Description

Out-of-band management method, server, computer storage medium and terminal
Technical Field
This document relates to, but is not limited to, internet technology, and more particularly, to a method, server, computer storage medium, and terminal for out-of-band management.
Background
Network management can be divided into two management modes of out-of-band management (out-of-band) and in-band management (in-band). When the enterprise network is built, network management data of various enterprises can be transmitted on the network, and when the enterprise network has problems, faults are eliminated through an out-of-band management network or an in-band management network.
In-band management, network management data and service data are transmitted through the same network management channel, and when a large amount of management data (including Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP), network traffic (Netflow), remote dial authentication service (Radius), charging information, and the like) exist, the performance of the whole network is affected, so that in-band management can be adopted only when the traffic of the management data is small. The out-of-band management separates the network management data from the service data, and carries out network management through a specially arranged network management channel, and only transmits the management data in the network management channel, so that the out-of-band management can improve the efficiency and the reliability of the network management and is also beneficial to improving the safety of the network management data. A Baseboard Management Controller (BMC) is an application for out-of-band management, and performs out-of-band management after a user inputs a user name and a password.
In summary, the current out-of-band management has the problem of operation redundancy.
