Detailed Description
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of an electronic device according to an embodiment of the present disclosure. An electronic device such as electronic device 20 of fig. 1 may include a housing such as housing 200, an operating switch such as operating switch 400, and a camera such as camera 600. Both the camera 600 and the operation switch 400 may be provided on the case 200.
The electronic device 20 may be a computing device such as a laptop computer, a computer monitor containing an embedded computer, a tablet computer, a cellular telephone, a media player, or other handheld or portable electronic devices, smaller devices (such as a wristwatch device, a hanging device, a headset or earpiece device, a device embedded in eyeglasses, or other device worn on the head of a user, or other wearable or miniature devices), a television, a computer display not containing an embedded computer, a gaming device, a navigation device, an embedded system (such as a system in which an electronic device with a display is installed in a kiosk or automobile), a device that implements the functionality of two or more of these devices, or other electronic devices. In the exemplary configuration of fig. 1, the electronic device 20 is a portable device, such as a cellular telephone, media player, tablet, or other portable computing device. Other configurations may be used for the electronic device 20, if desired. The example of fig. 1 is merely exemplary.
The housing 200 may be formed from plastic, glass, ceramic, fiber composite, metal (e.g., stainless steel, aluminum, etc.), other suitable materials, or a combination of any two or more of these materials. The housing body 200 may be formed using a one-piece configuration in which some or all of the housing body 200 is machined or molded as a single structure, or may be formed using multiple structures (e.g., an inner frame structure, one or more structures that form an outer shell surface, etc.). The case 200 may provide a receiving cavity to receive components of the electronic device 20 such as a battery, a circuit board, and the like.
The housing 200 may include a middle frame, such as middle frame 220, and a back cover, such as back cover 240. The middle frame 220 may serve as a carrier for the electronic device 20. For example, the bezel 220 may carry a display screen, a circuit board, a battery, etc. of the electronic device 20. The middle frame 220 may be made of metal, and may be formed by injection molding or machining.
The rear cover 240 may be disposed on one side of the middle frame 220, such as the rear cover 240 disposed on a non-display side of the middle frame 220. The rear cover 240 and the middle frame 220 are fixedly connected to form a receiving cavity 220 for receiving devices such as a battery, a circuit board, etc. of the electronic device 20, so that the rear cover 240 can cover the devices such as the battery and the circuit board, etc. on the middle frame 220. It is understood that the display screen of the electronic device 20 and the rear cover 240 are disposed on two opposite sides of the middle frame 220, and the display screen of the electronic device 20 may be disposed on the display surface of the middle frame 220 to display a picture.
The rear cover 240 may be provided with a control region 242. The control region 242 of the rear cover 240 may be a structure integrated with the rear cover 240 or may be a structure with holes. In some embodiments, when the control region 242 is an integral structure with the rear cover 240, a color different from other positions of the rear cover 240 may be provided at the position of the control region 2222. That is, the outer surface of the rear cover 240 at the position of the control region 242 is provided with a color different from the color provided at the outer surface of the rear cover 240 at other positions. Such as rear cover 240, is provided with a self-luminous material on the outer surface of control region 242 to allow a user to identify control region 242. Of course, light emitting lamps may also be provided in the control region 242.
Devices of the electronic apparatus 20 such as the operation switch 400 may be disposed at the control region 242 of the rear cover 240. Such as disposing the operation switch 400 on the inner surface of the rear cover 240, and opening a through hole structure in the control region 242 of the rear cover 240 to receive the operation switch 400.
The operation switch 400 may detect a touch operation, which may include a pressing operation, a sliding operation, and the like. The pressing operation comprises clicking operation, long pressing operation and the like. The sliding operation is a continuous change in position of the pressing operation of the operation switch 400 detected in the control area, such as a user sliding with a finger in the control area 242, and the sliding operation is detected by the operation switch 400. The operation switch 400 may transmit the touch operation to the processor of the electronic device 20 after detecting the touch operation, and the processor of the electronic device 20 may control the corresponding function of the electronic device 20 according to the touch operation.
