The backlight module is used for emitting light rays, wherein the backlight temperature is greatly increased to cause the light rays emitted by the backlight module to have a first color deviation. The temperature of the liquid crystal is greatly increased, so that a second color deviation exists between the chromaticity of the light emitted by the backlight module before and after the light passes through the liquid crystal module. In order to eliminate the severe color shift, the corrected chromaticity of the display module is calculated for the first color shift and the second color shift. A correction color shift exists between the correction chromaticity and the design chromaticity, and the correction color shift is less than or equal to the design color shift. And then adjusting the pixel voltage of the liquid crystal module according to the corrected chromaticity. The pixel voltage determines the chromaticity of the light of the backlight module which is emitted through the liquid crystal module, thereby determining the display chromaticity. The pixel voltage is adjusted such that the display chromaticity becomes a corrected chromaticity and the display color shift is less than or equal to the design color shift. Therefore, when the backlight temperature or the liquid crystal temperature greatly rises, the image of the display module does not have any color cast or has slight color cast, and the display effect of the display module is excellent.

Fig. 1 is a schematic structural diagram of a display module according to an embodiment of the invention.
As shown in fig. 1, the display module 100 includes a backlight module 110 and a liquid crystal module 120. The display module 100 utilizes the light emitted from the backlight module 110 to emit through the liquid crystal module 120 to display images. However, the transmittance of the liquid crystal layer in the liquid crystal module 120 is not high, which reduces the transmittance of the light of the backlight module 110 passing through the liquid crystal module 120, thereby affecting the image of the display module 100. Therefore, the brightness of the backlight module 110 needs to be increased, which makes the brightness of the light emitted from the backlight module 110 through the liquid crystal module 120 high, so that the image of the display module 100 is clear. However, when the brightness of the backlight module 110 is increased, the backlight module 110 generates and emits a large amount of heat, and the backlight temperature of the backlight module 110 and the liquid crystal temperature of the liquid crystal module 120 are both increased greatly. On the other hand, the liquid crystal temperature of the liquid crystal module 120 is greatly increased, so that the refractive index of the liquid crystal layer in the liquid crystal module 120 is changed. On the other hand, the backlight temperature of the backlight module 110 is greatly increased, so that the light emission spectrum of the backlight module 110 is changed. Thus, the image of the display module 100 has a severe color shift, so that the display effect of the display module 100 is not good.
Fig. 2 is a flowchart illustrating a display control method according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 1 and 2, the display control method 200 is used for controlling the display module 100 to display; the display module 100 includes a backlight module 110 and a liquid crystal module 120; the display control method 200 includes:
step S210, determining the design chromaticity and the design color cast of the display module 100;
step S220, obtaining the display chromaticity of the display module 100;
step S230, judging the display color cast between the display chromaticity and the design chromaticity;
step S240, when the display color cast is larger than the design color cast, acquiring the backlight temperature of the backlight module 110 and the liquid crystal temperature of the liquid crystal module 120;
step S250, calculating a first color shift corresponding to the backlight temperature and a second color shift corresponding to the liquid crystal temperature;
step S260, calculating a corrected chromaticity of the display module 100 for the first color shift and the second color shift;
in step S270, the pixel voltage of the liquid crystal module 120 is adjusted according to the corrected chromaticity.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the display chromaticity is the depth of the color in the image of the display module 100, the color shift is equivalent to the chromaticity difference, that is, the design color shift is equivalent to the preset chromaticity difference value, and the display color shift is equivalent to the difference between the display chromaticity and the design chromaticity. When the display chromaticity is equal to the design chromaticity, the image of the display module 100 does not have any color shift, and the display effect of the display module 100 is excellent. When the display chromaticity is not equal to the design chromaticity, there is a display color shift between the display chromaticity and the design chromaticity. When the display color shift is smaller than or equal to the design color shift, the image of the display module 100 has slight