Detailed Description
the invention is described in detail below with reference to the attached drawing figures:
the first embodiment is as follows:
referring to fig. 1, the present invention provides a sensor 101 for a brake pedal of a vehicle. The sensor 101 is for being disposed on the brake pedal 200 of the vehicle and for sensing the magnetic field strength of the magnetic element 300. The sensor 101 includes a sensing element 10 and a processing device 30.
the sensing element 10 is used to sense the magnetic field strength of the magnetic element 300. The sensing element 10 is provided on a brake pedal 200 of a vehicle and outputs a sensing signal. The sensing element 10 may use physical quantities such as electrical signals to characterize the magnetic field strength. Preferably, the sensing element 10 outputs a voltage signal to characterize the corresponding magnetic field strength. In order to accurately and conveniently characterize the magnetic field strength, the voltage signal output by the sensing element 10 is related to the magnetic field strength, such as a linear function. Accordingly, in the present embodiment, the magnitude of the voltage value corresponding to the sensing signal of the sensing element 10 is linearly related to the distance (between the sensing element 10 and the magnetic element 200).
When the sensor 101 is first installed to the brake pedal, the sensor 101 forms an electrical loop, and the sensing element 10 is electrically operated. At this time, the sensor 101 can sense the magnetic field strength when the brake pedal 200 is at the initial free position, and output an initial sensing signal in the form of a voltage value. Accordingly, when the sensor 101 moves to any position following the brake pedal 200, a corresponding sensing signal can be generated. When the brake pedal 200 moves to the preset trigger position Lt, the sensing element 10 outputs a sensing signal representing the trigger signal.
the specific type, specification, type, etc. of the sensing element 10 are only required to be suitable for sensing the corresponding magnetic field strength. To facilitate the sensing signal, which is characteristic of the magnetic field strength, to be embodied as an electrical signal, the sensing element 10 is a hall element. That is, the sensing element 10 performs its function based on the hall effect. Further, to facilitate accurately characterizing the linear correlation between the magnetic field strength sensed by the sensing element 10 and the distance, the sensing element 10 is a linear hall chip. That is, the sensing element 10 is a linear hall effect chip. The sensing element 10 may be a 2D hall chip or a 3D hall chip, as desired.
Accordingly, there is a physical spatial separation D between the sensing element 10 and the magnetic element 200. That is, the sensing element 10 and the magnetic element 200 are spaced apart from each other. Accordingly, the sensor 101 can avoid mechanical contact, and the function thereof is realized in a non-contact manner, so that the problems of error, abrasion and the like caused by mechanical contact are avoided.
Referring to fig. 2, fig. 3a and fig. 3b, the processing device 30 is used for processing the sensing signal output by the sensing element 10. The processing device 30 may be electrically connected to the sensing element 10. Accordingly, the processing device 30 may be electrically coupled with the sensing element 10 as long as the transmission of the corresponding electrical signal is achieved. Accordingly, the processing means 30 may process the respective voltage signal. It will be appreciated that the processing of the corresponding electrical signals may take many forms, such as at least one of an electronic circuit, an integrated circuit (chip), and a logic element. To facilitate the processing of the signals and save space, the processing device 30 may be a microprocessor. Specifically, the processing device 30 may adopt a microprocessor such as a Central Processing Unit (CPU) or a single chip Microcomputer (MCU) to realize its functions.
The processing device 30 receives the sensing signal output by the sensing element 10. Accordingly, the processing device 30 receives the sensing signal in the form of a voltage signal and processes the sensing signal. In particular, the processing device 30 may read the sensing signal obtained by the sensing element 10. The processing device 30 calculates a trigger threshold corresponding to a preset trigger signal according to the initial sensing signal output by the sensing element 10. The trigger threshold may correspond to a certain preset voltage threshold, that is, a trigger voltage threshold. Preferably, to facilitate the processing of the signal, the processing device 30 sums an initial voltage value Vf corresponding to the sensed initial sensing signal and a preset constant voltage value Vc, so as to obtain a trigger voltage threshold Vt corresponding to the trigger signal.
preferably, the processing means 30 comprise a calculation unit 31. The calculating unit 31 sums an initial voltage value Vf corresponding to the initial sensing signal with a predetermined voltage constant value Vc, and obtains a trigger voltage threshold Vt corresponding to the trigger signal. The calculating unit 31 may be implemented by a circuit such as a corresponding adding circuit, or by a component having a calculating function.
