Abstract
The invention provides a method for releasing system event log of a computer system, wherein the computer system comprises a substrate management module connected with a network, and the method for releasing the system event log of the computer system comprises the following steps: the baseboard management module generates a system event log related to the computer system; and the baseboard management module is connected with a servo module corresponding to a community website through a network by virtue of a connection address of the community website so as to transmit the system event log, a user account and a password which are related to the community website to the servo module corresponding to the community website, so that the servo module distributes the system event log to the community website.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a method for issuing system event logs of a computer system, and more particularly, to a method for issuing system event logs to a community site by a baseboard management controller of the computer system.
Background
A conventional computer server system generally includes a Baseboard Management Controller (BMC), which can monitor an operation state of the computer server system, such as a temperature of a central processing unit, a network traffic, etc., and generate a system event log (system event log) when an event to be noticed occurs, and store the system event log in a storage unit electrically connected to the BMC.
In addition, the baseboard management controller can be connected with a network, and a user can operate a remote computer device to be connected to the baseboard management controller through the network so as to obtain the system event log stored in the storage unit. However, when the baseboard management controller is disconnected from the network or the baseboard management controller itself is abnormal or is performing firmware update, and the remote computer device operated by the user cannot connect the baseboard management controller through the network, the user cannot obtain the system event log stored in the storage unit from the remote end, and cannot obtain the system event log stored in the storage unit before the baseboard management controller cannot connect to the baseboard management controller from the outside, and further cannot assist the user in performing subsequent maintenance.
Disclosure of Invention
The technical problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a method for issuing a system event log to a community site by a baseboard management controller of the computer system.
In order to solve the above technical problem, the present invention provides a method for distributing system event logs of a computer system, the computer system including a baseboard management module connected to a network, the method for distributing system event logs of a computer system including a step (a) and a step (b).
The step (a) is that the baseboard management module generates a system event log related to the computer system.
The step (b) is that the baseboard management module connects a servo module corresponding to a community website through a network by a connection address of the community website so as to transmit the system event log and a user account and a password related to the community website to the servo module corresponding to the community website, so that the servo module distributes the system event log to the community website.
Compared with the prior art, the method for releasing the system event log of the computer system has the advantages that the baseboard management module is connected with the connection address of the community website through the network and corresponds to the servo module of the community website, and a user can check or obtain the system event log through the community website.