color shift, and the display effect of the display module 100 is excellent. When the display color shift is larger than the design color shift, the image of the display module 100 has a serious color shift, and the display effect of the display module 100 is not good. The display chromaticity and the display color shift vary due to a change in the backlight temperature or the liquid crystal temperature. When the backlight temperature or the liquid crystal temperature is increased greatly, the image of the display module 100 has a severe color shift. The backlight temperature is greatly increased, so that the light emitted from the backlight module 110 has a first color shift. The temperature of the liquid crystal is greatly increased, so that a second color shift exists between the chromaticity of the light emitted from the backlight module 110 before and after the light passes through the liquid crystal module 120. In order to eliminate the severe color shift, the corrected chromaticity of the display module 100 is calculated for the first color shift and the second color shift. A correction color shift exists between the correction chromaticity and the design chromaticity, and the correction color shift is less than or equal to the design color shift. Then, the pixel voltage of the liquid crystal module 120 is adjusted according to the corrected chromaticity. The pixel voltage determines the chromaticity of the light emitted from the backlight module 110 through the liquid crystal module 120, thereby determining the display chromaticity. The pixel voltage is adjusted such that the display chromaticity becomes a corrected chromaticity and the display color shift is less than or equal to the design color shift. Therefore, when the backlight temperature or the liquid crystal temperature is greatly increased, the image of the display module 100 has no color cast or has slight color cast, and the display effect of the display module 100 is excellent.
Fig. 3 is a schematic structural diagram of a display device according to an embodiment of the invention.
As shown in fig. 3, the display device 400 is an in-vehicle display device, and the display device 400 is used in an automobile.
In the embodiment of the present invention, in the automobile, the display device 400 includes the display module 100, and the image of the display module 100 is projected on the front windshield so that the driver and the passenger see the image directly in front. The brightness of the backlight module 110 needs to be increased, which makes the brightness of the light emitted from the backlight module 110 through the liquid crystal module 120 high, so that the image of the display module 100 is clear. However, when the brightness of the backlight module 110 is increased, the backlight module 110 generates and emits a large amount of heat, and the backlight temperature of the backlight module 110 and the liquid crystal temperature of the liquid crystal module 120 are both increased greatly. Thus, the image of the display module 100 has a severe color shift. In order to eliminate the severe color shift, the corrected chromaticity of the display module 100 is calculated for the first color shift and the second color shift.
Fig. 4 is a flowchart illustrating another display control method according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 4, the display control method 200 further includes:
in step S280, the pixel voltage of the liquid crystal module 120 is adjusted according to the corrected chromaticity, and then the display color shift between the display chromaticity and the design chromaticity is repeatedly determined.
In the embodiment of the invention, in order to eliminate the serious color cast, the pixel voltage is adjusted according to the corrected chromaticity, so that the display chromaticity and the display color cast are changed. The display chromaticity may become a corrected chromaticity, and the display color shift is less than or equal to the design color shift. However, the display chromaticity may not be changed to the corrected chromaticity, and the display color shift may be larger than the design color shift. Adjusting the pixel voltage based on the corrected chromaticity at a time does not necessarily eliminate the serious color shift. Here, it is necessary to repeatedly determine the display color shift between the display chromaticity and the design chromaticity after adjusting the pixel voltage of the liquid crystal module 120 according to the corrected chromaticity. This determines whether the changed display color shift is less than or equal to the design color shift. When the changed display color cast is less than or equal to the designed color cast, the pixel voltage is adjusted according to the corrected chromaticity to eliminate the serious color cast. When the changed display color shift is larger than the designed color shift, the pixel voltage is adjusted according to the corrected chromaticity once without eliminating the serious color shift, and then the pixel voltage is adjusted according to the corrected chromaticity again. Finally, the pixel voltage is adjusted according to the corrected chromaticity to eliminate the serious color shift, so that the display effect of the display module 100 is excellent.
