Fig. 1 shows a perspective view of a fall arrest device 1 according to the present invention, and fig. 2 shows an exploded view of the fall arrest device 1 according to the present invention. The anti-falling device 1 comprises a push rod 2, a fixed bracket 3, an eccentric plate 4 and a locking pin 5. The fixed bracket 3 is fixedly installed on the bottom plate 11 (shown in fig. 4) of the drawer, the eccentric plate 4 is rotatably connected to the fixed bracket 3 by a first rotating pin 61, the second end 22 of the push rod 2 is connected to the eccentric plate 4 by a second rotating pin 62, and the locking pin 5 is connected to the eccentric plate 4 by a third rotating pin 63. An eccentric plate refers to a component whose center of rotation does not coincide with the geometric center. For example, in the present embodiment, the eccentric plate rotates with the first rotating pin 61 as the rotation center, which does not coincide with the geometric center of the eccentric plate. In this embodiment, fixed bolster, eccentric plate, push rod, locking etc. all form through sheet metal working, consequently are convenient for produce and process to the cost is lower. Further, each pivot pin may be a bolt, a holed pin, a rivet, a spin-riveting pin, or the like, but is not limited thereto as long as relative movement of two members connected by the pivot pin can be ensured.
The fall arrest device further comprises a position locking member 7 located on a support plate of the drawer (for supporting the drawer during its extraction), the support plate being stationary during its extraction. During drawer extraction, the locking pin 5 and the position locking member 7 can engage with each other to lock the drawer, thereby preventing the drawer from falling off accidentally.
Figure 3 shows the unlocking assembly in cooperation with the fall arrest device 1. The unlocking assembly is an existing device on the drawer and comprises a handle 8, an unlocking button 9 and an unlocking button rod 10. An unlocking button rod 10 is movably installed on the bottom plate of the drawer, and an unlocking button 9 is installed near the handle, so that an operator can conveniently operate the unlocking button when holding the handle and withdrawing the drawer. In operation, an operator holds the handle and presses the unlocking button 9 to push the unlocking button rod 10 to move; after the unlocking button 9 is released, the unlocking button rod 10 is reset under the action of the spring.
Figure 4 shows the relative position of the fall arrest device, the unlocking assembly, when the fall arrest device according to the present invention is mounted in a drawer, as can be seen.
Hereinafter, a process of drawing out the drawer will be described in detail with reference to fig. 5 to 10.
As shown in fig. 5, when the drawer in the working position is to be pulled out, it is first necessary to unlock the locking of the drawer in the working position. The unlocking button 9 is pressed, the unlocking button rod 10 is pushed, the unlocking button rod 10 unlocks the locking of the drawer in the working position via another component (known in the art and not shown in the figures for unlocking the locking of the drawer in the working position), and then the unlocking button 9 can be released and the drawer can be pulled outwards by holding the handle.
When the drawer is unlocked from the working position, as shown in fig. 6, the unlocking button lever 10 pushes the first end 21 of the push rod 2, which causes the eccentric plate 4 to rotate clockwise about the first rotating pin 61, which causes the locking pin to move upward.
When the unlocking button lever is released after the drawer has been drawn out of the operating position, the unlocking button lever will come out of abutment with the push rod, causing the eccentric plate 4 to abut against the bottom plate of the drawer under the influence of gravity and thus assume a horizontal position, while the locking pin passes through the opening in the bottom plate to the engaged position, as shown in fig. 7.
The drawer is then pulled further outwards and, when the locking pin 5 is aligned with and engages the position locking means 7, the drawer is locked against further withdrawal. Preferably, the locking pin 5 cooperates with a stop on the position locking device 7 to achieve locking of the drawer and thus prevent the drawer from falling, as shown in fig. 8.
With continued reference to fig. 9, when the drawer needs to be completely withdrawn, pressing the unlocking button 9 again pushes the unlocking button rod 10 again, and the unlocking button rod 10 pushes the first end 21 of the push rod 2 again, which again rotates the eccentric plate 4 clockwise about the first rotating pin 61, which drives the locking pin upward, so that the locking pin is disengaged from the position locking device 7, and at this time, the drawer can be pulled outward continuously, so that the drawer is completely withdrawn.
In addition, in actual operation, there is a case where the operator forgets to release the unlock button 9 after unlocking the drawer from the working position, and in such a case, the lock pin cannot be in the engaged position. To prevent this, for example, in the step shown in fig. 10, a projection 23 is provided on the surface of the push rod 2 facing the bottom plate of the drawer, so that, during extraction of the drawer, before the locking pin engages with the position locking member, the projection comes into contact with a corresponding projection and is pushed up upwardly, thereby tilting the first end of the push rod upwardly, forcing the unlocking button lever out of abutment with the push rod, and lowering the locking pin to the engaged position so as to engage with the stopper to lock the drawer. In the present embodiment, the corresponding projection may be located on the position lock device 7, but the present invention is not limited thereto.
The above describes the falling prevention device of the drawer of the switchgear of the present invention. It follows that the fall arrest device of the present invention has the advantage that actuation of the fall arrest device, and hence fall arrest of the drawer, can be achieved without the need for additional components or manual operation, and only the existing unlocking components on the drawer.
Moreover, the technical features disclosed above are not limited to the combinations with other features disclosed, and other combinations between the technical features can be performed by those skilled in the art according to the purpose of the invention, so as to achieve the purpose of the invention.
