Description

Connection establishing method and equipment
Technical Field
The present application relates to the field of communications technologies, and in particular, to a connection establishment method and device.
Background
The introduction of carrier aggregation enables one terminal device to simultaneously receive and transmit data on a plurality of carriers, and the theoretical peak downloading speed of the terminal device is greatly improved due to the development of a multi-antenna technology. A typical carrier aggregation scheme is to connect a macro cell and one or more small cells together via an Ideal Backhaul (Ideal Backhaul). The frequency spectrum configured on the small cell is fast in signal attenuation along with the increase of the distance, so that the coverage area of a single cell is very limited, and if carrier aggregation is to be provided in a large range, a large number of small base stations are required to be configured; with the development of high frequency technology, such networks are gradually developed into high density multilayer networks. The high-density multi-layer network has a very high requirement for the backward Backhaul between the base stations, and the numerous backward backhauls also consume a large amount of labor and material costs, so that a Dual Connectivity (DC) technology established on the basis of the Non-ideal backward Backhaul has been promoted.
The DC technique is carrier aggregation under a non-ideal backhaul, and particularly means that one terminal device can be connected to two base stations for data communication through the non-ideal backhaul at the same time. Typical architectures for DC technology include: a Mobility Management Entity (MME), a Master base station (MN), a Secondary base Station (SN), and a terminal device. The MN and the SN are connected through an X2 interface, the MN and the MME are connected through an S1 interface, and the SN and the MME are not connected or only establish user plane connection. That is, in the network architecture of the DC technology, there is no control plane interface between the SN and the MME, so in the process of constructing the DC network, the connection between the MN and the SN cannot be established by the existing method, and the MN and the SN cannot implement the DC without establishing the X2 connection.

In the embodiments of the present application, the meaning of "a plurality" means two or more unless otherwise specified.
The DC technique is carrier aggregation under a non-ideal backhaul, and particularly means that one terminal device can be connected to two base stations for data communication through the non-ideal backhaul at the same time. Typical architectures for DC technology include: MME, a main base station (MN), a secondary base Station (SN) and a terminal device.
In order to solve the above problem, the embodiment of the present application provides the following two technical solutions:
in the scheme 1, after acquiring the identifier of the second access network device, the first access network device first sends a first connection request message to the second access network device according to the identifier of the second access network device, and then receives a first connection response message sent by the second access network device, so as to establish connection with the second access network device.
In scheme 2, after acquiring the identifier of the second access network device, the first access network device first sends a first connection request message to the core network device, and then receives a first connection response message sent by the core network device, so that the core network device establishes a control plane connection with the second access network device, and then sends a second connection request message to the second access network device through the core network device, and receives a second connection response message sent by the second access network device through the core network device, so as to establish a connection with the second access network device, because the first access network device first establishes a control plane connection between the core network device and the second access network device before establishing a connection with the second access network device, the connection establishment method provided in the above embodiment can establish a connection between the first access network device and the second access network device through the core network device, the problem that the connection between the MN and the SN cannot be established through the existing method in the DC network is solved.
The technical scheme provided by the application can be applied to various communication systems, such as a 5G communication system, a future evolution system or a plurality of communication convergence systems and the like. A variety of application scenarios may be included, for example, scenarios such as Machine to Machine (M2M), D2M, macro and micro Communication, enhanced Mobile Broadband (eMBB), ultra high reliability and ultra Low Latency Communication (urrllc), and mass internet of things Communication (mtc). These scenarios include, but are not limited to: communication between the UE and the UE, communication between the network side device and the network side device, or communication between the network side device and the UE. The embodiment of the application can be applied to communication between network side equipment and UE, or communication between UE and UE, or communication between network side equipment and network side equipment in a 5G communication system.
Fig. 1 shows a schematic diagram of a possible structure of a communication system according to an embodiment of the present application. As shown in fig. 1, the communication system may include: a core network device 11, a first access network device 12, a second access network device 13, and a terminal device 14. The first access network device 12 and the second access network device 13 configure carrier aggregation respectively, the first access network device 12 is connected to the second access network device 13 through an X2 interface, and the first access network device 12 is connected to the core network device 11 through an S1 interface. In addition, in order to reduce the connection complexity of the core network device 11 and reduce the number of S1 connections of the core network device 11, in the communication system applied in the embodiment of the present application, the core network device 11 includes only one S1 connection, and the opposite end of the S1 connection is the first access network device 12, so that the core network device 11 cannot directly send the control signaling to the second access network device, and the interaction process of the logical signaling layer can be implemented through the forwarding of the first access network device 12. Similarly, in order to avoid the influence on the terminal device 14, a Radio Resource Control (RRC) link is not established between the second access network device 13 and the terminal device 14, and the signaling interaction between the second access network device 13 and the terminal device 14 can be realized only by forwarding the first access network device 12.
The first access network device 12 and/or the second access network device 13 may be a base station, a Transmission and Reception node (TRP), a relay station, an access Point, or the like. The first Access network device 12 and/or the second Access network device 13 may be a Base Transceiver Station (BTS) in a Global System for Mobile communication (GSM) or Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) network, may also be an nb (nodeb) in a Wideband Code Division Multiple Access (WCDMA), and may also be an eNB or enodeb (evolved nodeb) in LTE. The first Access Network device 12 and/or the second Access Network device 13 may also be a wireless controller in a Cloud Radio Access Network (CRAN) scenario. The network side device 100 may also be a network side device in a 5G communication system or a network side device in a future evolution network. The terminology, however, is not intended to be limiting of the application.
The core network devices 11 may include control plane devices and user plane devices. The control plane device may include a Mobility Management Entity (MME), and the user plane device may include a Serving Gateway (S-GW), a Packet Data Network Gateway (PDN-GW), and the like. The MME may be used for mobility management, session management, network element selection, and user bearer information storage. The S-GW has functions of session management, routing and data forwarding, quality of service control, charging, and storing information, etc. The PDN-GW may be used for Internet Protocol (IP) address allocation, session management, routing, data forwarding, quality of service control, charging, policy and charging enforcement, and the like.
The terminal device 14 may be a wireless UE, which may be a device that provides voice and/or other traffic data connectivity to a user, a handheld device, computing device, or other processing device connected to a wireless modem, a vehicle mounted device, a wearable device, a UE in a future 5G network or a UE in a future evolved PLMN network, etc., or may be a wired UE. A Wireless UE may communicate with one or more core networks via a Radio Access Network (RAN), and may be a Mobile terminal, such as a Mobile phone (or "cellular" phone) and a computer with a Mobile terminal, for example, a portable, pocket, hand-held, computer-included, or vehicle-mounted Mobile device, which exchanges languages and/or data with the RAN, and Personal Communication Service (PCS) phones, cordless phones, Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) phones, Wireless Local Loop (WLL) stations, Personal Digital Assistants (PDAs), and the like, and the Wireless terminal may also be a Mobile device, a UE terminal, an Access terminal, a Wireless Communication device, a terminal unit, a Station, a Mobile Station (Mobile Station), or a vehicle-mounted Mobile device, A Remote Station (Remote Station), a Remote Station, a Remote Terminal (Remote Terminal), a Subscriber Unit (Subscriber Unit), a Subscriber Station (Subscriber Station), a User Agent (User Agent), a Terminal device, and the like.