Fig. 5 is a flowchart illustrating another display control method according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 5, the display control method 200 further includes:
in step S235, after the display color shift between the display chromaticity and the design chromaticity is determined, when the display color shift is less than or equal to the design color shift, the pixel voltage is maintained.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the display color shift between the display chromaticity and the design chromaticity is determined to determine whether the display color shift is smaller than or equal to the design color shift. When the display color shift is smaller than or equal to the design color shift, no color shift or slight color shift exists in the image of the display module 100, and the display effect of the display module 100 is excellent. In this case, the pixel voltage is maintained without removing the serious color shift. The pixel voltage determines the chromaticity of the light emitted from the backlight module 110 through the liquid crystal module 120, thereby determining the display chromaticity. The pixel voltage is maintained such that the display chromaticity is not changed, and the display color shift is maintained to be less than or equal to the design color shift. Therefore, the image of the display module 100 has no color shift or slight color shift, and the display effect of the display module 100 is excellent.
Fig. 6 is a flowchart illustrating another display control method according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 6, the display control method 200 further includes:
step S245, before calculating the first color shift corresponding to the backlight temperature and the second color shift corresponding to the liquid crystal temperature, determining the relationship between the backlight temperature and the first color shift and the relationship between the liquid crystal temperature and the second color shift.
In the embodiment of the invention, the light emitted from the backlight module 110 has the first color shift due to the large increase of the backlight temperature. The first color shift becomes larger due to the rise of the backlight temperature, and the backlight temperature and the first color shift are correlated with each other. The temperature of the liquid crystal is greatly increased, so that a second color shift exists between the chromaticity of the light emitted from the backlight module 110 before and after the light passes through the liquid crystal module 120. The second color shift becomes larger due to the rise of the liquid crystal temperature, and the liquid crystal temperature and the second color shift are correlated with each other. Here, the relationship between the backlight temperature and the first color shift and the relationship between the liquid crystal temperature and the second color shift can be determined. And then calculating a first color shift corresponding to the backlight temperature according to the relation between the backlight temperature and the first color shift. And meanwhile, calculating a second color cast corresponding to the liquid crystal temperature according to the relation between the liquid crystal temperature and the second color cast. Then, a correction chromaticity is calculated for the first and second color offsets, and the pixel voltage is adjusted according to the correction chromaticity.
As shown in fig. 6, the display control method 200 further includes:
in step S255, before the corrected chromaticity of the display module 100 is calculated for the first color shift and the second color shift, the relationship between the first color shift and the corrected chromaticity and the relationship between the second color shift and the corrected chromaticity are determined.
In the embodiment of the present invention, the calculation of the correction chromaticity for the first color shift and the second color shift is required according to a relationship between the correction chromaticity and the first color shift and the second color shift. The correction chromaticity is increased or decreased by a change in the first color shift and the second color shift, and the correction chromaticity is correlated with the first color shift and the second color shift. Here, a relationship between the first color shift and the corrected chromaticity and a relationship between the second color shift and the corrected chromaticity may be determined. Then, the correction chromaticity is calculated for the first color shift and the second color shift based on the relationship between the first color shift and the second color shift and the correction chromaticity. Thereafter, the pixel voltage is adjusted according to the corrected chromaticity.
As shown in fig. 6, the display control method 200 further includes:
in step S265, the relationship between the correction chromaticity and the pixel voltage is determined before the pixel voltage of the liquid crystal module 120 is adjusted according to the correction chromaticity.
In the embodiment of the invention, the adjustment of the pixel voltage according to the correction chromaticity is required according to the relationship between the correction chromaticity and the pixel voltage. The pixel voltage increases and decreases due to the increase and decrease of the correction chromaticity, and the pixel voltage and the correction chromaticity are correlated with each other. Here, the relationship between the correction chromaticity and the pixel voltage can be determined. Then, the pixel voltage is adjusted according to the correction chromaticity based on the relationship between the correction chromaticity and the pixel voltage.
Fig. 7 is a schematic structural diagram of another display module according to an embodiment of the invention.
As shown in fig. 7, the liquid crystal module 120 includes a red pixel 121, a green pixel 122, and a blue pixel 123; adjusting the pixel voltage of the liquid crystal module 120 according to the corrected chromaticity includes: the pixel voltage of the blue pixel 123 in the liquid crystal module 120 is adjusted to be lower according to the corrected chromaticity.