further, the processing device 30 further comprises a storage unit 33. The storage unit 33 is used for storing corresponding data, operation programs and the like. In particular, the storage unit 33 may be used to store a voltage constant value. The voltage constant value Vc characterizes the increment of the voltage value of the sensing element 10 when the brake pedal 200 moves from the initial free position Lf to the trigger position Lt. The storage unit 33 may be a corresponding memory. For example, the storage unit 33 may be a memory of a single chip Microcomputer (MCU).
in order to avoid that the sensing element 10 is triggered to calculate when it is not mounted to the brake pedal 200 and thus obtains a less accurate "trigger voltage threshold", the processing device 30 further comprises a triggering unit 35. When the initial voltage value Vf corresponding to the initial sensing signal output by the sensing device 10 falls within the preset trigger voltage range V01-V02, the triggering unit 35 triggers the processing device 30 to calculate the trigger voltage threshold Vt. Accordingly, the preset trigger voltage range V01-V02 may be a voltage range configured for the voltage values generated by the sensor 101 when following the brake pedal 200 at any position. That is, the voltage values that may be generated by the sensor 101 during the whole life cycle of the operation are included in the preset trigger voltage range V01-V02. The sensor 101 may be powered up due to an erroneous operation, a test, etc., and the signal sensed by the sensing element 10 may not be the voltage signal when the brake pedal 200 is in the free state, and the "trigger threshold" obtained based on the signal may not be accurate and does not meet the sensing accuracy requirement. Accordingly, the triggering unit 35 is configured to trigger the calculating unit 31 of the processing device 30 to perform the calculation only when the voltage value corresponding to the sensing signal outputted by the sensing element 10 is within the preset triggering voltage range V01-V02, and not trigger the calculating unit 31 of the processing device 30 when the voltage value corresponding to the sensing signal is beyond (smaller than or larger than) the preset triggering voltage range V01-V02. When the voltage value corresponding to the sensing signal output by the sensing element 10 is within the preset trigger voltage range V01-V02, the trigger unit 35 may output a high-level signal; conversely, the trigger unit 35 outputs a low level signal. The trigger unit 35 may adopt corresponding circuits, components or logic elements to realize functions thereof. For example, the trigger unit 35 may be specifically configured by a trigger, a trigger circuit, or even a diode.
Accordingly, the preset trigger voltage range V01-V02 of the sensor 101 corresponds to the allowable position range L01-L02 of the brake pedal 200 within the tolerance range. Accordingly, the voltage signal sensed by the sensor 101 is linearly related to the position of the brake pedal 200. More specifically, the brake pedal 200 is preset to move a distance Lc. Accordingly, the preset moving distance Lc of the brake pedal 200 is the distance that the brake pedal 200 moves from the initial free position Lf to the trigger position Lt. The preset moving distance Lc of the brake pedal 200 can be set to be a constant, so that the sensor 101 can be accurately triggered to send out corresponding control signals when the brake pedal 200 at different initial (height) positions is stepped on by a constant stroke (namely Lc).
In order to make the triggering threshold obtained when the sensor 101 is first mounted on the brake pedal 200 less susceptible to alteration, the processing device 30 further comprises a closing unit 37. The shutdown unit 37 is configured to shut down the computing function of the processing device 30. That is, when the processing device 30 calculates the trigger voltage threshold Vt, the shutdown unit shuts down the calculation function of the processing device 30. Accordingly, the closing unit 37 may be a corresponding switching device, a switching circuit, a corresponding switching logic program, or even a component such as a fuse that destroys the physical structure of the computing unit 31. In this embodiment, the shutdown unit 37 inhibits reprogramming by setting a flag bit with a single chip, so that the sensors 101 are used to directly obtain sensing signals after being powered on for the first time, and the triggering ignition threshold Vt does not need to be obtained by recalculation.
Accordingly, when the brake pedal 200 moves to the preset trigger position Lt, the sensing unit 10 outputs a trigger signal. The processing means 30 receives the trigger signal and outputs a corresponding control signal. Specifically, the control signal corresponds to a voltage signal Vs. The control signal may be a binary signal. Accordingly, when the binary signal corresponding to the control signal is "0", the processing device 30 outputs a low level signal Vl. When the binary signal corresponding to the control signal is "1", the processing device 30 outputs a high level signal Vh. The binary signal output by the processing device 30 may be a brake light switch signal or a vehicle start signal according to application requirements. That is, the binary signal may be a switching signal for turning on or off the brake light; the binary signal may also be a signal for the brake pedal 200 to step on to a predetermined position and start the vehicle.
