In the assembly station of the AirMax RA product series of the high-speed backplane connector, as shown in fig. 9, the conductive terminals 52 and the ground terminals 53 need to be pressed into the connector housing 51, and the conventional assembly method is manual pressing, which is inefficient and has low accuracy. fourth step: pushing the entire lower die assembly 3 to position the guide pin 422 directly above the guide hole 363;
fifth step: starting pneumatic press equipment, wherein the upper die holder assembly 2 drives the upper die assembly 4 to press downwards, and the upper pressing block 44 presses the conductive terminal 52 into a mounting groove at the upper end of the connector shell 51;
sixth step: as the upper die assembly 4 continues to be pushed down, the floating press block 45 contacts the top plate 41, and the floating press block 45 moves the second positioning plate 36 downward, so that the ground terminal 53 is pressed into the mounting groove at the lower end of the connector housing 51, and the upper die assembly 4 is reset to complete the pressing process.
