Description

Cell reselection method and device, and user terminal
Technical Field
The present disclosure relates to the field of communications, and in particular, to a cell reselection method and apparatus, and a user terminal.
Background
The eMTC (Enhanced Machine Type Communication) technology is evolved based on an LTE (Long Term Evolution) protocol. The eMTC and LTE share most resources such as broadcast channels, synchronization signals, reference signals, and the like. Because the eMTC is more suitable for the communication between objects, the eMTC is widely applied to the field of the Internet of things.
Disclosure of Invention
The inventor finds that the eMTC terminal can acquire the neighboring cell information and measure the neighboring cell information after the current cell signal is reduced to the reselection threshold so as to reselect the cell with better signal. In the existing network environment, a large number of LTE cells which do not support eMTC may exist around the eMTC cell, and the eMTC cell is not distinguished from the LTE cell by the neighbor cell information acquired by the eMTC terminal, so that the eMTC terminal is susceptible to interference from the LTE cell which does not support eMTC when reselecting. For example, after initiating a reselection procedure, the eMTC terminal finds that the selected cell is an LTE cell that does not support eMTC, and in this case, stops the reselection procedure, and accesses the peripheral eMTC cell by re-sweeping after the network is disconnected. This significantly increases reselection latency and power consumption of the eMTC terminal.
