Background
Temporomandibular joint is the movable joint in front of ears on both sides of the face, is the only left and right bilateral linkage joint of the maxillofacial region, and has certain stability and multidirectional mobility. Under the action of muscles, the Chinese herbal medicine composition participates in various important activities such as chewing, swallowing, language and expression. The temporomandibular joint consists of the condyloid process of the mandible, the joint fossa, the joint disc between the two, the joint capsule around the joint and the joint ligaments. The temporomandibular joint is closely related to the daily life of people, is frequently used and is easy to cause injury and pathological changes.
Common diseases include temporomandibular joint disorder, mandibular condyloid fracture, temporomandibular joint ankylosis, condyloid tumor, etc. According to the statistics of experts at home and abroad, 25-50% of people in the population suffer from temporomandibular joint disorder, the disease occurs better in young and middle-aged people, and the prevalence rate and the diagnosis rate are the highest according to the age of 20-30. In recent years, with the increase of traffic accidents, cases of temporomandibular joint trauma and condyloid fracture are also obviously increased, and temporomandibular joint rigidity and temporomandibular joint dislocation are also more. With the improvement of living standard and the pursuit of beauty, in recent years, the number of operators who perform operations due to secondary deformity of the maxillofacial region caused by arthropathy is increasing.

After the distraction requirement is met, the distraction degree can be locked only by the locking device, secondary injury to an operator caused by unstable distraction is avoided, smooth operation is ensured, and an additional assistant is not needed.
The technical terms relating to the zygomatic root and mandibular sigmoid notch are explained as follows: the zygomatic arch is composed of two bones, and the zygomatic arch formed by the temporal zygomatic process and the temporal zygomatic process is positioned on both sides of the craniofacial bones and is in an outward bow shape. The mandibular incision or sigmoid incision is the concave border between two bony prominences above the mandibular ramus, the posterior bony prominence is called the condyloid process, and the anterior bony prominence is called the coracoid process or the muscular process.
Preferably, the rotating mechanism comprises a control gear and a butterfly handle, so that the gear can roll on the teeth by screwing the butterfly handle.
Preferably, the movable joint is arranged in the middle of the screw rod of the butterfly handle, and after the movable joint is bent by 90 degrees, the planes of the two handles of the butterfly handle are tightly attached to the side plate of the connecting piece (the side plate and the butterfly handle can be made of materials capable of attracting each other or the position of the movable joint can be accurately set), and the butterfly handle is locked due to the friction force of the two attached planes. Since the radius of the butterfly handle is more than 3 times of the radius of the gear, the gear can be screwed only by external force which is more than 3 times of friction force, and the gear which does not actually have external force action can not be screwed and locked. Other forms of locking means may of course be provided, but the engagement of the butterfly wrench and the side plate as a locking means by means of a movable joint as described above greatly simplifies the construction.
Preferably, the movable arm moves up and down in the square sleeve through the screw on the side wall of the square sleeve, the length of the square rod of the movable arm accounts for 1/2 of the total length of the movable arm, namely the up-down movable distance accounts for half of the total length of the movable arm, so that the movable arm can move up and down and can move left and right, the position can be conveniently adjusted, and the propped joint can be accurately aligned.
Preferably, the length of the moving arm is greater than or equal to that of the fixed arm, the length of the fixed arm ranges from 2cm to 5cm, the length of the moving arm ranges from 2cm to 7cm, the length of the sliding body ranges from 3cm to 6cm, the length of the rack accounts for 1/2-1 of the total length of the sliding body, and the diameter of the moving arm and the round rod at the bottom of the fixed arm is 0.25 mm.
Preferably, the lower end of the mobile arm has a horizontal cross-bar, which can be selected to have different specifications, for example 0.5cm, 1cm, 1.5cm or 2cm, for matching different patients of different ages and sexes, for example children and adults, whose distance from the sigmoid notch to the zygomatic root is different.
Preferably, the handle rod is arranged on the side surface of the sliding body, preferably on the same side with the butterfly handle and the screw, and is vertically distributed with the sliding body and the fixing arm to form distribution similar to an x-y-z axis, so that an operator can hold the handle rod conveniently, and particularly after the handle rod is unfolded, the handle rod is kept in a stable unfolded state.
Preferably, the fixed arm hook and the moving arm hook are C-shaped, supporting abutment more firmly and stably.
