Disclosure of Invention
Problems to be solved by the invention
However, such a clothes dryer is not sufficiently weather-resistant, generally on the premise of being installed indoors. Therefore, for example, when the electric vehicle is installed outdoors on a balcony or the like, rainwater may enter the operation panel from the periphery thereof and damage the electric components installed on the back side of the operation panel.
Therefore, it is considered to improve the water resistance around the operation panel by providing a seal made of synthetic rubber or the like between the front plate of the housing and the operation panel.
However, when the sealing material is provided to improve the waterproof property, the number of parts increases, and the number of assembly steps also increases, which may increase the manufacturing cost. Further, when the sealing material is deteriorated, there is a problem that the sealing material needs to be replaced because the waterproof property is lowered.
In view of the above problems, an object of the present invention is to provide a clothes dryer capable of preventing damage to electric components and the like provided on the back side of an operation panel even if water enters the inside of a housing from the periphery of the operation panel.
Means for solving the problems
In order to achieve the above object, a laundry dryer of the present invention includes: a frame body; an opening/closing door provided on the front plate of the frame; a drying chamber which is opened and closed by the opening and closing door and accommodates clothes therein; and an operation portion for performing an operation related to a clothes drying operation, the operation portion being provided on a front plate of the frame, the clothes dryer being characterized in that the frame includes a mounting opening portion at the front plate thereof to which the operation portion is mounted, the operation portion includes an operation panel exposed at a front surface of the front plate of the frame and a frame portion fitted into the mounting opening portion, the frame portion includes an upper frame portion protruding upward of an electrical component provided on a back side of the operation panel and side frame portions extending downward continuously from both ends of the upper frame portion, the upper frame portion of the frame portion includes a water receiving portion receiving water entering from the mounting opening portion, at least one side frame portion of the frame portion includes a water receiving portion guiding water received by the water receiving portion of the upper frame portion in a bottom direction of the frame portion, the water receiving portion is configured by an upper surface of the upper frame portion and a rising wall formed by an upper surface of the upper frame portion and a rising wall extending outward from a lower surface of the side frame portion, the water receiving portion is configured by a water guide portion extending from an outer surface of the upper frame portion which is continuous with the side wall, and a lower end of the water guide portion extending outward from the side wall which extends continuously from the upper surface and a lower end of the side wall which extends outward.
According to the present invention, water entering the inside of the housing from the mounting opening is received by the water receiving portion of the upper frame portion, guided by the water guide portion, flows toward the bottom (bottom direction) of the housing, and is discharged to the outside of the housing. This prevents water from adhering to the electric components and the like located below the upper frame portion and damaging the electric components and the like.
Further, the water receiving portion is formed by the upper surface of the upper frame portion and the rising wall, and water entering from the mounting opening portion and flowing on the upper surface of the upper frame portion is blocked by the rising wall. This prevents water on the upper surface of the upper frame portion from flowing into a position behind the rising wall. Further, the water guide portion is formed by the outer side surface of the side frame portion and the projecting wall, so that water on the upper surface of the upper frame portion stopped by the rising wall flows down along the outer side surface of the side frame portion. At this time, the water flowing along the outer surface of the side frame portion is guided downward by coming into contact with the protruding wall, and therefore does not enter behind the protruding wall. In this way, the water receiving portion and the water guide portion can be formed relatively easily, and water entering the housing through the mounting opening portion can smoothly flow downward from the side of the housing.
In the present invention, it is preferable that a back surface of the operation panel along an outer peripheral edge thereof is formed in a shape abutting on a front surface of the front plate along the attachment opening portion, and the frame portion includes an abutting portion abutting on the front plate from a back surface side of the front plate, thereby pressing the front plate against the operation panel.
The contact portion provided in the frame portion contacts the front plate from the back side, thereby pressing the front surface of the front plate against the back surface of the operation panel (relatively, pressing the back surface of the operation panel against the front surface of the front plate). Thus, the front surface of the front plate can be brought into close contact with the back surface of the operation panel without rattling, and water can be reliably prevented from entering the inside of the housing through the mounting opening. Therefore, the waterproof property can be provided between the mounting opening portion and the frame body portion without using a sealing material or the like, and the waterproof property can be maintained for a long period of time without causing a problem of deterioration of the sealing material or the like.

