present invention provides an article having an air purification module rather than an air purification apparatus. The air purification module is disposed in an article, such as a toy or pillow. The article can be disposed adjacent to an area requiring breathing air. Especially if the air purification module is arranged in a toy, pillow or the like for children, the purified breathing air can be provided directly to the child at the place where the breathing air is needed. This eliminates the need to purge the entire surrounding space of air. Thereby, the air purification module can be constructed small and compact. The air cleaning module is designed here as a module separate from the toy or pillow and is arranged in the receiving space of the article. The air cleaning module can be arranged in various toys, pillows or the like by being designed as a module, in particular with its own housing. This enables versatile use of the air purification module.
The air purification module has at least one suction opening, at least one blower, at least one filter and at least one air outlet opening, the "module" here refers to an independent structural unit, the individual components of the module are held against one another by the module itself, the air purification module also has a functional capacity without being arranged in the receiving chamber of the article, no special requirements are therefore made to the receiving chamber of the article with regard to tightness etc. all flow guides (str ö mungsf ü hred) of the air purification module, which guide the air from the at least one suction opening to the at least one air outlet opening, are formed by the air purification module itself and not by the article.
The outer shell of the article is advantageously at least partially breathable. Preferably, the air cleaning module draws ambient air through the housing of the article and blows cleaned air through the housing of the article. In order to ensure a sufficiently high air suction, it can also be provided that the air-permeable part of the housing is formed by a grid or the like, in particular in the region of the suction opening and/or the exhaust opening.
The housing is preferably at least partially made of a soft material (flexiel). the housing can be made of cloth, in particular fabric or a breathable foam material, for example, in this case, the article is accepted by a child as a toy or pillow and is not recognized (wahrnehmen) as an air cleaning device.
The air cleaning module advantageously has a housing which is arranged in the receiving space. At least one filter, at least one blower, at least one energy supply unit for the blower and at least one control unit are advantageously arranged in the housing. Preferably, all components of the air purification module are arranged inside the housing of the air purification module, with the exception of possible operating elements.
The housing has in particular a suction opening and a gas outlet opening (Luftaustritts ö ffnung.) in addition to the suction opening and the gas outlet opening, the housing is preferably constructed in a closed manner with respect to the environment.
In a preferred embodiment, the air cleaning module has an interface for charging the energy supply unit. The charging of the energy supply unit can preferably take place via a conventional interface, preferably via a USB interface. The interface may advantageously be accessed through an inlet in the housing.
The filter is advantageously arranged in the filter receiving chamber. The filter receiving chamber is configured in the housing. The filter receiving chamber is advantageously closed by a releasable cover. Thereby, the filter can be easily cleaned and/or replaced. The lid is advantageously accessible through said inlet. In order to clean and replace the filter, it is therefore only necessary to open the inlet and remove the lid. Thus, the air purification module does not have to be removed (Ausbau) from the article in order to clean and/or replace the filter.
A simple preferred embodiment results if at least one air outlet is arranged in the cover. The housing advantageously has a circumferential wall and two end faces lying opposite one another. This results in a simple, compact construction of the air cleaning module. The circumferential wall preferably defines a filter receiving chamber. The filter is preferably a planar circular filter. Advantageously, a suction opening is formed in the first end face and an air outlet opening is formed in the second end face. Since the suction opening and the air outlet are opposite one another, an advantageous installation position results. If, for example, the article is a cloth animal toy such as a teddy or the like, air suction can take place through the back of the cloth animal toy and purified air can be blown out on the belly of the cloth animal toy. If the child grasps the cloth animal toy such that the cloth animal toy faces the child and the belly of the cloth animal toy faces the child, the child is optimally supplied with purified air during play.
The housing advantageously has a partition wall on which the blower is held. It can be provided that the air cleaning module has an operating element which is arranged outside the housing and is connected to the housing by means of a cable. For example, the blower of the air cleaning module can be switched on and off by means of the operating element. Provision can also be made for a plurality of blower stages to be adjustable by means of the operating element, so that the air cleaning power can be adjusted. Alternatively or additionally, it can be provided that the control unit is designed to establish a wireless connection to an external mobile device, such as a smartphone, for actuating the blower. The air cleaning module can be controlled in a simple manner by means of an external, mobile device.
In a preferred embodiment, the blower is a radial blower. The radial blower sucks air in the direction of the rotational axis of the blower wheel and blows out the air in a radial direction with respect to the rotational axis of the blower wheel. By using the radial blower, the installation space of the air cleaning module in the direction of the axis of rotation of the blower can be reduced and a compact, simple construction can be achieved. The air cleaning module preferably has at least one accumulator or at least one battery as an energy supply unit. The air cleaning module is preferably independent of an external energy supply and does not require connecting lines or the like for the energy supply. The air cleaning module is advantageously operated with an operating voltage of 2V to 24V.
The flow velocity at the at least one gas outlet is advantageously between 0.05m/s and 1 m/s. By such a low flow velocity, a ventilating sensation is prevented for the user even if the user is close to the at least one air outlet.
The air cleaning module is advantageously designed such that at least 30% of the cleaned air is still present at a distance of 30cm from the at least one air outlet. In particular, the air cleaning module is designed such that at a distance of 1m from the at least one air outlet, at least 30%, in particular at least 60%, preferably at least 90%, of the cleaned air is still present.