In order to facilitate the processing of the corresponding binary signal by the processing means 30, the processing means 30 further comprises a comparing unit 39. The comparison unit 39 is configured to compare a voltage value corresponding to the sensing signal output by the sensing element 10 with a voltage value corresponding to the trigger voltage threshold Vt. When the voltage value corresponding to the sensing signal is smaller than the voltage value corresponding to the trigger voltage threshold Vt, the sensor 30 outputs a low level signal; when the sensing signal is greater than the voltage value corresponding to the trigger voltage threshold Vt, the sensor 30 outputs a high level signal. Accordingly, the high level signal may be a valid value that triggers, for example, the turning on of brake lights. The comparing unit 39 can be implemented by a corresponding circuit, a comparator or a logic program depending on a single chip microcomputer and the like.
to facilitate the transmission of the respective electrical signals and to improve the overall integration performance of the sensor 101, the sensor 101 comprises a circuit board. The circuit board is used for supporting the processing device 30 and the sensing element 10. Accordingly, the circuit board is electrically connected to the processing device 30 and the sensing element 10, and performs transmission of corresponding electrical signals.
In a preferred embodiment, the trigger signal output by the processing device 30 is a switch signal for turning on/off the brake light 400. Accordingly, to facilitate control of the on and off of, for example, the brake light 400, the sensor 101 further includes a drive unit 70. The driving unit 70 may be a corresponding driving circuit. The driving unit 70 receives the trigger signal and turns on or off the brake lamp 400 according to the trigger signal.
In order to make the sensing element 10 and the processing device 30 work stably, the sensor 101 further includes a voltage stabilizing unit 60. Preferably, the sensor 101 receives a 12V supply voltage provided by the vehicle. The voltage stabilizing unit 60 stabilizes the 12-volt power supply voltage to a 5V operating voltage, and provides the operating voltage to the hall chip as the sensing element 10 and the single chip as the processing device 30. In the present embodiment, the voltage stabilizing unit 60 includes a Low Dropout Regulator (LDO).
As an example, the working principle of the sensor 101 is further explained: the preset trigger voltage range V01-V02 of the sensor 101 may be 1-4V. Accordingly, the tolerance allowed range of positions (distance from a reference) L01-L02 for the brake pedal 200 is 10-40 mm. The preset moving distance Lc of the brake pedal 200 is 20 mm. Correspondingly, the predetermined constant voltage value Vc is 2V. When the corresponding position Lf is 12mm when the brake pedal 200 is in a free state (first loaded, not yet stepped on), and the corresponding initial voltage value Vf obtained by the sensing element 10 is 1.2V, the corresponding trigger voltage threshold Vt calculated by the processing device 30 is calculated to be 3.2V by summing 1.2V + 2V. That is, the sensor 101 may obtain the corresponding trigger voltage threshold Vt through the first loading and powering up (electrical conduction to form an electrical loop). Thereafter, when the brake pedal 200 is stepped on and moved by a distance of 20mm each time (corresponding to a trigger position such as a braking position), the sensing element 10 outputs a trigger signal corresponding to a voltage value of 3.2V, and causes the processing device 30 to output a corresponding control signal, such as a switching operation of the brake lamp 400.
As another example, when the brake pedal 200 is in a free state (loaded for the first time, not stepped yet), the corresponding position Lf is 15mm, and the corresponding initial voltage value Vf obtained by the sensing element 10 is 1.5V, then the corresponding trigger voltage threshold Vt calculated by the processing device 30 is calculated to be 3.5V by summing 1.5V + 2V. That is, the sensor 101 may obtain the corresponding trigger voltage threshold Vt through the first loading and powering up (electrical conduction to form an electrical loop). Thereafter, when the brake pedal 200 is stepped on and moved by a distance of 20mm each time (corresponding to a trigger position such as a braking position), the sensing element 10 outputs a trigger signal corresponding to a voltage value of 3.5V, and causes the processing device 30 to output a corresponding control signal, such as a switching operation of the brake lamp 400.
that is, regardless of the position (height) of the brake pedal 200 in the initial free state, when the brake pedal 200 moves a preset distance (corresponding to the trigger position), the sensor 101 can be triggered and send a corresponding control signal.
Example two:
with continued reference to FIG. 1, the present invention also provides a sensor assembly 103 for a brake pedal of a vehicle. The sensor device 103 comprises a support 50, a magnetic element 300 and a sensor 101 according to the above description.
the support 50 is used to support other structures of the sensor device 101. The support 50 can be used to fixedly mount the sensor device 101 to a vehicle. The specific shape and configuration of the support member 50 may be sufficient to meet the support requirements. In this embodiment, the support 50 may be an injection molded housing.
the magnetic element 300 remains stationary relative to the vehicle. The magnetic member 300 provides a magnetic field of corresponding strength in a three-dimensional space. Accordingly, the magnetic member 300 emits magnetic lines of force 308 in three-dimensional space. The type, specification and parameters of the magnetic member 300 are only required to generate a magnetic field that can be sensed by the sensing element 10. The magnetic member 300 may be a magnet. Further, the magnetic member 300 may be a permanent magnet or an electromagnet. In this embodiment, the magnetic member 300 is a permanent magnet.
