According to the technical scheme, the technical problem that the printing speed is low due to the fact that a large number of printing commands are processed by the printing driving device in the related art is solved, specifically, in the printing imaging system, the printing imaging system at least comprises a printing control device and a printing driving device, a user can perform printing operation on a client side, the printing control device arranged in the client side can receive the printing commands, the printing control device responds to the obtained printing commands to detect whether a document to be printed has a thickened word or not, if the document to be printed has the thickened word, the thickened word is converted into a non-thickened word in the process of converting the document to be printed into an intermediate file, and therefore the intermediate file does not have the thickened word, namely, the step of generating the thickened word is removed from the process of producing the intermediate file, and then a large number of corresponding printing commands are not needed to be generated for the large number of thickened words in the process of converting the intermediate file into a printing language. Meanwhile, in order that the print driving device can recognize these bolded words in the subsequent step, the print control device may set a bolded flag for the non-bolded words converted from the bolded words in the intermediate file, and finally, the print control device sends the intermediate file carrying the bolded flag to the print driving device.
The print driving device may be disposed on the client side or on the printing device side, or may be disposed separately, and after the print driving device receives the intermediate file, it needs to determine whether the intermediate file has a thickening mark, and if the intermediate file has a thickening mark, it indicates that the intermediate file has thickening words, so that the thickening words can be identified by the thickening mark, and a preset image processing algorithm dedicated to thickening the words in the non-thickening form is disposed in the print driving device, so that the preset image processing algorithm may be applied to thicken the words having the thickening mark.
As is clear from the foregoing background art, in the related art, the print control apparatus converts the document to be printed having the bolded words into bitmaps, and the print driving apparatus changes these bitmaps into a large number of vector images and then generates the print command.
In the technical scheme of the invention, when the document to be printed with the thickened words is converted into the bitmap, the thickened words are displayed in a non-thickened form by the printing control device, so that the number of the formed vector images is greatly reduced, and the number of printing commands required correspondingly is greatly reduced, thereby reducing the calculation difficulty and improving the printing speed. On the basis, the non-thickening character with the thickening mark in the intermediate file is simply thickened through a preset image processing algorithm, so that a large number of increases of the vector diagram are not involved, and a large number of printing commands are not generated.
Through the technical scheme, the font thickening process which is originally in the middle file conversion process is canceled, and the non-thickened fonts which are required to be thickened and displayed in the middle file are thickened in the process of generating the printing language, so that a large number of vector images and corresponding printing commands can be avoided, the data processing amount in the printing process is greatly reduced, and the printing speed and the user experience are improved.

[ detailed description ] of the invention
For a better understanding of the technical solution of the present invention, the following detailed description of the embodiments of the present invention refers to the accompanying drawings.
It should be understood that the described embodiments are merely some, but not all, embodiments of the invention. All other embodiments, which can be made by those skilled in the art based on the embodiments of the invention without making any inventive effort, are intended to be within the scope of the invention.
The terminology used in the embodiments of the invention is for the purpose of describing particular embodiments only and is not intended to be limiting of the invention. As used in this application and the appended claims, the singular forms "a," "an," and "the" are intended to include the plural forms as well, unless the context clearly indicates otherwise.
Open source systems (e.g., linux systems) are increasingly developed by virtue of ecology, and users and developers of open source systems are increasingly growing; for example, the winning kylin, middle Ke Fangde, etc. all began to adopt the architecture of Linux. The operating system is usually based on a universal UNIX printing system (abbreviated as cup), and in the implementation scheme of cup printing, a print driver needs to call a Ghost Script to process an intermediate file. Specifically, it is often necessary to send an intermediate file, which converts a document to be printed into a format such as PDF, to a print driving apparatus, which can convert words in the document to be printed into a bitmap so that it becomes a PCL (bitmap font object) format recognizable to the printer.
In this way, during the process of printing a normal font (not bold), the print control device such as WPS transmits the normal font, and the PDF stores the normal font, and the Ghost Script converts the normal font into a bitmap font (bitmap) and into a PCL format (bitmap font object) that can be recognized by the print drive device.
