Abstract
The invention relates to the technical field of display, and provides a pixel compensation method for a display panel, wherein the display panel comprises a plurality of sub-display areas, and the method comprises the following steps: acquiring display picture data, and acquiring gray scale data of each color sub-pixel in each sub-display area according to the display picture data; acquiring the average current of the sub-display area according to the gray data of the sub-pixels of each color in the sub-display area; acquiring gray compensation data of the sub-display area according to the average current of the sub-display area; and calculating the gray compensation data of each sub-pixel by using a bilinear difference method according to the gray compensation data of the sub-display area. The pixel compensation method can avoid the display unevenness of the display panel caused by the voltage drop of the power lines of the sub-pixel units.
Description
Technical Field
The present invention relates to the field of display technologies, and in particular, to a display panel pixel compensation method and compensation apparatus.
Background
The display panel comprises a plurality of sub-pixel units distributed in an array, and each sub-pixel unit comprises a pixel driving circuit used for emitting light. The pixel drive circuit is generally supplied with power from a power IC (power supply circuit).
In the related art, a power IC (power circuit) is generally disposed at one side of the display panel, and the power IC is connected to the pixel driving circuits in the same column through a power line for providing driving power to the pixel units in the column. However, the pixel unit on the side away from the power IC (power supply circuit) emits light darkly due to the voltage drop of the power supply line.

Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a display panel pixel compensation method and a compensation device. The pixel compensation method of the display panel can solve the problem of uneven display caused by voltage drop of a power line in the related art.

According to an aspect of the present invention, there is provided a pixel compensation method for a display panel including a plurality of sub-display regions, the method comprising:
acquiring display picture data, and acquiring gray scale data of each color sub-pixel in each sub-display area according to the display picture data;
acquiring the average current of the sub-display area according to the gray data of the sub-pixels of each color in the sub-display area;
acquiring gray compensation data of the sub-display area according to the average current of the sub-display area;
and calculating the gray compensation data of each sub-pixel by using a bilinear difference method according to the gray compensation data of the sub-display area.
In an exemplary embodiment of the present disclosure, obtaining an average current of the sub-display region according to the gray scale data of the sub-pixels of each color in the sub-display region includes:
acquiring the average gray scale of each color sub-pixel in each sub-display area according to the gray scale data of each color sub-pixel;
acquiring the standard brightness of each sub-display area of the display panel in a 255-gray scale display state;
acquiring the brightness of each color sub-pixel in each sub-display area by combining the standard brightness according to the average gray scale of each color sub-pixel in each sub-display area;

2. The method of claim 1, wherein obtaining the average current of the sub-display region according to the gray data of the sub-pixels of each color in the sub-display region comprises:
acquiring the average gray scale of each color sub-pixel in each sub-display area according to the gray scale data of each color sub-pixel;
acquiring the standard brightness of each sub-display area of the display panel in a 255-gray scale display state;
acquiring the brightness of each color sub-pixel in each sub-display area by combining the standard brightness according to the average gray scale of each color sub-pixel in each sub-display area;
acquiring the average current of the sub-pixel units with different colors in the display area according to the brightness of the sub-pixels with different colors in the sub-display area;
and obtaining the average current of the sub-display area according to the average current of the sub-pixels of each color in the sub-display area.
3. The method as claimed in claim 2, wherein the obtaining the luminance of each color sub-pixel in each sub-display area according to the average gray scale of each color sub-pixel in each sub-display area in combination with the standard luminance comprises:
where L denotes the luminance of each color sub-pixel, L255 denotes the standard luminance, g denotes the average gray-scale value of the sub-display region, and γ denotes the gamma value.
4. The display panel pixel compensation method of claim 2,
obtaining the average current of the sub-pixel units with different colors in the display area according to the brightness of the sub-pixels with different colors in the sub-display area, wherein the average current comprises the following steps:

wherein Lc represents the luminance compensation data of the sub-display area, lo represents the luminance of the sub-display area, and G represents the luminance compensation coefficient of the sub-display area;
acquiring gray compensation data of the sub-display area according to the brightness compensation data of the sub-display area, wherein the method comprises the following steps:
wherein Lc represents the luminance compensation data of the sub display region, L255 represents the standard luminance, gc represents the gray compensation data of the sub display region, and γ represents the gamma value.

a receiving unit for acquiring display picture data;
the first processing unit is used for acquiring the gray data of each color sub-pixel in each sub-display area according to the display picture data;
the second processing unit is used for acquiring the average current of the sub-display area according to the gray data of the sub-pixels of each color in the sub-display area;
the third processing unit is used for acquiring the gray compensation data of the sub-display area according to the average current of the sub-display area;
the fourth processing unit is used for calculating the gray compensation data of each sub-pixel by using a bilinear difference method according to the gray compensation data of the sub-display area;
acquiring gray compensation data of the sub-display area according to the average current of the sub-display area, comprising the following steps:
acquiring the accumulated current of the sub-display area according to the average current of the sub-display area;
acquiring the accumulated voltage drop of the sub-display area according to the accumulated current of the sub-display area;
acquiring a brightness compensation coefficient of the sub-display area according to the accumulated voltage drop of the sub-display area;
acquiring brightness compensation data of the sub-display area according to the brightness compensation coefficient of the sub-display area;
and acquiring gray compensation data of the sub-display area according to the brightness compensation data of the sub-display area.