Example three:
Referring to fig. 4, the present invention further provides a sensing method. The sensing method is used to sense the position of the brake pedal 200. The sensing method comprises the following steps:
S110: sensing the magnetic field intensity of the brake pedal 200 in an initial free state (initial state) and acquiring an initial sensing signal; the initial sensing signal corresponds to an initial voltage value Vf;
S120: calculating a trigger voltage threshold value Vt according to the initial voltage value Vf; the threshold Vt corresponds to a trigger signal.
Accordingly, the sensing method may sense the magnetic field strength using the aforementioned sensing element 10 and obtain a corresponding initial sensing signal. It is understood that the magnetic field strength of the brake pedal 200 in the initial free state may be the size strength of the space in which the brake pedal 200 itself is located, or the magnetic field strength of the space in which the sensing element 10 is located (the relative position is constant) in linkage with the brake pedal 200. The sensing element 10 outputs an initial sensing signal to the aforementioned processing means 30. The processing device 30 calculates a trigger voltage threshold Vt according to an initial voltage value Vf corresponding to the initial sensing signal. Specifically, the processing device 30 calculates Vt by: vf + Vc (preset constant voltage value) ═ Vt.
referring to fig. 5, preferably, the sensing method performs the following operations before calculating the trigger voltage threshold Vt:
s102: judging whether the voltage value corresponding to the sensing signal falls within a preset trigger voltage range V01-V02;
s104: when the voltage value corresponding to the sensing signal falls within a preset trigger voltage range V01-V02, the operation of calculating the trigger voltage threshold Vt is triggered.
Accordingly, the sensing method may use the corresponding determining unit 36 to determine whether the voltage value corresponding to the sensing signal falls within the preset trigger voltage range V01-V02, so as to avoid an erroneous operation, and ensure that the sensor 101 performs the operation of calculating the trigger voltage threshold Vt only when the vehicle is first loaded. At this time, the trigger unit 35 connected in communication (electrical) with the determination unit 36 triggers the operation of the calculation unit 31 to calculate the trigger voltage threshold Vt. Accordingly, the trigger voltage threshold Vt may be stored in the corresponding memory cell 33.
Referring to fig. 6, preferably, the sensing method performs the following operations after calculating the trigger voltage threshold Vt:
s112: the operation of recalculating the trigger voltage threshold Vt is turned off.
accordingly, the sensing method may shut down the calculation function of the calculation unit 31 using the aforementioned shut down unit 37. That is, after the sensor 101 is powered on for the first time to obtain the trigger voltage threshold Vt, the operation of recalculating the trigger voltage threshold Vt is prohibited, so as to improve the response speed of the subsequent sensing operation of the sensor 101. Preferably, the shutdown unit 37 can read whether the trigger voltage threshold Vt exists in the memory cell 33. When the trigger voltage threshold Vt exists in the memory cell 33, the shutdown unit 37 performs a shutdown operation of recalculating the calculation unit 31.
referring to fig. 7, preferably, after calculating the trigger voltage threshold Vt, the sensing method performs the following operations:
s130: the position of the brake pedal 200 is sensed and a control signal is output according to the sensed trigger signal.
at this time, the brake pedal 200 moves to the triggering position, and the sensing element 10 senses a triggering signal corresponding to the triggering voltage threshold Vt; the trigger signal triggers the processing means 30 to output a control signal.
referring to fig. 8, further, preferably, the sensing method performs the following operations after calculating the trigger voltage threshold Vt:
s132: sensing the position of the brake pedal 200 and outputting a sensing signal;
s134: comparing the magnitude between a voltage value corresponding to the sensing signal and a trigger voltage threshold Vt;
S136 a: when the voltage value corresponding to the sensing signal is smaller than the voltage value corresponding to the trigger voltage threshold value Vt, outputting a first control signal;
S136 b: and outputting a second control signal when the voltage value corresponding to the sensing signal is greater than the voltage value corresponding to the trigger voltage threshold value Vt.
At this time, the sensor 101 starts a sensing operation, and the sensing method may sense a corresponding position of the brake pedal 200 through the sensing element 10 and output a sensing signal. The processing device 30 receives the sensing signal and compares the voltage value corresponding to the sensing signal with the trigger voltage threshold Vt corresponding to the trigger signal through the comparing unit 39.