However, for the processing of the bold-faced word, the print control apparatus needs to carry out the edge drawing and thickening of the bold-faced word in the process of producing the PDF file, that is, thickening the outline of the whole normal word to obtain the bold-faced word. In this way, when the Ghost Script processes PDF, the bold characters obtained by thickening the edges are converted into a large number of vector descriptions, the vector descriptions are obtained by combining a plurality of different vector graphics, and a plurality of printing commands are corresponding to the vector descriptions, so that the amount of data to be processed by the printing driving device is very large, and the printing speed is affected.
In view of this problem, the technical solution of the present invention provides a new printing method under the framework of the CPUS-based solution, so as to improve the printing speed, and the technical solution of the present invention is described in detail below through several embodiments and accompanying drawings.
Fig. 1 shows a flowchart of a print imaging method according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1, a printing imaging method according to an embodiment of the present invention is used for a printing imaging system including a printing control device and a printing driving device, and the flow of the method includes:
in step 102, the print control apparatus detects whether or not there is a bolded word in the document to be printed in response to the acquired print command.
In the printing imaging system, at least comprising a printing control device and a printing driving device, a user can perform printing operation on a client, the printing control device arranged in the client can receive a printing command (for example, the user clicks a printing operation in application software, the printing control device can receive a corresponding printing command), and the printing control device responds to the obtained printing command to detect whether a document to be printed has a bolded word or not.
Step 104, when the bold word is included in the document to be printed, the print control apparatus converts the bold word into a non-bold word in the process of converting the document to be printed into an intermediate file.
If the thickening word exists, the thickening word is converted into a non-thickening word in the process of converting the document to be printed into the intermediate file, so that the intermediate file does not have the thickening word, namely, the step of processing the thickening word is moved out of the process of processing the intermediate file, and then the thickening word is processed without a Ghost Script module of an operating system in the process of converting the intermediate file into a printing language, thereby avoiding generating a large number of corresponding printing commands, being beneficial to combining the subsequent work of a printing driving device, reducing the workload of the whole printing imaging system and improving the printing efficiency.
And 106, the printing control device sets a thickening identification for the non-thickening word converted from the thickening word in the intermediate file.
And step 108, the printing control device sends the intermediate file carrying the thickening identification to a printing driving device.
Step 110, the print driving device determines whether the intermediate file has a bold flag.
Step 112, when the result of the judgment is that the intermediate file has the thickening identification, the printing driving device performs thickening processing on the non-thickening word having the thickening identification in the intermediate file according to a preset image processing algorithm in the process of converting the intermediate file into a printing language.
The printing driving device can be arranged at the client side or at the printing equipment side, and can be independently arranged, after receiving the intermediate file, the printing driving device firstly needs to judge whether the intermediate file is provided with a thickening mark, if the intermediate file is provided with the thickening mark, the intermediate file is provided with thickening words, so that the thickening words can be identified through the thickening mark, and a preset image processing algorithm special for thickening the words in the non-thickening form is arranged in the printing driving device, and does not need to convert the thickening fonts into a large number of vector descriptions according to a Ghost Script module carried by an operating system; that is, the technical scheme provided by the embodiment adds a custom image processing algorithm for performing thickening processing on non-thickening words with thickening marks on the basis of a Ghost Script module of an operating system; the word with the bolded logo may be bolded using a predetermined image processing algorithm.
And 114, the printing driving device generates a printing driving instruction according to the thickened printing language.
On the basis of the embodiment shown in fig. 1, the method further comprises: the printing control device responds to the acquired printing command and acquires the function information of the connected printing driving device; inquiring whether the printing driving device corresponding to the printing control device meets a preset requirement or not according to the function information; and executing the step of detecting whether the document to be printed has the bolded word or not in the case that the printing driving device meets the predetermined requirement.
That is, the print control apparatus needs to judge the function support condition of the print driving apparatus before detecting whether or not there is a bolded word in the document to be printed, specifically, it is possible to acquire the function information of the connected print driving apparatus, and judge whether or not the print driving apparatus satisfies the predetermined requirement based on the function information, where the predetermined requirement is that the print driving apparatus has a function of bolding a word having a bolded mark using the preset image processing algorithm described in the embodiment shown in fig. 1, and the function information includes the mark information indicating whether the print driving apparatus has this function or does not, and therefore it is possible to judge whether or not the corresponding print driving apparatus can bold a word having a bolded mark using the preset image processing algorithm based on the function information. If so, the steps described in connection with the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 are entered to detect whether there are bolded words in the document to be printed. Otherwise, the document to be printed may be subjected to printing processing by a general printing method provided in the related art.