In practical use of the electronic device 20, the user usually holds the electronic device 20 with one hand, i.e. operates the electronic device 20 with one hand. In a case where the user holds the electronic device 20 with one hand, the face of the user is generally facing the display screen of the electronic device 20, i.e., the display surface of the electronic device 20, and the index finger of the user is generally located at the position of the rear cover 240 of the electronic device 20. For this, the embodiment of the present application provides the operation switch 400 in the control region 242 of the rear cover 240, and the user can control the operation switch 400 at the position of the control region 242 using his index finger. Thereby facilitating the user to control various functions of the electronic device 20 when holding the electronic device 20 with one hand, and eliminating the need to provide an operating switch at a side or other location of the electronic device 20. In addition, it should be noted that, with the continuous generation of devices such as narrow frames and flexible screens, the frames of the electronic device 20 have a narrower width, and the actual width thereof is gradually unable to carry the operating switch 400. In the embodiment of the present application, the operation switch 400 is disposed in the control region 242 of the rear cover 240, and the flexible screen of the electronic device 20 can be disposed at the frame position of the electronic device 20, so as to implement a narrow frame or frameless design.
It should be noted that the operation switch 400 may be a physical switch, and a hole may be formed in the control region 242 of the rear cover 240 to provide the physical switch, so that the index finger of the user can directly control the physical switch to control the function of the electronic device 20. Of course, the operation switch 400 may be a sensor switch. Such as the operation switch 400 is provided inside the rear cover 240, and the control operation of the operation switch 400 is achieved through the rear cover 242.
The following description will take the operation switch 400 as a sensor switch as an example.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 2 is a first structural schematic diagram of an operation switch in the electronic device shown in fig. 1. The operation switch 400 may include a pressure detection module 420, where the pressure detection module 420 is configured to detect a pressing force of the control region 242 of the rear cover 240, and specifically, the pressing force may be detected according to a deformation amount generated at a position of the control region 242 of the rear cover 240. The pressure detection module 420 may include a first flexible circuit board 422 and a pressure detector 424 electrically connected to the first flexible circuit board 422. The first flexible circuit board 422 may be disposed on an inner surface of the rear cover 240, and may be attached to an inner surface of the control region 242 of the rear cover 240, such as with glue, double-sided tape, or the like.
The pressure detector 424 may include a resistive sensor or a capacitive sensor, among others. It should be noted that when the pressure detector 424 includes a capacitive sensor, no metal is disposed at the position of the pressure detector 424 to ensure the accuracy of the detection of the capacitive sensor. The resistive sensor may be a MEMS (micro electro mechanical systems) sensor. It should be noted that the resistive sensor is not limited to the MEMS piezoresistive IC, and the resistive sensor may employ a strain gauge.
The thickness of the control region 242 of the rear cover 240 may be set to be thin and may be deformed by a pressing force, and the first flexible circuit board 422 and the pressure detector 424 are disposed together on the inner surface of the control region 242 of the rear cover 240. When the control area 242 of the rear cover 240 is pressed, the control area 242 of the rear cover 240 deforms, and drives the first flexible circuit board 422 and the pressure detector 424 to deform together, and converts the pressure into an electrical signal to be transmitted to the processor of the electronic device 20, and the processor can control the function of the electronic device 20 according to the pressing operation. Such as the function of shooing, focusing function, volume control function, switching on and shutting down function etc. not only can save the consumption of touch-control display screen, the user operation of convenience moreover. Especially facilitating one-handed operation for some users.
It should be noted that, in the actual assembly process, since the first flexible circuit board 422 is made of a soft material, deformation is easily generated, and in order to reduce the deformation of the first flexible circuit board 422 in the assembly process, the thickness of the first flexible circuit board 422 may be increased. Of course, a reinforcing plate may be fixedly connected to the first flexible circuit board 422.