In the embodiment of the invention, the liquid crystal temperature of the liquid crystal module 120 is greatly increased, so that the blue light refractive index of the liquid crystal layer in the liquid crystal module 120 is greatly changed. The backlight temperature of the backlight module 110 is greatly increased, so that the blue light spectrum of the backlight module 110 is greatly changed. At this time, the light of the backlight module 110 is emitted through the liquid crystal module 120 with a severe blue bias, so that the image of the display module 100 is blue biased. In order to prevent the image of the display module 100 from turning blue, the pixel voltage of the blue pixel 123 is adjusted to be lower according to the corrected chromaticity. The pixel voltage of the blue pixel 123 determines the blue-biased degree of the light of the backlight module 110 passing through the liquid crystal module 120, thereby determining whether the image of the display module 100 is blue-biased. The pixel voltage of the blue pixel 123 is adjusted to be low, so that the image of the display module 100 is no longer blue or slightly blue. Therefore, when the backlight temperature or the liquid crystal temperature is greatly increased, the image of the display module 100 has no color cast or has slight color cast, and the display effect of the display module 100 is excellent.
As shown in fig. 7, the liquid crystal module 120 includes a red pixel 121, a green pixel 122, and a blue pixel 123;
adjusting the pixel voltage of the liquid crystal module 120 according to the corrected chromaticity includes: the pixel voltages of the red pixel 121 and the green pixel 122 in the liquid crystal module 120 are increased according to the corrected chromaticity.
In order to prevent the image of the display module 100 from turning blue, the pixel voltages of the red pixel 121 and the green pixel 122 are increased according to the corrected chromaticity. The pixel voltages of the red pixel 121 and the green pixel 122 determine the color balance of the light emitted from the backlight module 110 through the liquid crystal module 120, so as to determine whether the image of the display module 100 is blue. The pixel voltages of the red pixel 121 and the green pixel 122 are adjusted up in this way, so that the red, green and blue colors in the image of the display module 100 are balanced, and the image of the display module 100 is no longer blue or slightly blue. Therefore, when the backlight temperature or the liquid crystal temperature is greatly increased, the image of the display module 100 has no color cast or has slight color cast, and the display effect of the display module 100 is excellent.
Fig. 8 is a flowchart illustrating another display control method according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 8, the display control method 200 further includes:
after repeatedly judging the display color shift between the display chromaticity and the design chromaticity,
step S281, determining a design time difference;
step S282 of determining a first determination time at which to determine a display color shift between the display chromaticity and the design chromaticity;
step S283, determining a second judgment time at which the display color cast between the display chromaticity and the design chromaticity is repeatedly judged;
step S284, determining a determination time difference between the first determination time and the second determination time;
in step S285, when the time difference is determined to be smaller than the design time difference, the pixel voltage of the liquid crystal module 120 is repeatedly adjusted or maintained according to the corrected chromaticity.
In the embodiment of the invention, the display color cast is changed due to the change of the backlight temperature and the liquid crystal temperature. Both the backlight temperature and the liquid crystal temperature change with the passage of time. The display color shift also changes over time. Here, the display color shift is determined not only for the first time at the first determination time, but also repeatedly at the second determination time. The difference between the first judgment time and the second judgment time is a judgment time difference. And when the judgment time difference is smaller than the design time difference, the first judgment time is very close to the second judgment time. The backlight temperature at the first judgment time is the same as or close to the backlight temperature at the second judgment time. The liquid crystal temperature at the first judgment time is the same as or close to the liquid crystal temperature at the second judgment time. The backlight temperature and the liquid crystal temperature between the first judgment time and the second judgment time are not changed or slightly changed. The first judgment moment judges the display color cast, and then obtains the backlight temperature and the liquid crystal temperature and adjusts the pixel voltage. The second determination time repeatedly determines the display color shift, and thereafter the backlight temperature and the liquid crystal temperature are not repeatedly acquired and the pixel voltage may be directly adjusted or maintained. Therefore, the serious color cast is eliminated at a plurality of moments, the process of eliminating the serious color cast is simplified, and the efficiency of eliminating the serious color cast is improved.