By the technical scheme, the problem of printing failure caused by the asynchronous functions of the printing control device and the printing driving device can be avoided, the printing driving device capable of applying the preset image processing algorithm and the printing driving device incapable of applying the preset image processing algorithm can be compatible, and practicability and convenience are provided for the printing process.
Fig. 2 shows a flowchart of a print control method according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 2, a print control method according to an embodiment of the present invention is used for a print control apparatus, the method including:
step 202, a print command is acquired.
In a printing image forming system including at least two parts of a printing control device and a printing driving device, a user can perform a printing operation at a client, and the printing control device provided in the client can receive a printing command, and the printing control device detects whether a document to be printed has a bolded word in response to the acquired printing command.
In response to the print command, it is detected whether there is a bolded word in the document to be printed, step 204.
If the thickening word exists, the thickening word is converted into a non-thickening word in the process of converting the document to be printed into the intermediate file, so that the intermediate file does not have the thickening word, namely, the step of generating the thickening word is moved out of the process of producing the intermediate file, and a large number of corresponding printing commands are not required to be generated for a large number of thickening words in the process of converting the intermediate file into a printing language, thereby being beneficial to combining the subsequent work of a printing driving device, reducing the workload of the whole printing imaging system and improving the printing efficiency.
And step 206, when the bold word is in the document to be printed, converting the bold word into a non-bold word in the process of converting the document to be printed into an intermediate file.
Step 208, setting a bold flag for the non-bold word converted from the bold word in the intermediate file.
Step 210, sending the intermediate file carrying the thickening identification to a printing driving device, so that the printing driving device performs thickening processing on the non-thickening word with the thickening identification in the process of converting the intermediate file into a printing language.
Fig. 3 shows a flowchart of a print control method according to another embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 3, a print control method according to another embodiment of the present invention is for a print control apparatus, the method including:
Step 302, a print command is acquired.
Step 304, in response to the print command, acquiring the function information of the connected print driving device.
Step 306, determining whether the print driving device has a function of thickening the non-thickened word according to the function information, if yes, proceeding to step 308, and if no, proceeding to step 310.
In response to the print command, it is detected whether there is a bolded word in the document to be printed, step 308.
And 310, printing the document to be printed in a common mode, and ending the process.
Wherein, in the case that the print driving device has a function of thickening the non-thickened word, step 308 is entered to detect whether the document to be printed has a thickening or not, and in the case that the print driving device does not have a function of thickening the non-thickened word, step 310 is entered to print the document to be printed in a normal manner.
Therefore, if the print control device directly changes the bold word into the non-bold word, if the print drive device does not support the bold processing in the process of converting the printing language, the printing of the bold word in the document to be printed fails or is performed in the form of the non-bold word, and the printing effect is affected. Therefore, this judgment step is added to ensure smooth progress of the print job.
Step 312, when the bold character is included in the document to be printed, it is determined whether the font to which the bold character belongs has a corresponding bold font, if yes, step 314 is entered, and if no, step 316 is entered.
Step 314, in the process of converting the document to be printed into the intermediate file, the bold word is directly sent to the print driving device according to the corresponding bold font format, so that the print driving device directly converts the intermediate file into the printing language.
If the bold word in the document to be printed has the corresponding bold font a ', the bold word of the original font a can be directly converted into the non-bold word under the bold font a ' in the process of converting to the intermediate file, so that the printing driving device does not need to perform the bold processing on the intermediate file, and the intermediate file is directly converted into the printing language by adopting a common printing mode, and the non-bold word under the bold font a ' is printed.
Therefore, the printing process can be flexibly simplified according to the actual font storage condition in the printing control device, and the printing speed can be improved.
Step 316, converting the bolded words into non-bolded words in the process of converting the document to be printed into an intermediate file.