Referring to fig. 3, fig. 3 is a second structural diagram of the operation switch of the electronic device shown in fig. 1. The operation switch 420 may further include a reinforcing sheet 426, the reinforcing sheet 426 is fixedly connected to the first flexible circuit board 422, and the reinforcing sheet 426 and the pressure detector 424 are respectively disposed on both sides of the first flexible circuit board 422. Reinforcing sheet 426 is fixedly attached to the inner surface of side 222 at the location of control region 242 of rear cover 240. The reinforcing plate 426 may increase the overall strength of the pressure detecting module 420 for assembly, thereby preventing deformation during assembly and difficulty in assembly. It should be noted that the pressure detector 424 and the reinforcing sheet 426 may not be provided on both sides of the first flexible circuit board 422.
Referring to fig. 4, fig. 4 is a schematic diagram illustrating a third structure of the operation switch of the electronic device shown in fig. 1. The reinforcing sheet 426 and the pressure detector 424 may be disposed on the same side of the first flexible circuit board 422, the pressure detector 424 may be disposed within a gap 428 of the reinforcing sheet 426, and the space of the gap 428 is larger than the size of the pressure detector 424. Such as the thickness of the reinforcing sheet 426 is greater than the thickness of the pressure detector 424, the reinforcing sheet 426 and the pressure detector 424 do not touch. It is thus ensured that pressure detector 424 does not contact reinforcing sheet 426 or control region 242 of rear cover 240 when deformed by pressure, thereby affecting the accuracy of pressure detector 424 in detecting the pressing force.
It will be appreciated that in order for the pressure detector 424 to be able to effectively detect pressure, a void 428 may be provided in the reinforcing sheet 426, with the pressure detector 424 being spatially located within the void 428. Therefore, when the position of the control region 242 of the rear cover 240 receives the acting force, the stress of the acting force is applied to the pressure detector 424 at the position of the gap 428 due to the arrangement of the reinforcing sheet 426, so that the signal detected by the pressure detection module 420 can be more accurate. In some embodiments, two reinforcing sheets 426 may be connected to the first flexible circuit board 422 to form the gap 428, or a gap 428 may be opened on one reinforcing sheet 426.
It should be noted that, the accuracy of the signal detected by the pressure detecting module 420 can be improved without providing the reinforcing sheet 426, such as providing a groove at the position of the control region 242 of the back cover 240 to dispose the pressure detector 424 in the groove, so that the thickness at the two sides of the groove is larger, and thus the thickness at the position of the pressure detector 424 is smaller and is also easily deformed.
Referring to fig. 5, fig. 5 is a schematic diagram illustrating a fourth structure of the operation switch of the electronic device shown in fig. 1. The operation switch 400 may further include a position detection module such as an ultrasonic detection module 440, and the ultrasonic detection module 440 is used to detect the pressed position of the control region 242 of the rear cover 240. The ultrasonic detection module 440 may include a second flexible circuit board 442, a signal transmitting part 444, and a signal receiving part 446. The signal transmitting portion 444 and the signal receiving portion 446 are electrically connected to the second flexible circuit board 442. The signal transmitting portion 444 and the signal receiving portion 446 may be made of a piezoelectric ceramic material. Second flexible circuit board 442 may be disposed on an inner surface of control region 242 of rear cover 240, such as by being adhered to an inner surface of control region 242 of rear cover 240 with glue, double-sided tape, or the like. The ultrasonic detection module 440 may receive different signals, such as different operation modes, and may determine the control signal according to the operation mode to control the functions of the electronic device 20 according to the control signal.
The ultrasonic detection module 440 can detect the pressed position of the control region 242 of the rear cover 240 to realize positioning. Or the ultrasonic detection module 440 can detect a specific position for placing a finger on the control region 242 of the rear cover 240 to achieve positioning. When the pressing force continuously moves, or the user's finger performs a sliding operation in the control area, the ultrasonic detection module 440 may receive the sliding operation signal, convert the sliding operation signal into an electrical signal and transmit the electrical signal to the processor of the electronic device 20, and the processor may control the functions of the electronic device 20, such as adjusting the focal length of the camera 600, adjusting the video playing progress, adjusting the volume, and the like, according to the sliding operation signal. Thereby enabling control of the functions through the electronic device 20.
