Description

Fountain pen
Technical Field
The present invention relates to a fountain pen ( ペン), and more particularly, to a fountain pen of an ink cartridge type capable of maintaining a dry state of a nib when not in use.
Background
If ink such as ink remains in the nib after use, the nib may be hardened or broken and damaged, which may hinder the next use, and therefore, it is necessary to wash the nib with water after use, and it is necessary to remove water and dry the nib after washing with water. If the ink is not sufficiently dried and moisture remains, there is a risk that the next use is hindered and mold may be generated in the tip of the pen.
To solve such a problem, japanese patent application laid-open No. 2013-52634 (patent document 1) proposes a writing brush having a moisture-retaining cap for hermetically protecting the tip of the brush, and japanese patent application laid-open No. hei 7-23591 (patent document 2) proposes a cap having a through hole for drying the tip of the brush. However, the writing brush proposed in patent document 1 cannot sufficiently dry the tip, and the cap proposed in patent document 2 may not be compatible with the writing brush, and further, it is difficult to separately purchase the writing brush. There is a risk of expense.
Further, in the case of an ink cartridge type fountain pen, since the ink supply to the nib cannot be stopped after use, the nib remains in a state of containing ink and cannot be washed with water after use, and further, in the case of a conventional fountain pen, the nib cannot be replaced, and therefore, the nib must be discarded when damaged.

Detailed Description
The mode for carrying out the invention is explained on the basis of the attached drawings. Fig. 1 is a front view of a fountain pen according to the present invention with a cap removed, and fig. 2 is an exploded perspective view thereof, wherein the fountain pen according to the present invention is configured as follows: a tip holder 2 for holding the tip 1; an ink cartridge 3; a shaft body 4 which is located between the pen point fixing device 2 and the ink cartridge 3 and detachably connected to the pen point fixing device 2 and the ink cartridge 3, respectively; and a cap 5 for housing and protecting the pen nib 1.
The nib 1 is integrated with a nib base 6 fitted in the nib fixing device 2, and is fixed to the nib fixing device 2 via the nib base 6 (see fig. 3 in particular). The holder 7 is provided on the bottom surface of the nib base 6 at an appropriate interval, and an ink supply space 8 is formed between the bottom surface of the nib base 6 and a plug 25 (see fig. 3 and 5) described later. The lower portion of the leg base 7 slightly protrudes outward, and an ink groove 9 extending in the axial direction is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the nib base 6, and a rib 10a functioning as a spacer is formed on the inner peripheral wall of the nib fixing device 2, whereby an ink supply path 10 is secured between the outer peripheral surface of the nib base 6 and the inner peripheral surface of the nib fixing device 2 (see fig. 5 and 7).
The tip fixing device 2 is detachable from the shaft body 4, and can be fixed to the cap 5 by being detached from the shaft body 4 together with the tip 1 when not in use, and inserting and pressing the tip 1 into the cap 5. A brim portion 14a (see fig. 7) that functions as a stopper at this time is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the nib fixing device 2. The cap 5 to which the tip holder 2 is fixed in this manner can be attached to the shaft body 4 in a state in which the tip 1 faces the shaft body 4, as will be described later (see fig. 4).
The lid 5 is a cylindrical body having an opening at one end and a closing plate 11 disposed at a slightly deep position at the other end, and has a louver 12 formed on the peripheral side surface of the middle portion thereof. The ventilation window 12 allows ventilation of the cap 5 when not in use, thereby promoting sufficient drying of the pen nib 1. A sealing protrusion 13 (see fig. 6) for preventing ink leakage when not in use protrudes from the center of the closing plate 11. The sealing projection 13 is tightly fitted into an ink flow hole 29 of a plug 25 (described later) to prevent the flow of ink (see fig. 4).
The tip 1 is inserted and fixed into the cap 5 from the opening side thereof, and at this time, the outer peripheral surface of one end of the tip fixing device 2 holding the tip 1 is closely slidably connected to the inner peripheral surface of the cap 5. For the subsequent detachment prevention of the pen nib fixing device 2, it is preferable that an engaging protrusion 14 (see fig. 7) is formed on the outer circumferential surface of the pen nib fixing devices 2 slidably connected to each other, and a convex portion 15 (see fig. 6) corresponding to the engaging protrusion 14 is provided on the inner circumferential surface of the cap 5. Further, an internal thread 16 is cut in an inner peripheral surface of the cover 5 on the outer side of the sealing plate 11 arrangement portion. The cap 5 is screwed to the shaft body by the female screw 16 being screwed to a male screw 17 formed on the outer peripheral surface of the end portion of the shaft body 4 (see fig. 4, 6, and 10). Further, a female screw 20 similar to the female screw 16 formed in the cap 5 is also formed on the inner peripheral surface of the tip holder 2, and is screwed with the male screw 17 of the shaft body 4 (see fig. 3 and 7).
A female screw 18 is cut into an inner peripheral surface of an end portion of the shaft body 4 opposite to the side where the male screw 17 is formed, and a male screw 19 formed on an outer peripheral surface of a distal end portion of the ink cartridge 3 is screwed therein (see fig. 2, 3, and 10). In this manner, the ink cartridge 3 is detachable and replaceable with respect to the shaft body 4. Further, it is preferable that the screwing-out direction of the combination of the external thread 17 of the shaft body 4 and the internal thread 20 of the nib fixing device 2 is opposite to the screwing-out direction of the combination of the internal thread 18 of the shaft body 4 and the external thread of the ink cartridge 3. In such a case, for example, when the ink cartridge 3 is replaced, the screw thread is prevented from loosening between the shaft body 4 and the tip holder 2 when the ink cartridge 3 is screwed into the shaft body 4.
