The invention provides a quick clamping drill chuck which solves the technical problem of lower working efficiency of the existing drill chuck, and comprises a drill body, clamping jaws, nuts, steel balls, clamping springs and a rear cover, wherein the clamping jaws are respectively arranged in drill body grooves which are uniformly distributed along the circumferential direction on the drill body, the rear end of the drill body is fixed with the rear cover through the clamping springs, drill body threads are arranged on the outer circle of the front end of the drill body, the nuts are in threaded connection with the drill body through the drill body threads, grooves are formed in the inner wall of the nuts, two sides of the grooves are respectively provided with a nut clamping positioning surface and a nut loosening positioning surface, the nut loosening positioning surface protrudes out of the inner wall of the nuts and is perpendicular to the inner wall of the nuts, and two side surfaces of the front end of the clamping jaws are respectively provided with a clamping jaw clamping positioning surface and a clamping jaw loosening positioning surface.

The clamping jaw 3 is provided with the positioning ball groove 11, the steel ball 4 is matched with the positioning ball groove 11, as shown in fig. 12, the spherical surface of the positioning ball groove 11 comprises three transition arcs, namely a low arc 17, a middle arc 18 and a high arc 19, the radian of the high arc 19 in the positioning ball groove 11 is sequentially higher than that of the middle arc 18 and the low arc 17, slight difference exists among the heights of the low arc 17, the middle arc 18 and the high arc 19, the steel ball 4 rolls and rubs when the transition arc area is clamped, and the purposes of reducing friction and improving unlocking moment when the steel ball is loosened can be achieved.
As shown in fig. 13,14 and 15, when the nut 2 rotates clockwise relative to the drill body 1, the nut clamping locating surface 15 drives the clamping jaw clamping locating surface 12, so that the clamping jaw 3 rotates clockwise around the round pin 7, and when the three clamping jaws 3 are in rotary contact, the minimum clamping range can be reached, the drill chuck is in a clamping state, and the steel ball 4 is located in the low arc 17 of the clamping jaw locating ball groove.
As shown in fig. 16, 17 and 18, when the nut 2 is rotated counterclockwise, the nut loosening positioning surface 16 drives the jaw loosening positioning surface 13 so that the jaw 3 rotates around the round pin 7, and a completely loosened state can be achieved with a rotation of less than 90 degrees; meanwhile, the steel ball 4 slides from the low arc 17 of the positioning ball groove 11 to the middle arc 18 of the positioning ball groove 11 and finally reaches the position of the middle high arc 19 of the positioning ball groove 11, and as the high arc 19 of the positioning ball groove 11 is slightly higher than the middle arc 18 of the positioning ball groove and the middle arc 18 of the positioning ball groove 11 is slightly higher than the low arc 17 of the positioning ball groove 11, huge resistance is generated when loosening, and the loosening moment is effectively increased.
