Meanwhile, the copper sulfate also has the sterilization and disinfection effects and has the synergistic sterilization and disinfection effects with the chlorine dioxide. The addition of sodium carbonate in water solution produces carbon dioxide gas under acidic condition to produce effervescence and to make the powder or tablet disintegrate fast and speed up the reaction.
