In the subsequent production of preparing sulfuric acid, the dry powder obtained by drying in the comparative example 1 can not be fully combusted, but the dry powder obtained by drying the sulfur slurry waste liquid after adding the catalyst of the invention can be fully combusted, so that the yield of preparing sulfuric acid is improved.

mixing the sulfur pulp and the salt pulp to obtain sulfur pulp waste liquid;
adding a catalyst into the sulfur pulp waste liquid, and drying the sulfur pulp waste liquid; and
burning the dry powder obtained by drying;
the catalyst comprises 100 parts by weight of oil slag and 0-0.7 part by weight of washing powder, and the addition amount of the catalyst is 0.1-5% of the mass of the sulfur pulp waste liquid; the mass concentration of the sulfur slurry waste liquid is 50-95%; the oil residue material is vegetable oil or oil residue after oil extraction of animals and plants;
the preparation method of the catalyst comprises the following steps:
a. uniformly mixing the oil slag material and the washing powder in a designed proportion;
b. grinding the mixed substances in the step a into 10-1000 mesh micro powder.
