Description

Thermal transfer ribbon suitable for printing bills
Technical Field
The invention relates to a thermal transfer printing material, in particular to a thermal transfer printing carbon ribbon suitable for printing bills.
Background
The thermal transfer printing ribbon is a ribbon for printing planar patterns such as pictures, texts, labels, bar codes and the like, and comprises a base band and transfer printing ink attached to the base band, wherein a certain point of the thermal transfer printing ribbon is heated by the heat of a high-temperature printing head on a printer to melt the transfer printing ink, so that the transfer printing ink is transferred and adhered to a printing stock, and the characters, the patterns or the bar codes are formed by dot matrixes formed on the printing stock through the printing head.
The existing thermal transfer printing carbon tape can comprise a base tape, a back coating layer, a stripping layer, a color layer and an adhesive layer, and the quality of the thermal transfer printing carbon tape depends on whether transfer printing ink is easily transferred to a printing stock or not, and the thermal transfer printing carbon tape is firmly adhered to the printing stock and is wear-resistant.
After the thermal transfer printing carbon ribbon for printing bills such as checks, invoices and the like is used, ink of the carbon ribbon at a printing position is transferred to a printing stock to form a notch, the notch trace identical to the printing image-text is left on the ink layer, and the printing trace is also generated on the printing position of the base band due to thermal shock of the printing head. Since these traces contain ticket information that needs to be protected from repeated use or even illegal use, timely destruction is required. Therefore, the thermal transfer printing carbon tape for printing bills requires that the printing traces on the carbon tape after use can be destroyed in addition to the firm and wear-resistant adhesion of the printing ink on the printing stock.
The simple idea is to use tools such as an erasing roller, a scraper, a rough appliance or a metal brush to erase or grind residual ink on the carbon ribbon, but because the existing thermal transfer printing carbon ribbon needs higher printing head temperature and printing force, the printing trace can still be seen after the residual ink on the carbon ribbon is erased or ground, and the printing trace on the substrate is not eliminated.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a thermal transfer ribbon which can erase residual ink on a printed ribbon and reduce or eliminate printing marks of a base tape, thereby being applicable to printing bills.
The thermal transfer carbon belt comprises a base belt, wherein one side of the base belt is provided with a back coating, and the other side of the base belt is sequentially provided with a stripping layer, a protective layer, a color layer and an adhesive layer, and is characterized in that the stripping layer is a coating layer consisting of 90-95 wt% of C16-C20 fatty alcohol and 5-10 wt% of glyceryl monostearate, the protective layer is a synthetic resin coating layer, and the color layer is a composition of 20-50% of synthetic resin, 50-80% of colorant and filler.
In the invention, the base band can adopt a PET film with the thickness of 3-6 μm as a carrier film.
The release layer is a coating of 30-40 wt% of hexadecanol, 50-65 wt% of octadecanol and 5-10 wt% of glyceryl monostearate, and the coating weight is 0.6-1.0 g/m.
The protective layer becomes a printing stock pattern layer surface layer after transfer printing to protect the color layer. The protective layer is made of polymer soluble in organic solvent, such as acrylic resin, polyamide resin, phenolic resin, alkyd resin, etc., and the coating amount of the protective layer is 2-5 g/sq m.
The coloring agent in the color layer may be a dye or a pigment, and for making the coloring effect vivid and beautiful, more than 2 kinds of pigments or dyes may be used for toning, and the commonly used pigments or dyes are carbon black, iron blue, iron red, phthalocyanine blue, phthalocyanine green, permanent red 2B, permanent red 7B, lithol red, carmine 6B, benzidine yellow 2G, permanent yellow GT, and the like. The ink layer is filled with inorganic mineral powder such as talcum powder, limestone powder, titanium dioxide, magnesium oxide, aluminum oxide, etc. The pigment or filler generally has a nano-scale or sub-nano-scale particle size, and can be microencapsulated first. The coating weight of the ink layer is 3-10 g/square meter.
The task of the adhesive layer is to achieve better adhesion with a printing stock, the printing stock used as a ticket is usually paper, the pressure-sensitive adhesive can achieve better adhesion in the printing process of a printer, and ink outside a printing point cannot be easily adhered to the printing stock under the condition of no pressure. The coating weight of the bonding layer is 2-5 g/square meter. The optional pressure-sensitive adhesive comprises natural rubber type pressure-sensitive adhesive, synthetic rubber type pressure-sensitive adhesive, acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive, organic silicon type pressure-sensitive adhesive and polyurethane type pressure-sensitive adhesive.
The back coating prevents static electricity, evens out heat and reduces friction to protect the printhead. The back coating has high heat resistance requirement and good lubricating property, and has a dynamic friction coefficient of less than 0.3 and a static friction coefficient of less than 0.2. A polyurethane elastomer or a silicone resin material may be used as the back coating layer of the base tape, and preferably a silicone resin material is used as the back coating layer of the base tape, and furthermore, wax or stearic acid may be added to the polyurethane elastomer or the silicone resin as a friction reducing additive to reduce the sliding friction coefficient of the coating layer. The coating weight of the back coating is 0.2-1 g/m.
The coating weight is the amount of the solid material covered on the thermal transfer printing carbon ribbon after the solvent is removed by coating and drying.
The melting temperature of the stripping layer is 45-55 ℃, residual printing ink after printing can be easily scraped by using the friction of a cutter, a rough appliance and the like under the conditions of no need of heating and no damage to the base band, the printing traces can be destroyed, and the printing traces of the base band can be eliminated by reducing the temperature of the printing head or the printing time.

Color layer: 30wt% of copolymer formed by terephthalic acid, phthalic acid, adipic acid and ethylene glycol according to the molar ratio of 1: 0.06: 0.1: 1.3, 40wt% of carbon black, 30wt% of talcum powder, and solvent: methyl ethyl ketone/xylene/ethanol = 1: 1 (volume ratio), forming a solution with a solid content of 12wt%, and coating the solutionThe amount is 5g/M2
Bonding layer: the solid content of the polyurethane pressure-sensitive adhesive is 8 weight percent, and the coating weight is 3g/M2
And coating a back coating on one surface of the base band on a multicolor printing machine, coating a stripping layer on the other surface of the base band after drying, coating a protective layer after drying, coating a color layer after drying, coating an adhesive layer after drying, and rolling into a product after drying.
The following tests were performed on the product:
the check printer is adopted to print the pictures and texts, the printing stock is paper, the printing stock is respectively printed from the level 0-30 of the printer calibration energy level, the lower energy level represents the lower printing temperature, the printed pictures and texts are taken as the reference, and the clear pictures and texts can be printed when the test result is more than the level 12. Carrying out residual ink erasing on the carbon ribbon after printing with the energy level of 12-14: the residual ink on the carbon tape can be completely erased by wiping the carbon tape with an enameled wire coil with the diameter of 0.2mm, and no trace of printed pictures and texts is left after observing the base tape.
