The invention provides an ecological soil stabilizer and a preparation method thereof, wherein the soil stabilizer comprises the following raw materials in parts by weight: 0.01-0.06 part of dioctyl sodium sulfosuccinate, 0.7-3 parts of lignin fiber, 30-60 parts of salt, 20-50 parts of hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, 3-18 parts of hydroxide, 1-13 parts of polyvinyl alcohol, 0.075-0.3 part of 2-ethylhexanol, 0.5-1.2 parts of isopropanol and 500-900 parts of water, and the soil curing agent enables the solidified soil to be easily compacted and stabilized, so that an integral structure is formed, and the prepared brick has high compression density; the soil curing agent prepared by the invention only needs simple mixing and stirring, has simple process steps and easy operation, can obtain the curing agent with high solid-to-waste ratio by controlling the stirring speed and time, and is used for preparing the building brick with strong compressive strength, low water absorption, low mass loss rate and obvious curing effect.