Fig. 9 is a flowchart illustrating another display control method according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 9, the display control method 200 further includes:
after the judgment time difference between the first judgment time and the second judgment time is judged,
in step S286, when the time difference is determined to be greater than the design time difference, the backlight temperature of the backlight module 110 and the liquid crystal temperature of the liquid crystal module 120 are repeatedly obtained.
And when the judgment time difference is larger than the design time difference, the first judgment time is far away from the second judgment time. The backlight temperature at the first determination time is greatly different from the backlight temperature at the second determination time. The liquid crystal temperature at the first determination time is greatly different from the liquid crystal temperature at the second determination time. The backlight temperature and the liquid crystal temperature between the first judgment time and the second judgment time are greatly changed. The first judgment moment judges the display color cast, and then obtains the backlight temperature and the liquid crystal temperature and adjusts the pixel voltage. The second determination time repeatedly determines the display color shift, and thereafter repeatedly acquires the backlight temperature and the liquid crystal temperature and repeatedly adjusts the pixel voltage or maintains the pixel voltage. This eliminates severe color shift at multiple times, so that the display module 100 has excellent display effect.
Fig. 10 is a block diagram of a display control apparatus according to an embodiment of the invention.
As shown in fig. 10, the display control device 300 is used for controlling the display module 100 to display; the display module 100 includes a backlight module 110 and a liquid crystal module 120; the display control device 300 comprises a chrominance module 310, a judging module 320, a temperature module 330, a calculating module 340 and an adjusting module 350; the chromaticity module 310 determines the design chromaticity and the design color shift of the display module 100, and obtains the display chromaticity of the display module 100; the determining module 320 determines a display color shift between the display chromaticity and the design chromaticity; the temperature module 330 obtains the backlight temperature of the backlight module 110 and the liquid crystal temperature of the liquid crystal module 120 when the display color shift is larger than the design color shift; the calculating module 340 calculates a first color shift corresponding to the backlight temperature and a second color shift corresponding to the liquid crystal temperature, and calculates a corrected chromaticity of the display module 100 according to the first color shift and the second color shift; the adjusting module 350 adjusts the pixel voltage of the liquid crystal module 120 according to the corrected chromaticity.
In the embodiment of the invention, the display chromaticity is the shade of the color in the image of the display module 100.
As shown in fig. 10, after the adjusting module 350 adjusts the pixel voltage of the liquid crystal module 120 according to the corrected chromaticity, the determining module 320 repeatedly determines the display color shift between the display chromaticity and the design chromaticity.
As shown in fig. 10, after the determining module 320 determines the display color shift between the display chromaticity and the design chromaticity, the adjusting module 350 maintains the pixel voltage when the display color shift is smaller than the design color shift.
Fig. 11 is a block diagram of another display control apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention.
As shown in fig. 11, the display control apparatus 300 further includes a time module 360; after the determination module 320 repeatedly determines the display color shift between the display chromaticity and the design chromaticity, the time module 360 determines the design time difference, the time module 360 determines a first determination time for determining the display color shift between the display chromaticity and the design chromaticity, the time module 360 determines a second determination time for repeatedly determining the display color shift between the display chromaticity and the design chromaticity, the time module 360 determines the determination time difference between the first determination time and the second determination time, and when the determination time difference is smaller than the design time difference, the calculation module 340 repeatedly adjusts the pixel voltage of the liquid crystal module 120 or maintains the pixel voltage according to the correction chromaticity; after the time module 360 determines the determination time difference between the first determination time and the second determination time, when the determination time difference is greater than the design time difference, the calculating module 340 repeatedly obtains the backlight temperature of the backlight module 110 and the liquid crystal temperature of the liquid crystal module 120.
As shown in fig. 1, the display module 100 includes a display control device 300.
In the embodiment of the invention, the display module 100 utilizes the display control device 300 to eliminate the serious color cast, so that the display effect of the display module 100 is excellent.