It is understood that other operations, such as a tap, may also be detected by the ultrasonic detection module 440. The ultrasonic detection module 440 may also control the functions of the electronic device 20 according to other operations or different sliding operations.
Wherein the sliding direction of the sliding operation is along the length direction of the electronic device 20. Of course, the sliding direction of the sliding operation may be a direction along the width of the electronic device 20, and may be another direction.
It is understood that a signal transmitting portion 444 and a signal receiving portion 446 may be disposed at an interval on the ultrasonic detection module 440. A plurality of signal transmitting sections 444 and a plurality of signal receiving sections 446 may be provided at intervals.
In some embodiments, the operation switch 400 may include a pressure detection module and an ultrasonic detection module, and the pressure detection module and the ultrasonic detection module may share a flexible circuit board. Such as disposing the pressure detector, the ultrasonic-wave signal transmitting section, and the ultrasonic-wave signal receiving section on the same flexible circuit board. For example: a pressure detector is disposed between a signal transmitting portion and a signal receiving portion. Of course, if the pressure detector is plural, each pressure detector is disposed between one signal transmitting portion and one signal receiving portion, that is, disposed at an interval from each other. The pressing force can be effectively detected through the pressure detector, and the pressing position can be effectively detected through the ultrasonic detector. Thereby, not only functions of the electronic device 20 such as controlling the camera 600 to take a picture, and controlling the camera 600 to focus can be accurately controlled according to the received signals. Meanwhile, the function of preventing mistaken touch can be realized according to the pressing intensity and the pressing position.
Referring to fig. 6, fig. 6 is a schematic structural diagram of an electronic device according to a second embodiment of the present disclosure. The electronic device 20 may further include a false touch prevention detector 300, the false touch prevention detector 300 may be disposed at a side of the middle frame 220, the false touch prevention detector 300 may be a capacitive detector, and the side of the middle frame 220 at which the false touch prevention detector 300 is disposed may be made of a non-metal material, such as glass or ceramic. The capacitance detector is an electrode plate with a certain shape, under the condition that no finger touches the surface of the sensor, a certain capacitance (self-capacitance) is formed between the electrode plate and the surrounding ground, when the finger touches the surface of the sensor, the conductive property and the large mass of a human body form a grounded conductive layer, so that electric field lines are formed, and the capacitance between the capacitance detector and the ground is changed. By detecting this change in capacitance, it is possible to know whether there is a finger press. Thereby realizing the function of preventing the erroneous touch through the erroneous touch prevention detector 300. It should be noted that the capacitive detector can refer to the touch function of an electronic device such as a display screen of a mobile phone.
One or more false touch prevention detectors 300 may be disposed on one side of the middle frame 220, and the false touch prevention function may be implemented by the false touch prevention detector 300 on one side. Of course, one or more false touch detectors 300 may be disposed on multiple sides of the middle frame 220, and the false touch prevention function may be implemented by the false touch detectors 300 on multiple sides.
In the embodiment of the application, when the operation switch 400 detects a touch operation in the control area 242, the operation signal may be transmitted to the processor of the electronic device 20, and after the processor of the electronic device 20 receives the touch operation, it may be determined whether the anti-false touch detector 300 disposed on the side of the middle frame 220 detects a long-press operation on the side. If the anti-false touch detector 300 detects a long press operation at the side edge, it is determined that the user wants to control the function of the electronic device 20, so that the processor can control the corresponding function of the electronic device 20 based on the touch operation. On the other hand, if the false touch prevention detector 300 does not detect the long press operation on the side, it is determined that the user does not want to control the function of the electronic apparatus 20, and there is a possibility of false touch. Therefore, when the anti-false touch detector 300 does not detect the long press operation on the side, it may be determined that the touch operation detected by the operation switch 400 is a false operation, and the processor of the electronic device 20 does not control the function of the electronic device 20 according to the touch operation, or abandons the touch operation.
