背景技术
图1描绘了在电缆束16的每个端部上均具有盒12的电缆组件10。每个盒12容纳多个单独的电信连接器14(例如,每个盒中六个电信连接器)。多个电信连接器14通过电缆束16(例如,六根电缆,每根电缆具有八根电线)连接。将这种类型的电缆组件10穿过壁、导管和/或狭窄空间的安装区域牵拉到电信间(telecommunications closet)是具有挑战性的并且受到盒12的尺寸限制。

图2是示例性实施例中的组合式盒100的顶视图。组合式盒100包括第一部分102和第二部分104。第一部分102和第二部分104中的每个包括突片(tab)106,以将组合式盒100固定到接线板中的开口。第一部分102和第二部分104是可分离的。
图3是组合式盒100的透视图,示出了第一部分102与第二部分104分离。第一部分102的顶部和底部是平行的。第一部分102的侧壁垂直于顶部和底部。第二部分104以类似的方式构造。第一部分102和第二部分104各自分别包括连接结构103和105,以可拆卸地联接第一部分102和第二部分104。连接结构103和105形成在第一部分102和第二部分104的内侧壁上。在一个实施例中,连接结构103和105呈燕尾接头的形式。图4是图3的连接结构103和105的分解图。实施例可以使用其他连接结构,比如销/孔、块形(biscuit)连接、指形连接、榫眼/榫连接、榫舌/凹槽连接等。连接结构103和105构造成机械地共同协作以将第一部分102可移除地固定到第二部分104。

图5是组合式盒100的正视图。组合式盒100在其正面上包括开口120,以接收与每个端口112中的电信连接器110连接的配合电信连接器。当通过连接结构103和105联接时,第一部分102和第二部分104的开口120和端口112对齐在共同的单轴A上。
图6是在示例性实施例中重新布置的组合式盒100的透视图,以便于将包括组合式盒100的电缆组件牵拉穿过安装区域。如图6所示,第一部分102和第二部分104彼此堆叠,以使在电缆牵拉期间组合式盒100的总长度最小化。另一组连接结构可以形成在第一部分102和第二部分104的顶部和/或底部上,以将第一部分102和第二部分104保持在图6所示的堆叠位置。形成在第一部分102和第二部分104的顶部和/或底部上的连接结构可包括燕尾接头、销/孔、块形连接、指形连接、榫眼/榫连接、榫舌/凹槽连接等。
如图2所示,当第一部分102和第二部分104通过连接结构103和105并排连接时,组合式盒100的最大尺寸是L2。相反,在图6中,当第一部分102和第二部分104上下堆叠时,组合式盒100的最大尺寸是L1。L1小于L2,这便于将组合式盒100牵拉穿过安装区域。
图7是安装在平坦接线板中的组合式盒100的透视图。图8是安装在成角度接线板中的组合式盒100的透视图。组合式盒100通过简单的推入动作插入到接线板中并通过突片106固定。为了移除,挤压两个后突片106,同时向后牵拉组合式盒100。
组合式盒100可以是电缆组件的一部分,该电缆组件具有附接到电缆束的一个端部或两个端部的组合式盒100。当需要将电缆组件牵拉穿过安装区域时,第一部分102和第二部分104可以彼此分离并堆叠(如图6所示),以便于将组合式盒100牵拉穿过安装区域。
本文描述的实施例涉及一种6端口盒,其可以分成两个3端口盒。可以理解,盒可以具有多于或少于6个端口,并且可以分成多于两个部分。此外,每个部分中的端口的数量不必相等。

Claims (8)

所述第一部分包括第一连接部分;
所述第二部分包括第二连接部分;
其中,当所述第一连接部分和所述第二连接部分连接时,所述第一部分的所述第一端口和所述第二部分的所述第二端口对齐在共同的单轴上。
2.根据权利要求1所述的组合式盒,其中,所述第一连接部分和所述第二连接部分将所述第一部分能拆卸地固定到所述第二部分。
3.根据权利要求1所述的组合式盒,其中,第一端口的数量是三个,并且第二端口的数量是三个。
4.根据权利要求1所述的组合式盒,其中,第一端口的数量与第二端口的数量不相等。
5.根据权利要求1所述的组合式盒,还包括在所述第一部分上的第一突片和在所述第二部分上的第二突片,所述第一突片和所述第二突片构造成将所述组合式盒固定到板。
6.根据权利要求1所述的组合式盒,其中:
所述第一连接部分定位于所述第一部分的第一侧上;
所述第二连接部分定位于所述第二部分的第二侧上;
所述第一部分包括底部连接部分;
所述第二部分包括顶部连接部分;
其中,当所述底部连接部分和所述顶部连接部分连接时,所述第一部分的所述第一端口和所述第二部分的第二端口上下堆叠。
7.根据权利要求1所述的组合式盒,还包括定位于所述第一端口或所述第二端口中的至少一者中的电信连接器。
8.根据权利要求1所述的组合式盒,还包括定位于所述第一端口和所述第二端口中的每一者中的电信连接器。
