Abstract
The invention discloses a method for directional paging of a mobile terminal, wherein the mobile terminal is provided with at least one 3G/2G card and at least one 4G card, the method comprises the steps that the mobile terminal acquires an identification message, an MSC (mobile switching center) establishes a first association according to the identification message, when the 3G/2G card is connected with a network, a cell identification of the 4G card is acquired and sent to the MSC, the MSC establishes a second association, when the 4G card is paged by an incoming call, the MSC sends the cell identification of the 4G card to an MME (mobility management entity) to which the 4G card belongs according to the second association, and the MME sends a paging request to the 4G card according to the specific cell identification of the 4G card. Correspondingly, a system for directional paging of the mobile terminal is also disclosed. The method and the system can realize directional paging, thereby solving the problem that resources are wasted due to large paging range when the MME pages all cells of the TAI of the 4G card in an idle state.

Technical Field

Background
Currently, dual card dual standby mobile terminals are a relatively popular configuration. With the increasing demands of users in work and life, multi-card multi-standby mobile terminals are available. In the system for directional paging of a mobile terminal provided in embodiments 3 and 4, a 3G/2G card acquires an identifier message from a communication module/detection module of the mobile terminal and sends the identifier message to an MSC, the MSC creates a first association through an association module according to the identifier message, when the 3G/2G card connects to a network, the 3G/2G card acquires a cell identifier of the 4G card and sends the cell identifier to the MSC, the MSC creates a second association through the association module, and the second association is an association between an IMSI of the 4G card and the cell identifier of the 4G card. When there is an incoming call paging 4G card, after receiving the paging request, the MSC sends the cell identifier of the 4G card to the MME to which the 4G card belongs according to the second association, so that the MME to which the 4G card belongs sends the paging request to the corresponding cell through the eNodeB, thereby performing directional paging. The problem that resources are wasted due to a large paging range when the MME pages all cells of the TAI of the idle 4G card in the prior art is solved.
It will be understood that the above embodiments are merely exemplary embodiments taken to illustrate the principles of the present invention, which is not limited thereto. It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and improvements can be made without departing from the spirit and substance of the invention, and these modifications and improvements are also considered to be within the scope of the invention.
Claims (9)
1. A method for directional paging of a mobile terminal, wherein the mobile terminal has at least one 3G/2G card and at least one 4G card, and the 3G/2G card and the 4G card belong to the same operator, the method comprising:
the mobile terminal acquires an identification message and sends the identification message to the MSC, wherein the identification message comprises: the number of all cards in the mobile terminal and the IMSI of all cards;
the MSC creates a first association, wherein the first association is the association of IMSIs of all cards in the mobile terminal;
when the 3G/2G card is connected with a network, acquiring a cell identifier of a 4G card and sending the cell identifier to the MSC;
the MSC creates a second association, wherein the second association is the association between the IMSI of the 4G card and the cell identifier of the 4G card;
when a 4G card is paged by an incoming call, the MSC receives a paging request and sends the cell identifier of the 4G card to an MME to which the 4G card belongs according to the second association;
the MME sends a paging request to the 4G card according to the cell identification of the 4G card,
when the 3G/2G card connects to the network, acquiring the cell identifier of the 4G card specifically includes: when the 3G/2G card is connected with the network, the cell identification of the 4G card is obtained by sending a query request to the 4G card.
2. The method according to claim 1, wherein the mobile terminal acquiring the identification message specifically comprises:
establishing communication among all cards of the mobile terminal, and acquiring the identification message through the communication among all the cards; or,
detecting the number of all cards in the mobile terminal and the IMSIs of all cards to acquire the identification message;
and the mobile terminal sends the identification message to the MSC through the 3G/2G card.
3. The method of directional paging of a mobile terminal as claimed in claim 2, wherein the trigger condition for the 3G/2G card to send the identification message to the MSC is:
when the 3G/2G card is attached to the network.
4. The method of claim 2, wherein the MSC creating the first association specifically comprises:
and the MSC associates the IMSIs of all the cards in the mobile terminal according to the identification message to form a first association.
5. The method for directional paging of a mobile terminal according to any of claims 1-4, wherein when the 4G card performs cell reselection, the method further comprises:
sending the cell identifier of the 4G card after cell reselection to the 3G/2G card through the 4G card;
sending the cell identifier of the reselected 4G card to the MSC through the 3G/2G card;
the MSC associates the IMSI of the 4G card with the reselected cell identifier of the 4G card so as to establish a new second association and replace the original second association;
when the 3G/2G card releases the connection, the method further comprises the following steps:
and informing the MSC to delete the second association through the 3G/2G card.
6. A system for directional paging of a mobile terminal is characterized by comprising the mobile terminal, wherein the mobile terminal is provided with at least one 3G/2G card and at least one 4G card, the 3G/2G card and the 4G card belong to the same operator, and the system further comprises: the MSC and the MME to which the 4G card belongs,
the mobile terminal is configured to acquire an identifier message and send the identifier message to the MSC, where the identifier message includes: the number of all cards in the mobile terminal and the IMSI of all cards;
the MSC is used for creating a first association, wherein the first association is the association of IMSIs of all cards in the mobile terminal;
the mobile terminal is also used for acquiring the cell identification of the 4G card when the 3G/2G card is connected with the network, and sending the cell identification of the 4G card to the MSC;
the MSC is also used for creating a second association, wherein the second association is the association between the IMSI of the 4G card and the cell identifier of the 4G card;
when there is an incoming call to page the 4G card, the MSC is further configured to receive a paging request, and send a cell identifier of the 4G card to the MME;
the MME is used for sending a paging request to the 4G card according to the cell identification of the 4G card,
the mobile terminal is further configured to obtain the cell identifier of the 4G card when the 3G/2G card connects the network, specifically:
and the mobile terminal is also used for indicating the 3G/2G card to send a query request to the 4G card according to the information that the 3G/2G card is connected with the network so as to acquire the cell identifier of the 4G card.
7. The system for directional paging of a mobile terminal of claim 6, wherein the mobile terminal comprises:
the communication module is used for establishing communication among all cards of the mobile terminal, so that the 3G/2G cards acquire the identification message through the communication among all cards of the mobile terminal; or,
the mobile terminal includes:
and the detection module is used for detecting the number of all cards in the mobile terminal and the IMSIs of all the cards so as to acquire the identification message.
8. The system for directional paging of a mobile terminal of claim 7, wherein the MSC comprises a creation module,
the creating module is used for associating the IMSIs of all the cards in the mobile terminal according to the identification message to form a first association;
the communication module/detection module of the mobile terminal is also used for instructing the 3G/2G card to send an identification message to the creation module according to the message that the 3G/2G card is attached to the network.
9. The system for directional paging of a mobile terminal of claim 8,
the communication module/detection module of the mobile terminal is further configured to instruct the 4G card to send the cell identifier of the 4G card after cell reselection to the 3G/2G card according to a cell reselection message of the 4G card; and the cell identifier is used for indicating the 3G/2G card to send the reselected 4G card to the MSC;
the creating module of the MSC is also used for associating the IMSI of the 4G card with the reselected cell identifier of the 4G card so as to establish a new second association and replace the original second association; when the 3G/2G card releases the connection, the system further comprises:
and the communication module/detection module of the mobile terminal is also used for indicating the 3G/2G card to inform the MSC to delete the second association according to the message that the 3G/2G card releases the connection.
