In other embodiments, the contact piece on the contact shield plate may be in press fit with the ground contact, in which case the contact piece is an obliquely arranged spring piece, or may be connected to the ground contact by soldering.

In the embodiment of the high-speed electrical connector of the present invention, the high-speed electrical connector includes a housing and a plurality of contact modules, the plurality of contact modules are arranged in parallel, and the structure of the contact module is the same as that described in the above specific embodiment of the contact module, and details are not repeated.

Claims (10)

1. A contact module, comprising:
an insulator;
a ground contact disposed within the insulator;
a signal contact disposed within the insulator;
characterized in that the contact module further comprises:
the shielding plate assembly comprises a contact shielding plate in conductive contact with the grounding contact piece and an auxiliary shielding plate clamped between the contact shielding plate and the insulator, wherein the auxiliary shielding plate is in conductive contact with the contact shielding plate;
the contact shielding plate comprises a shielding body and a shielding plate hole arranged on the shielding body, a contact piece protruding towards one side of the auxiliary shielding plate is arranged at the hole edge of the shielding plate hole, the contact piece and the shielding body are integrally bent and formed, an avoiding channel for the contact piece to pass through is arranged on the insulator, and the contact piece is in conductive contact with the grounding contact piece;
the auxiliary shield plate is provided with a contact piece through hole for the contact piece to pass through, and the auxiliary shield plate is provided with a cover part for covering the shield plate hole.
2. The contact module of claim 1, wherein the ground contacts have receptacles for receiving the contact pads, and the contact pads are in interference fit with the receptacles to achieve conductive contact between the ground contacts and the contact pads.
3. The contact module of claim 2, wherein the receptacle has a receptacle projection therein that abuts the contact tab.
4. The contact module according to claim 3, wherein the insertion holes are long waist holes, the insertion hole protrusions are provided at least two and are provided on two waist walls of the long waist holes, the insertion hole protrusions are staggered in the waist direction of the long waist holes, and the insertion hole protrusions on the two waist walls are respectively abutted against the two side surfaces of the contact piece.
5. Contact module according to any one of claims 1-4, characterised in that the auxiliary shield plate is welded or spot-riveted to the contact shield plate or force-fitted by interference.
6. Contact module according to any one of claims 1-4, characterised in that the auxiliary shield plate is a flat plate.
7. A shield plate assembly, comprising:
a contact shield plate for electrically conductive contact with a ground contact of the contact module;
an auxiliary shield plate in conductive contact with the contact shield plate, for being sandwiched between the contact shield plate and the insulator;
the contact shielding plate comprises a shielding body and a shielding plate hole arranged on the shielding body, a contact piece protruding towards one side of the auxiliary shielding plate is arranged at the hole edge of the shielding plate hole, the contact piece is used for being in conductive contact with a grounding contact piece of the contact piece module, and the contact piece and the shielding body are integrally bent and formed;
the auxiliary shield plate is provided with a contact piece through hole for the contact piece to pass through, and the auxiliary shield plate is provided with a cover part for covering the shield plate hole.
8. The shield plate assembly of claim 7, wherein the auxiliary shield plate is welded or spot riveted to the contact shield plate or interference press fit.
9. The shield plate assembly of claim 7 or 8, wherein the auxiliary shield plate is a flat plate.
10. High-speed electrical connector comprising a housing and at least two contact modules arranged side by side, characterized in that the contact modules are as claimed in any one of claims 1-6.
