Abstract
本发明公开了一种椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒的应用,具体为椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒作为纳米天线、光学开关或者折射率传感器的应用。利用纳秒激光液相熔蚀GaAs固体靶材制备出了不同尺寸的椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒,并将其用于纳米天线,其可以在散射强度峰值处实现前后向强度比值为6的方向性光散射。本发明首次提出单个椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒可以产生Fano共振,基于Fano共振,其可以实现高效的方向性光散射。本发明制备工艺简单,重复性好,稳定性高,成本低。椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒作为一种新型全介质纳米材料,可应用于纳米天线、光学开关和折射率传感器等领域。
Description
技术领域
本发明涉及全介质纳米材料的合成和应用领域,尤其是指一种椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒的应用。
背景技术
Fano共振是一种可以产生非对称线型的散射共振现象,其源于离散态与连续态之间的相互干涉。迄今为止,Fano共振已经在光子晶体、等离激元结构和超表面等纳米结构中得以实现。其中,等离激元结构的的Fano共振通常是由于电偶极和电四极或更高阶电共振模式之间的远场干涉形成。近几年,全介质纳米结构的兴起为Fano共振的产生提供了一个新平台,其能够同时激发电和磁的Mie共振模式,利用电磁共振模式之间的相互干涉实现Fano共振。然而,由于单个高折射率全介质纳米球激发的电偶极与磁偶极共振模式在光谱上相互分离,因此限制了这两种模式之间的干涉,导致其无法产生Fano共振。
业内习知,砷化镓(GaAs)纳米颗粒是一种高折射率全介质材料,其单个球型纳米颗粒无法产生Fano共振。
发明内容
本发明的目的在于克服现有技术的缺点和不足,提出了一种椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒的应用,能够简易快速地制备该椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒,表现出高效的方向性光散射性能。
为实现上述目的,本发明所提供的技术方案为:椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒的应用,具体是椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒作为纳米天线、光学开关或者折射率传感器的应用;一方面,由于几何形状的变化,椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒的Mie共振模式在光谱上出现不同程度的移动,当椭球颗粒的长径比达到某一数值时,其激发的磁偶极和电偶极共振模式会在光谱上出现重叠,有利于这两种模式之间的干涉,从而在背向散射光谱中产生Fano共振,基于这种背向的Fano共振,椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒能够在总散射峰值处实现高效的方向性前向散射,其前后向散射强度比值在Fano共振波长处达到最大值,表明其能够作为高效的纳米天线或者方向性源;另一方面,由于几何形状的各向异性,椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒产生的Fano共振对激发光的偏振以及周围环境折射率非常敏感;因此,椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒也能够作为偏振依赖的光学开关或者折射率传感器加以应用。
上述椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒的制备和测试验证,包括以下步骤:
1)将固体靶材置于反应容器中,然后往反应容器中注入二次去离子水,并使二次去离子水浸过靶材表面;
2)调节激光器的脉冲激光光束的光路,使激光光束依次经过全反射镜和聚焦透镜后聚焦在靶材表面;
3)开启脉冲激光器,在激光的作用下同时进行液体环境中脉冲激光熔蚀反应,固体靶材在激光高温高压的作用下形成纳米晶核,在液体环境中长大成纳米颗粒;
4)反应结束后,关闭激光器,收集颗粒悬浮液,在加热板上进行干燥,得到目标产物,即椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒,不含其它杂质元素;
5)在暗场光学显微系统下找到定位的椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒;
6)利用暗场光学显微系统测量不同尺寸椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒的前向散射光谱;