The ink cartridge 3 is plugged by the push-pull plug 21, and the push-pull plug 21 is pushed and pulled along with the shaft body 4, thereby opening the plug. That is, a push-pull cylinder 22 (see fig. 10) for pushing the push-pull plug 21 when the ink cartridge 3 is connected is disposed inside the shaft body 4. The push-pull cylinder 22 is provided upright at the center of a cylindrical portion 23 formed on the inner circumferential surface of the shaft body 4, and circulates ink from the ink cartridge 3. The plug 25 (see fig. 3) is fitted into the front end opening of the shaft body 4.
The plug 25 is a flanged dish-shaped body as shown in fig. 9, and has a hollow cylinder 27 formed at the center via a circular base 26, a hollow protrusion 28 extending at the center of the hollow cylinder 27, and an ink flow hole 29 penetrating from the hollow protrusion 28 to the hollow cylinder 27. In addition, the ink tanks 30 longitudinally penetrating from the hollow cylinder 27 to the circular pedestal 26 are conventionally symmetrically formed in a pair. An adjustment cylinder 31 (see fig. 3 and 5) is fitted to the hollow cylinder 27. At this time, the inner top surface of the adjustment cylinder 31 is separated from the upper end surface of the hollow protrusion 28, whereby the ink storage space 32 is formed in the adjustment cylinder 31. Note that reference numeral 33 in fig. 2 and 3 denotes a seal ring.
In a preferred embodiment, the pen tip comprising the pen tip 1 and the pen tip holder 2 can be replaced as a separate component. In such a case, not only the pen tip can be replaced to enable long-term use, but also the user can select the pen tip 1 (wool, horse hair, raccoon hair, etc.) according to the preference by preparing different types of pen tips in advance, thereby improving the commodity value.
When the fountain pen having the above-described configuration is not used, as shown in fig. 4, the tip 1 is housed in the cap 5, the tip 1 is directed toward the shaft body 4, and the male screw 17 of the shaft body 4 is screwed to the female screw 16 of the cap 5 on the side of the closing plate 11, whereby the cap 5 is screwed to the shaft body 4. At this time, the sealing projection 13 of the cap 5 is tightly fitted into the ink flow hole 29 of the plug 25, thereby preventing ink leakage (see fig. 4). In this state, the pen nib 1 is separated from the ink supply path, exposed to the outside air through the ventilation window 12 of the cap 5, and dried, and thereafter, the dry state is maintained. Therefore, the risk of damaging or mildewing the pen point 1 caused by the continuous moisture state is avoided,
in use, the cap 5 is detached from the shaft body 4, the tip holder 2 is detached from the cap 5, and the male screw 17 of the shaft body 4 is screwed into the female screw 20 of the tip holder 2, whereby the tip holder 2 is attached to the shaft body 4 (the state of fig. 1 and 3). In this way, ink is supplied to the pen point 1 through an ink flow path described later, and writing is enabled. When writing is stopped or temporarily suspended, the tip holder 2 is held and attached to the shaft body 4, and the cap 5 is attached to the tip 1 in a covering manner. When the writing operation is suspended, the operation is reversed to return to the state shown in fig. 4.
Next, the ink flow path in the fountain pen according to the present invention having the above-described configuration will be described. When the cartridge 3, which is initially plugged by the push-pull plug 21, is gradually screwed into the shaft body 4, the top surface 21a of the push-pull plug 21 of the cartridge 3, which is plugged by the push-pull plug 21, is pushed and pulled by the push-pull cylinder 22 of the shaft body (see fig. 3). The periphery of the top surface 21a of the push-pull plug 21 is connected only with a small force, and therefore, a large force is not required for the push-pull. As the push-pull plug 21 is pushed and pulled, the ink in the ink cartridge 3 flows into the ink chamber 35 through the push-pull cylinder 22, and fills the ink chamber (see fig. 5).
The ink in the ink chamber 35 rises in the ink tank 30 of the plug 25, fills the ink storage space 32 of the adjustment cylinder 31, flows into the ink flow hole 29 from the hollow protrusion 28, and flows into the ink supply space 8 between the tip base 6 and the plug 25 (see fig. 3 and 5). Thereafter, the ink passes through the ink supply path 10 formed between the outer peripheral surface of the nib base 6 and the inner peripheral surface of the nib fixing device 2 to reach the nib 1, and the nib 1 is wetted (see fig. 3 and 5).
Industrial applicability of the invention
Since the fountain pen according to the present invention is configured as described above and is a replaceable ink cartridge type, the nib 1 can be repeatedly used by replacing the ink cartridge 3, and the nib 1 and the nib base 6 are replaceable as one body, so that the fountain pen can be used for a long period of time, which is cost-effective. Further, the user can select a desired type of pen tip from among a plurality of types of pen tips and use the pen tip, which is advantageous in that the commercial value is high.
Further, since the pen point 1 is separated from the ink supply path and the ink supply path is closed by the ink blocking device (the sealing protrusion 13) having a cover, there is no risk of ink leakage, and the pen point 1 integrated with the pen point fixing device 2 can be detached from the shaft body 4 and washed with water after use, and thereafter can be protected by the cover 5 having air permeability and dried, so that there is an effect that sufficient maintenance is possible, and the industrial applicability thereof is high.