It should be noted that, in the actual operation process, the user holds the electronic device 20 with one hand, and usually holds the electronic device 20 to one end, such as the bottom end of the display screen. While the other end of the electronic device 20, such as the top of the display screen, is not held by the user, when the user holds the electronic device with one hand, the index finger of the user is usually close to the top of the display screen of the electronic device 20, or the end where the camera 600 is disposed. The embodiment of the present application may dispose the control region 242 near an end of the electronic device 20 where the camera 600 is disposed. With continued reference to fig. 1, the rear cover 240 may be provided with a camera aperture 244 to facilitate image acquisition by the camera 600. The distance between the camera aperture 244 and the control region 242 may be less than half the length of the rear cover 240. It is understood that the length of the rear cover 240 may be the distance from the top end of the display to the bottom end of the display of the electronic device 20. It is thereby ensured that the user's index finger can be placed at the location of the control region 242 to control the operation switch 400 when holding the electronic device 20 with one hand.
However, due to the difference in the length of the fingers of different users and the difference in the size of different terminals, the control region 242 fixedly provided at the rear cover 240 with the operation switch 400 may not satisfy the needs of all users. For this reason, the embodiment of the present application may enlarge the control region 242, such as providing the operation switch 400 in the entire region of the rear cover 240. However, the control region 242 is too large, which may increase the cost. The embodiment of the application can also control the operation switch 400 to be movable, so that a user can adjust the position of the operation switch 400, and the user can conveniently perform touch operation.
Referring to fig. 7, fig. 7 is a schematic structural diagram of an electronic device according to an embodiment of the present application. A passage may be provided inside the electronic device 20, and the operation switch 400 may move inside the passage. A sliding track may be provided inside the electronic device 20, such as on the inner surface of the back cover 240, and the sliding track cooperates with the operation switch 400, and the operation switch 400 may slide along the sliding track in the channel. A driving means such as a motor and a gear train may be provided inside the electronic device 20, the motor being operated to drive the gears in the gear train to rotate, and the gear train being operable to drive the operating switch 400 to move along the sliding track. It should be noted that the gear set may be replaced with a transmission mechanism such as a belt or a link to apply the force of the motor to the operation switch 400. The user can adjust the position of the operation switch 400 as desired.
It should be noted that the manner of controlling the movement of the operating switch 400 in the embodiment of the present application is not limited to this, for example, a manual control manner may be adopted, a through hole may be formed in the side edge of the rear cover 240 or the middle frame 220, a handle may be installed in the through hole, the handle is connected to the operating switch 400, and the handle may be controlled to control the position of the operating switch 400.
Referring to fig. 7 and 8, fig. 7 and 8 show a state in which the operation switch 400 is moved to different positions. Fig. 8 is a fourth schematic structural diagram of an electronic device according to an embodiment of the present application.
When the operation switch 400 is a physical button, it is exposed outside the rear cover 240 and is easily damaged. The embodiment of the present application may further include a protection cover covering the operation switch 400 to protect the operation switch 400.
Referring to fig. 9 and 10, fig. 9 is a fifth structural schematic diagram of an electronic device according to an embodiment of the present application, and fig. 10 is a sixth structural schematic diagram of the electronic device according to the embodiment of the present application. Fig. 9 shows a state where the moving member 248 is covered on the operation switch 400, and fig. 10 shows a state where the moving member 248 moves to the inside of the electronic device 20 to communicate the operation switch 400 with the outside. Electronic device 20 may also include a mover 248. The rear cover 240 may be provided with a through hole 246 at the control region 242, a mover 248 may be coupled with the rear cover 240, and the mover 248 may be moved on the rear cover 240.
The movement of the moving member 248 on the rear cover 240 may form different states for the operation switch 400. Such as the moving member 248, on the rear cover 240, the operation switch 400 can be switched between the exposed state and the hidden state. The exposed state of the operating switch 400 is such that the moving member moves into the rear cover 240 to make the operating switch 400 communicate with the outside through the through hole 246. The hidden state of the operating switch 400 is that the moving member moves to the position of the through hole 246 to shield the operating switch 400.