7)利用暗场光学显微系统测量不同尺寸椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒的背向散射光谱;
8)改变激发光的偏振方向,测量椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒的背向散射光谱;
9)比较前后向散射光谱的差异,发现在整个测试波段,椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒前向散射强度都大于其背向散射,且前后向散射强度的比值在总散射峰值处达到最大值,证明其能够作为高效的纳米天线。
在步骤1)中,所述靶材为GaAs靶,直径为1.2cm,厚度为0.5cm,纯度大于99.99%,所述反应容器为玻璃或塑料容器。
在步骤2)中,所述激光聚焦至靶材表面的光斑直径为0.1cm。
在步骤3)中,所述激光器的脉冲激光波长为532nm,重复频率为10Hz,脉冲宽度为10ns,单脉冲能量为400mJ。
在步骤4)中,反应过程持续5~10分钟,颗粒悬浮液呈褐色,干燥温度为30℃,时间为5h;制备得到的纳米颗粒形状为椭球型,其中椭球长轴范围分布在100~300nm,短轴直径分布范围为30~180nm。
在步骤5)中,暗场光学显微系统采用卤钨灯作为光源,功率100W,显微镜所用物镜的成像倍数为100倍,其数值孔径为0.80,CCD的工作温度为-70℃,散射光谱的测试是在25℃黑暗环境下进行,所用散射光谱测试的衬底为ITO导电玻璃。
在步骤6)中,前向散射光谱测量使用了油浸暗场聚光器,数值孔径为1.4,光源入射方向为从下到上。
在步骤8)中,激发光的偏振通过一个起偏器来控制,通过旋转样品来改变偏振激发,每次样品旋转的角度为15°。
本发明与现有技术相比,具有如下优点与有益效果:
1、本发明采用液相纳秒脉冲激光熔蚀法首次成功制备了具有不同尺寸的椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒。
2、本发明提出椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒可以作为一种高效的纳米天线,其在总散射强度峰值处的前后向散射强度比值达到6。
3、本发明制备工艺简单,重复性好,稳定性高。椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒作为一种新型的全介质纳米材料,可以应用于纳米天线,光学开关和折射率传感器等领域。

具体实施方式
下面结合多个具体实施例对本发明作进一步说明。
实施例1
如图1所示,本实施例在制备椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒时,具体是采用激光器1(优选YAG纳秒脉冲激光器)、全反镜2、聚焦透镜3、固体靶材4、反应容器5、二次去离子水6。其中,所述激光器1的脉冲激光波长532nm,频率为0~10Hz,脉冲宽度为10ns,单脉冲能量为0~700mJ;所述固体靶材4为GaAs固体靶材,直径为1.5cm,厚度为0.5cm,纯度大于99.99%;所述反应容器5为玻璃或塑料容器,而在本实施例具体为石英容器。
以下为本实施例制备椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒的具体过程,其情况如下:
1)将GaAs固体靶材置于石英容器中,然后往石英容器中注入二次去离子水,并使二次去离子水浸过靶材的表面。
2)调节激光器的脉冲激光光束的光路,使激光光束依次经过全反射镜和聚焦透镜后聚焦在靶材表面,聚焦时光斑在靶材表面直径大约为0.1cm。
3)开启脉冲激光,在本实施例中该激光能量具体为400mJ/pulse,激光频率为10Hz;而后在激光的作用下进行液体环境中脉冲激光熔蚀反应,固体靶材在激光高温高压的作用下形成纳米晶核并长大成GaAs纳米颗粒。
4)反应过程持续5~10分钟后(在本实施例中具体是5分钟),关闭脉冲激光器,收集颗粒悬浮液(褐色),在加热板上进行干燥5小时(30℃恒温),得到目标产物,即椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒。
此外,在本实施中还对上述所得的GaAs纳米颗粒进行了扫描电子显微镜、透射电子显微镜分析、选区电子衍射、能量色散X射线光谱分析、X射线衍射分析。其中,扫描电子显微镜、透射电子显微镜分析如图2a~2d所示,由图可见,制备的颗粒呈椭球型,椭球长轴范围分布在100~300nm,短轴直径分布范围为30~180nm;图2e为制备的颗粒的选区电子衍射图谱,证明制备得到的是多晶物质;图2f~2g为样品的高分辨透射电子显微镜分析,其中晶面间距0.25nm和0.15nm分别对应于GaAs立方晶相的(220)和(111)晶面。图2h为样品的能量色散X射线光谱,证明该样品为纯的GaAs,没有其他杂质,由此我们制备得到GaAs纳米颗粒。图2i为样品的X射线衍射结果,表明制备得到的GaAs纳米颗粒属于立方晶相。
实施例2
本实施例主要对实施例1制备得到的椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒进行暗场光散射测试,所用光源为卤钨灯,功率为100W,显微镜所用物镜的成像倍数为100倍,其数值孔径为0.80,CCD的工作温度为-70℃,散射光谱的测试是在25℃黑暗环境下进行,单个测试样品的光谱收集时间为5s。
