Having described the technical solutions of the embodiments of the present invention, various non-limiting embodiments of the present application are described in detail below.
Referring first to fig. 1, fig. 1 is a schematic flowchart of a method for a storage file system virtual platform to manage a storage device volume according to an embodiment of the present invention, where the embodiment of the present invention may include the following:
s101: and setting attribute information for each virtual management platform in the virtual platform group in advance.
Integrating a plurality of virtual management platforms into a virtual platform group, and mapping each virtual management platform to the virtual platform group. The virtual platform group is arranged at the front end of the storage device and manages volumes mapped by the storage system together, so that when the virtual platform maps to the storage device and issues commands or transmits data, a corresponding optimal virtual platform object can be selected from the platforms to map.
The virtual platform group at least comprises one virtual management platform member, the number of virtual management platforms in one virtual platform group can be determined according to the physical hardware environment, the software carrying environment and the service running condition of the actual storage device, and the method is not limited in any way.
Each virtual management platform in the virtual platform group has attribute information, which may be an IOgroup attribute (IO cluster attribute), a site attribute (site attribute), a Type attribute (Type attribute), and a Port access attribute (Port access channel attribute). The IO cluster attributes are attribution attributes, and one IOgroup is composed of two node controllers in a chassis, namely, the IOgroup attributes of virtual management platforms belonging to two same node controllers in the same chassis are specifically the same. The site attribute is a double live volume, and comprises two sites, wherein one site is used as a main site to process various requests, the other site is a standby site, and related services can be processed by the standby site only after the main site fails. The Type attribute is the Type of the virtual management platform, and the Port access attribute is the authority of whether a certain storage volume is read specifically. Of course, the attribute information of the virtual management platform may be added, deleted or changed according to the physical hardware environment, the software environment and the service running condition of the actual storage device, which does not affect the implementation of the present application.
The virtual platform group is arranged, so that the management mode of the virtual host object is changed from a single mode to a group management mode, and the stability and the safety of the system are greatly improved.
S102: and allocating a priority virtual management platform for each storage volume according to the IO cluster attribute of each virtual management platform so as to manage the mapping relation of the corresponding storage volume.
Each storage volume in the storage device is preset with a priority virtual management platform, and the priority virtual management platform issues a path for the optimal IO of the corresponding storage volume. The information of the storage volume preferentially processed by each virtual management platform can be written into the IO cluster attribute, so that when the virtual management platform is allocated to each storage volume, the respective preferential virtual management platform can be determined directly through the IO cluster attribute. That is, the storage volume is managed by a selected priority virtual management platform.
S103: and when the priority virtual management platform of the storage volume fails, matching the target virtual management platform from the virtual platform group according to the attribute information of each virtual management platform to serve as the optimal virtual management platform of the storage volume for mapping.
When a current virtual management platform (for example, a priority virtual management platform or an optimal virtual management platform) of a certain storage volume fails (for example, the virtual management platform is disconnected or an IO delivery path is lost), a system matches an optimal path with the fastest delivery data path and the highest transmission data efficiency for the storage volume from a virtual platform group based on attribute information of each virtual management platform, and the virtual management platform corresponding to the optimal path is a target management platform, that is, an optimal virtual management platform of the storage volume except the optimal virtual management platform.
In a specific implementation manner, a virtual management platform capable of reading a current storage volume can be selected from a virtual platform group based on port authority channel attributes, the virtual management platforms are placed into a candidate virtual platform group, virtual management platforms which do not belong to the same attribution cluster are deleted from the candidate virtual platform group based on IO cluster attributes, virtual management platforms which do not belong to the same type are deleted from the candidate virtual platform group based on type attributes, and finally virtual management platforms which belong to the same type supervision site are matched from the candidate virtual platform group based on site attributes to serve as an optimal virtual management platform. For example, if the current storage volume is hosted by site1, then the hosting site of the optimal virtual management platform is also site1, and unless site1 fails, the backup site of site1 is not selected.
When the priority virtual management platform fails, the most matched platform can be used for taking over the mapping relation of the storage volume, the priority path of the storage volume can be selected according to the attribute information, error in volume management is prevented, the volume can be operated, and therefore safety of data and rapidity of data transmission are guaranteed. The execution subject of the embodiment of the invention manages the storage volume by a plurality of virtual platforms, provides identification and authentication of the storage system and confirms the correctness of the optimal platform configuration.
In the technical scheme provided by the embodiment of the invention, a plurality of virtual management platforms are integrated into one virtual platform group, the attribute is set for each virtual management platform in the group, the management of a storage volume by the virtual management platforms is realized by managing the virtual platform group, the defect of single mapping between the traditional virtual management platform and the storage volume is overcome, the optimal path of a system can be selected based on the attribute value of each virtual management platform, and the platform migration can be carried out on the virtual management platform with a fault, so that the safety of data is ensured, and the safety of data issued by a server host is improved; and the timeliness of data transmission is ensured to the greatest extent, the data transmission efficiency between the virtual platform and the storage device is improved, data information loss caused by errors of the virtual management platform is avoided, and the system stability and reliability are improved.
Based on the above embodiment, in order to facilitate the unified management of the virtual platform group and improve the management efficiency of the virtual platform group, the attribute information of the same type of each virtual management platform in the virtual platform group can be modified in a unified manner according to the received attribute value modification instruction.
The attribute value change can comprise attribute deletion, attribute value change or attribute addition, and a user can also change the attribute information of each virtual management platform of the virtual platform group one by one, which does not influence the implementation of the application.
For example, when a site responsible for monitoring the virtual management platform is abnormal or a higher-performance site is enabled for supervision, the user needs to change the site attributes of each virtual management platform in the virtual platform group, the user only needs to send information of the source site (site1) and the changed site (site3), and the system uniformly modifies the site attributes of the virtual management platform of the source site in the virtual platform group to the changed site (site3) according to the information.
In addition, after the virtual platform group is created, an addvol command may also be created, some storage volumes may be added or removed from the designated storage volume using the addvol command, for example, candidate storage volumes may be added to the virtual platform group using the addvol command, and the designated storage volume may also be deleted from the virtual platform group using the addvol command. The candidate virtual management platform can be added into the virtual platform group, and the appointed virtual management platform can be deleted from the virtual platform group. In addition, the virtual platform group can be deleted or created.
The embodiment of the invention also provides a corresponding implementation device for the method for managing the storage device volume by the virtual platform of the storage file system, so that the method has higher practicability.