Detailed Description
An embodiment of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. As shown in fig. 1, a clothes dryer 1 of the present embodiment includes an opening/closing door 4 and an operation unit 5 on a front plate 3 of a housing 2. The opening/closing door 4 opens and closes the front end of an unillustrated drying chamber housed inside the housing 2. The drying chamber is constituted by, for example, a rotary drum, and houses the laundry subjected to the dehydration treatment therein. The drying chamber supplies dry air to perform a drying operation of the laundry. At this time, the user performs various settings, operation instructions, and the like during the drying operation via the operation unit 5.
As shown in fig. 2, the front plate 3 of the housing 2 is formed with an attachment opening 6 for attaching the operation unit 5. As shown in fig. 2 and 3, the operation unit 5 includes an operation panel 7 and a housing 8. The operation panel 7 includes a plurality of operation switches 7a and a display portion 7b, and is provided in a state exposed on the front surface of the front plate 3 of the housing 2 as shown in fig. 1. As shown in fig. 3, a circuit board 9 (electrical component) is supported on the back side of the operation panel 5, and the circuit board 9 is electrically connected to the operation switches 7a and the display unit 7 b. The frame portion 8 is formed in a shape surrounding the outer periphery of the circuit board 9.
The frame portion 8 is formed integrally with the operation panel 7, and as shown in fig. 3, the frame portion 8 is composed of an upper frame portion 8a, a side frame portion 8b, and a lower frame portion 8 c. The upper frame portion 8a extends upward of the circuit board 9 to cover the upper side of the circuit board 9.
As shown in fig. 4, a plurality of contact protrusions 10 (contact portions) are formed at intervals on the upper surface of the upper frame portion 8a, and the contact protrusions 10 contact the front plate 3 of the frame body 2 from the back surface side of the front plate 3 (that is, contact the inner peripheral edge of the attachment opening portion 6 from the rear side of the inner peripheral edge). The contact projection 10 can bring the front plate 3 of the housing 2 into close contact with the back surface of the operation panel 7, and can provide water resistance between the operation panel 7 and the front plate 3 of the housing 2.
The upper frame portion 8a includes a water receiving portion 11. The upper frame portion 8a includes a rising wall 12 rising from a rear end edge thereof to face the rear surface of the front plate 3. The water receiving portion 11 is constituted by the upper surface of the upper frame portion 8a and the rising wall 12. When water enters from between the operation panel 7 and the front plate 3 of the housing 2 and attempts to flow from the upper surface of the upper frame portion 8a toward the inside of the housing 2, the water is blocked by the rising wall 12, and therefore, the adhesion of water to the circuit board 9 can be prevented.
As shown in fig. 3, the side frame portion 8b extends downward continuously from both ends in the longitudinal direction of the upper frame portion 8a, and covers the side of the circuit board 9. As shown in fig. 3 and 5, the side frame portion 8b includes a concave water guide portion (13) formed on an outer surface thereof, and an extension wall 14 extending laterally from a rear end edge of the side frame portion 8b is formed by the concave shape of the water guide portion 13.
In fig. 6, the flow of water is schematically shown by arrows, and water flowing from the water receiving portion 11 on the upper surface of the upper frame portion 8a toward the side frame portion 8b enters the concave water guide portion 13 and flows down along the side frame portion 8b, is guided outward by the lower surface wall 13a of the water guide portion 13, and then flows out toward the bottom of the housing 2. In this way, since the water conduit 14 guides water in a direction away from the circuit board 9, water can be prevented from adhering to the circuit board 9.
In the above-described manner, in the laundry dryer 1 of the present embodiment, the contact protrusion 10 provided in the upper frame portion 8a of the frame portion 8 of the operation portion 5 can maintain the waterproof property between the operation portion 5 and the front plate 3 of the frame 2 for a long period of time without using a packing (packing) or the like. Even if water should enter the housing 2 from between the operation portion 5 and the mounting opening portion 6, the water receiving portion 11 and the water guide portion 13 provided in the housing portion 8 can prevent water from adhering to the circuit board 9.
Therefore, when the clothes dryer 1 of the present embodiment is installed outside a room such as a balcony, it is possible to prevent damage due to rainwater adhering to the circuit board 9 (electrical components and the like) located on the back side of the operation portion 5.
In the present embodiment, the operation portion 5 is shown below the opening/closing door 4, but the position of the operation portion is not limited to this, and for example, the operation portion may be located above or laterally to the opening/closing door. In addition, although not shown, in the case where the operation portion is disposed above and laterally to open and close the door, the water guide portion provided in the housing portion of the operation portion may be configured such that water received by the water receiving portion flows in the bottom direction while bypassing the inner surface of the side wall of the housing.