以下为本实施例测试椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒的散射光谱的具体过程,其情况如下:
1)将椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒(衬底为ITO导电玻璃)置于光学显微镜载物台。
2)在暗场光学显微镜下找到定位的纳米颗粒。
3)对已经定位的椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒进行光激发,利用光谱仪收集样品散射信号。
图3为暗场散射光谱测试系统的示意图。尺寸分别为#1(L=200.3nm,D=99.1nm),#2(L=249.4nm,D=99.7nm),#3(L=301.1nm,D=100.6nm),#4(L=350.5nm,D=100.8nm),#5(L=399.2nm,D=101.3nm)的单个椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒的前向和背向散射光谱如图4所示。在短轴长度不变的情况下,改变长轴长度对椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒的前向散射光谱影响不大,而随着长轴的长度增大,其背向散射光谱中处于长波段的峰位开始出现并逐渐增大。背向散射光谱中处于两峰之间的凹陷是Fano凹陷,该凹陷波长正好对应于前向散射光谱中的极大值。在该Fano共振波长处,椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒的前后向散射比值达到最大值6,其远场散射模式如图5所示,表明其可以作为一种高效的纳米天线。球型GaAs纳米颗粒的磁偶极和电偶极共振模式在光谱上相互分离,由于形状的改变,椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒的这两种共振模式在光谱上会出现不同程度的移动。当椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒的长径比达到某一数值时,其磁偶极和电偶极共振模式在光谱上相互重叠,增强了这两种模式之间的耦合,从而产生背向Fano共振。
实施例3
图6a是椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒不同偏振激发下的示意图,激发光电场分量与椭球长轴的夹角为θ。如图6b所示,一个椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒#3(L=301.1nm,D=100.6nm)在不同偏振激发下的背向散射光谱。随着θ从0°增大到90°,椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒的散射光谱的强度逐渐减弱,其背向Fano共振越来越不明显。当θ增大到90°时,其散射光谱与球型颗粒无差别,也就是说,这种情况下,椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒退化为球型。
由于球型颗粒是各向同性的,其散射强度及光谱形状不受激发光偏振影响。而椭球型颗粒是各向异性的,因此其散射光谱在不同偏振激发下呈现不同的变化。这种Fano共振随激发光偏振变化的表现,表明椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒可以作为偏振依赖的光学开关。
以上所述之实施例子只为本发明之较佳实施例,并非以此限制本发明的实施范围,故凡依本发明之形状、原理所作的变化,均应涵盖在本发明的保护范围内。
Claims (9)
1.椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒的应用,其特征在于:为椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒作为纳米天线、光学开关或者折射率传感器的应用;一方面,由于几何形状的变化,椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒的Mie共振模式在光谱上出现不同程度的移动,当椭球颗粒的长径比达到某一数值时,其激发的磁偶极和电偶极共振模式会在光谱上出现重叠,有利于这两种模式之间的干涉,从而在背向散射光谱中产生Fano共振,基于这种背向的Fano共振,椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒能够在总散射峰值处实现高效的方向性前向散射,其前后向散射强度比值在Fano共振波长处达到最大值,表明其能够作为高效的纳米天线或者方向性源;另一方面,由于几何形状的各向异性,椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒产生的Fano共振对激发光的偏振以及周围环境折射率非常敏感;因此,椭球型GaAs纳米颗粒也能够作为偏振依赖的光学开关或者折射率传感器加以应用。