Step 318, setting a bold flag for the non-bold word converted from the bold word in the intermediate file.
Step 320, sending the intermediate file carrying the thickening identification to a print driving device, so that the print driving device performs thickening processing on the non-thickening word with the thickening identification in the process of converting the intermediate file into a printing language.
As can be seen from the embodiments shown in fig. 2 and 3, the font thickening process that is originally in the middle file conversion process is eliminated, and the non-thickening fonts that need to be thickened and displayed in the middle file are thickened in the process of generating the printing language, so that a large number of vector diagrams and corresponding printing commands can be avoided, the data processing amount in the printing process is greatly reduced, and the printing speed and the user experience are improved.
Fig. 4 shows a flowchart of a print driving method according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 4, a print driving method according to an embodiment of the present invention is for a print driving apparatus, the method including:
step 402, an intermediate file from a print control apparatus is acquired.
Step 404, determining whether the intermediate file has a thickening identifier, if yes, proceeding to step 406, and if no, proceeding to step 408.
Step 406, in the process of converting the intermediate file into the printing language, performing thickening processing on the non-thickening word with the thickening identification in the intermediate file according to a preset image processing algorithm.
Wherein the bold flag is a custom format name set in advance in the print control apparatus and/or the print driving apparatus. If the intermediate file has the thickening mark, the non-thickening words converted from the thickening words are indicated in the intermediate file, and the non-thickening words with the thickening mark can be accurately printed on the document to be printed corresponding to the intermediate file only by re-thickening processing in the process of converting the intermediate file into the printing language.
Since the printing control device displays the thickened words in a non-thickened form when converting the document to be printed with the thickened words into the bitmap, the number of the formed vector images is greatly reduced, and accordingly, the printing command corresponding to the printing command in the printing driving device is greatly reduced, so that the calculation difficulty is reduced, and the printing speed is improved. On the basis, the non-thickening character with the thickening mark in the intermediate file is simply thickened through a preset image processing algorithm, so that a large number of increases of the vector diagram are not involved, and a large number of printing commands are not generated.
Step 408, directly converting the intermediate file into the printing language.
If the intermediate file does not have the thickening mark, the non-thickening character converted from the thickening character in the intermediate file is indicated, and thickening reduction processing is not needed, so that the intermediate file can be directly converted into the printing language by adopting a common printing mode.
Step 410, generating a print driving instruction according to the print language.
Finally, generating a printing driving instruction according to the obtained printing language, and sending the printing driving instruction to the printing equipment to image the document to be printed corresponding to the intermediate file.
The preset image processing algorithm comprises the following steps: performing binarization image gray level processing on the intermediate file to obtain a first image; in the process of traversing all pixels in the first image, converting adjacent white pixels of each black pixel into gray pixels to obtain a second image; performing binarization processing on the second image to obtain a third image; and generating the print language after the thickening processing according to the third image.
In the case that the intermediate file is a black-and-white binary image, the intermediate file may be subjected to binarization image gray scale processing to obtain a first image so as to implement word thickening by increasing gray pixels. The binarized image gray scale processing method is various, including but not limited to a component method, a maximum value method, an average value method and a weighted average method.
After the first image subjected to the binarization image gray scale processing is obtained, the adjacent white pixel of each black pixel can be converted into a gray pixel to obtain a second image, so that the range occupied by each black pixel in the second image is widened, namely thickened.
As shown in fig. 5, a horizontal line in the non-thickened word is composed of a row of black pixels, and each black pixel is converted into a gray pixel from the upper, lower, left and right white pixels, thereby realizing the thickening of the horizontal line. And then, performing binarization processing on the second image, restoring to obtain a third image, and finally, generating the coarsened printing language according to the third image. However, the present embodiment is not limited thereto, and all adjacent white pixels of each black pixel may be converted into gray pixels in a specific embodiment corresponding to the gray pixels; 1 and 2 … … can be added up, down, left and right, or 1 and 2 … … can be added only at the lower right to distinguish different thickening degrees.