Referring to fig. 1, the present invention provides a method for publishing system event logs of a computer system, which is implemented by a computer system 1, the computer system 1 includes a baseboard management module 11, the baseboard management module 11 includes a baseboard management controller 111 and a storage unit 112 electrically connected to the baseboard management controller 111, and the baseboard management controller 111 is in communication connection with a remote computer device 2 and a server module 3 corresponding to a community website through a network.
Referring to fig. 2 and 3, an embodiment of a method for publishing system event logs of a computer system according to the present invention includes an account registration stage (step S11 ~ S12) and a log publishing stage (step S21 ~ S23).
In the account registration stage, first, the computer device 2 transmits a user account registered in the community site, a password corresponding to the user account, and a link address corresponding to the server module, which is a domain name or an ip address of the corresponding community site, to the bmc 111 through a user operation (step S11).
Next, the bmc 111 stores the user account, the password and the corresponding link address of the social network site in the storage unit 112 (step S12).
In the release log phase, first, the bmc 111 generates a system event log associated with the computer system 1 (step S21).
Next, the bmc 111 determines whether the system event log meets a predetermined condition corresponding to the system event log (step S22).
If the bmc 111 determines that the system event log meets the predetermined condition, the bmc 111 connects the server module 3 of the community site with the link address of the corresponding community site via the network to transmit the system event log, the user account, the password and a command set to the server module 3 of the corresponding community site (step S23), so that the server module 3 distributes the system event log to the community site in a manner corresponding to the user account and the password according to the received command set, wherein the command set includes a distribution command and a distribution object setting, and the distribution object setting may be fully disclosed, only disclosed to a specific account, or only disclosed to an account that is a friend of the user account.
For example, the social network site is a Facebook (Facebook), the user account and the password are registered user accounts and passwords on the Facebook, and the registered user accounts and passwords of the user are stored by the server module 3 in a corresponding manner. The computer device 2 is a user's own smart phone. The computer system 1 further includes a Central Processing Unit (CPU). The bmc 111 can filter out the system event log of interest to the user by setting the predetermined condition. In this case, the predetermined condition corresponding to the system event log is that the temperature of the cpu is higher than a second threshold, wherein the second threshold is not less than the first threshold. When the bmc 111 determines that the temperature of the cpu recorded in the system event log is higher than the second threshold (step S22), the bmc 111 logs in the servo module 3 corresponding to the face book through the user account and the password by using a Facebook provided graphical application program interface (Facebook Graph API) and the link address of the social network site, and transmits the system event log meeting the predetermined condition to the servo module 3 (step S23), so that the servo module 3 issues the system event log meeting the predetermined condition to a Facebook posting corresponding to the user account.
Any user, including the administrator of the computer system 1, can log in the servo module 3 corresponding to the facebook and set a specific association relationship with the user account stored in the baseboard management module 11, for example, a specific association relationship with the user account stored in the baseboard management module 11 being a friend of the facebook, after the facebook posting text issued by the servo module 3 corresponding to the user account is generated, the generation and issuance of the system event log meeting the predetermined condition can be known in real time by executing a facebook application program on the other electronic device to receive the push-broadcast information of the facebook posting text on the computer device 2 or other electronic devices capable of logging in the corresponding facebook. Of course, the user also checks other face book posts corresponding to the user account through the face book application, for example, other users log in the servo module 3 corresponding to the face book through other user accounts of the face book and issue other system event logs corresponding to the use account, for example, other users log in the servo module 3 corresponding to the face book through other user accounts and issue other system event logs corresponding to other user accounts in an electronic publishing column for issuing face book posts corresponding to the user accounts, so as to view more system event logs issued to the face book. In addition, although the bmc 111 may filter out the system event logs interested by the user by setting the predetermined condition, and only publish the system event logs interested by the user on the community site; in another embodiment, the baseboard management controller 111 does not filter the system event logs, but instead, each system event log generated by the baseboard management controller 111 is distributed on the community site.
In summary, the method for releasing the system event log of the computer system according to the present invention stores the user account and the corresponding password registered in the social network site by the baseboard management module 11, and log in the server module 3 corresponding to the community website through the user account and the password by the bmc 111 and transmit the system event log of the computer system 1 to the server module 3, so that the server module 3 can distribute the system event log to the electronic bulletin board corresponding to the community website of the user in a manner corresponding to the user account, so that the user can view or obtain the system event log through the community website, the community website provides stable data backup for the system event log and a plurality of pipelines to obtain the system event log of the computer system 1, so the object of the present invention can be achieved.

b the baseboard management module connects a servo module corresponding to a community website through a network by a connection address of the community website to transmit the system event log, a user account and a password related to the community website to the servo module corresponding to the community website, so that the servo module distributes the system event log to the community website.
2. the method as claimed in claim 1, wherein the baseboard management module is communicatively connected to a computer device via a network, the method further comprising the step of c: the baseboard management module receives the user account, the password and the corresponding link address of the community website from the computer device.

The method as claimed in claim 2, wherein the baseboard management module comprises a baseboard management controller and a storage unit, and the baseboard management controller is connected to the computer device via network communication, wherein in the step c, the baseboard management controller receives the user account and the password from the computer device, and stores the user account, the password and the corresponding link address of the community website in the storage unit.
4. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein in the step b, the social networking site is a facebook, and the server module issues the system event log as a facebook posting of the user account.
5. The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein in the step b, when the baseboard management module determines that the system event log meets a predetermined condition, the baseboard management module sends the system event log, the user account and the password to the server module.

The method as claimed in claim 1, wherein in the step b, the bmc not only transmits the system event log and a user account and a password associated with the social networking site to the servo module corresponding to the social networking site, but also transmits a command set including a distribution object setting to the servo module corresponding to the social networking site.