Of course, the preset image processing algorithm includes, but is not limited to, the above manner, and in the thickening process in the above manner, the step of converting the adjacent white pixel of each black pixel into a gray pixel may be replaced by the following steps: white pixels in a specified adjacent range of each black pixel are converted into gray pixels, the specified adjacent range can be flexibly set according to font thickening requirements, and any pixel rate in any direction of the black pixels can be included.
Therefore, the printing driving device only needs to perform simple pixel expansion in the process of converting the printing language, does not need to deal with a large number of printing commands, does not involve a large number of increases of the vector diagram, still does not generate a large number of printing commands, and therefore, the calculation difficulty can be reduced, and the printing speed can be improved. According to the technical scheme, the font thickening process which is originally in the middle file conversion process is canceled, and the non-thickening fonts which need to be thickened and displayed in the middle file are subjected to simple and convenient thickening processing in the process of generating the printing language, so that a large number of vector images and corresponding printing commands can be avoided, the data processing amount in the printing process is greatly reduced, and the printing speed and the user experience are improved.
Fig. 6 shows a flowchart of a print imaging method according to another embodiment of the invention.
As shown in fig. 6, a printing imaging method according to another embodiment of the present invention is implemented by cooperation of two parts of application software and a driver, the method comprising the steps of:
step 602, the application software reads the flag in the print drive PPD, determines whether a new bold implementation is supported, and when the determination result is yes, proceeds to step 604, and when the determination result is no, proceeds to step 610.
In the printing imaging system, at least two parts are included, namely a printing control device and a printing driving device, wherein the printing control device comprises but is not limited to application software, and the driving program is installed on the printing driving device. Before printing, it is necessary to determine the function support of the driver, specifically, it is possible to obtain the function information of the connected driver, and determine whether the driver meets a predetermined requirement according to the function information, where the predetermined requirement refers to that the driver has a function of thickening a word having a thickening identification by applying a preset image processing algorithm described in the embodiment shown in fig. 1, and the function information includes identification information indicating that the driver has the function or does not have the function, so that it is possible to determine whether the corresponding driver can thicken the word having the thickening identification by applying the preset image processing algorithm according to the function information. If so, the steps described in connection with the embodiment shown in FIG. 1 are entered to detect whether there are bolded words in the document to be printed. Otherwise, the document to be printed may be subjected to printing processing by a general printing method provided in the related art. Therefore, the printing failure problem caused by the asynchronous functions of the application software and the driver can be avoided, and practicability and convenience are provided for the printing process.
Step 604, the application software judges whether the document has bold characters, if yes, the step 606 is entered, and if no, the step 610 is entered.
If there is a bold character, step 606 is entered, and it is determined whether a print mode for thickening the character with the thickened mark by applying a preset image processing algorithm is available, otherwise step 610 is entered, and printing is performed using a common print mode provided in the related art.
In step 606, the application software determines whether the bold font has a bold version, and if yes, proceeds to step 610, and if no, proceeds to step 608.
If the bold characters in the document to be printed have the corresponding bold fonts a ', the bold characters of the original fonts a can be directly converted into the non-bold characters under the bold fonts a ' in the process of converting the bold characters into the intermediate file, so that a driver does not need to perform the bold processing on the intermediate file, and the intermediate file is directly converted into a printing language by adopting a common printing mode to print the non-bold characters under the bold fonts a '.
At step 608, the application software cancels the step of using the contour thickening method.
At step 610, the application software executes the printing flow provided in the related art.
In step 612, the application software changes the font name of the Bold font, adds a Bold typeface to the font name, and generates a new PDF file.
The Bold word is a Bold mark, and is a custom format name set in the print control device and/or the print driving device in advance, and can be used for a driver to recognize Bold words.
In step 614, the driver determines that the font name in the PDF file received from the application software has Bold typeface.
In step 616, if the font name has Bold typeface, the driver program applies a preset image processing algorithm to thicken the font corresponding to the font name.
The driver recognizes Bold words from the Bold word and performs a Bold processing on the Bold words using a preset image processing algorithm, including but not limited to, a binary image gray scale processing mode.
In step 618, the driver generates a PCL command according to the thickening result, and sends the PCL command to the printer.
Finally, the driver sends a PCL command to the printer to drive the printer to perform a print job.
