Abstract

The invention provides a light stabilizer composition for nylon, wherein the component mainly playing a role in light stabilization comprises a hindered amine light stabilizer containing an amide energy group and a polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer. The hindered amine light stabilizer containing the amide energy group can obviously stabilize the processing process of a nylon melt and increase the long-term thermal stability and light stability of the material, but because the molecular weight of the hindered amine light stabilizer is low, the hindered amine light stabilizer is easy to volatilize and has poor extraction resistance, the hindered amine light stabilizer containing the amide energy group and the polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer with high molecular weight are compounded for use, the hindered amine light stabilizer containing the amide energy group and the polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer can generate obvious synergistic effect, the performance of the polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer which is not easy to lose in extraction resistance can make up the defect of the hindered amine light stabilizer containing the amide energy group, and the processability and the light aging performance of the nylon material can be obviously improved by the compounding of the hindered amine light stabilizer containing the amide energy group and the polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer.

Description

Light stabilizer composition for nylon
Technical Field
The invention belongs to the technical field of functional additives of high polymer materials, and particularly relates to a light stabilizer composition which has a very good application effect when used for nylon.
Background
Nylon is an important engineering plastic, has excellent mechanical property, oil resistance, abrasion resistance and processability, and is widely applied to industry.
However, the nylon is affected by factors such as light in the outdoor use process, the nylon undergoes photolysis and photooxidation, chemical bonds are broken to generate free radicals and peroxides, unstable peroxides are decomposed to form free radicals, and a series of cracking reactions are further initiated, so that the structure and the performance of the nylon are fundamentally changed. The changes can bring about the degradation of mechanical properties caused by the aging of the material, the reduction of relative molecular mass, the degradation of mechanical properties, color changes and the like, thereby not only greatly shortening the service life of the material, but also causing a large amount of environmental waste. Therefore, the research on the light stabilization of nylon has important significance for the application and development of the nylon.
The prior art generally improves the long-term heat aging properties by adding the necessary light stabilizers. The light stabilizer has the functions of eliminating generated free radicals and preventing chain degradation reaction, namely preventing or inhibiting the photo-oxidation process of the polymer material, thereby preventing the organic material from aging and prolonging the service life of the organic material. Among the light stabilizers used, low molecular weight hindered amine light stabilizers are effective at the initial stage of use, but are volatile and have poor extraction resistance, and are liable to escape during polymer processing, resulting in a decrease in long-term stability. Compared with the hindered amine light stabilizer with low molecular weight, the polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer has obvious long-acting effect, but is not uniformly dispersed in the using process, and has certain influence on subsequent processing. Meanwhile, the polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer is not diffused as much as the low molecular weight hindered amine light stabilizer, and is not beneficial to supplement from the inside of the product to the surface, thereby influencing the full play of the light stability.
Therefore, it is of great importance to develop novel light stabilizers for nylon materials.
Disclosure of Invention
The invention aims to provide a novel light stabilizer composition aiming at the problems that the existing nylon product is influenced by illumination when used outdoors, the color turns yellow, the mechanical property is gradually reduced, and the product performance can not be protected.
Specifically, the present invention provides a light stabilizer composition, which mainly comprises the following components: hindered amine light stabilizers containing amide energy groups and polymeric hindered amine light stabilizers.
The amide structure in the hindered amine light stabilizer containing the amide energy group is highly compatible with nylon, and can be bonded with nylon molecules together, so that the stability of the hindered amine light stabilizer containing the amide energy group exceeds that of the traditional light stabilizer, the processing process of a nylon melt can be obviously stabilized, the long-term thermal stability and the light stability of the material are improved, but the molecular weight of the hindered amine light stabilizer containing the amide energy group is lower, the hindered amine light stabilizer containing the amide and the polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer containing high molecular weight are volatile and have poor extraction resistance, the hindered amine light stabilizer containing the amide energy group and the polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer can be compounded for use, the hindered amine light stabilizer containing the amide energy group and the polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer can generate obvious synergistic effect, the performance of the polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer which is not easy to lose in extraction resistance can make up the deficiency of the hindered amine light stabilizer containing the amide energy group, and the compound use of the two can obviously improve various performances of the material.
Preferably, the hindered amine light stabilizer containing amide energy groups is one or more selected from bis (2,2,6, 6-tetramethyl-3-piperidinylamino) -isophthalamide, N- (2-ethoxyphenyl) -N '- (4-ethylphenyl) -oxalamide and N- (5- (1,1) dimethylethyl) -2-ethoxyphenyl) -N' - (2-ethylphenyl) oxalamide.
More preferably, the hindered amine light stabilizer containing an amide energy group is selected from bis (2,2,6, 6-tetramethyl-3-piperidinylamino) -isophthalamide.
The di (2,2,6, 6-tetramethyl-3-piperidylamino) -isophthalamide is also called S-EED and is a multifunctional stabilizer suitable for nylon, and researches show that the S-EED can stabilize the melt pressure of nylon, stabilize the processing process and reduce broken filaments during fiber spinning; meanwhile, the S-EED is highly compatible with nylon and can be bonded with nylon molecules together, so that the stability of the S-EED on the nylon exceeds the limit of the traditional light stabilizer. Generally, S-EED is used alone in polymers, and has a remarkable effect in the initial stage of use of nylon, but is liable to be dissipated during processing to cause a reduction in the long-term stability. The research of the invention finds that when the S-EED and the ultraviolet absorbent in the light stabilizer are compounded for use, the effect of the ultraviolet absorbent in the fields of fibers, films and the like is poor, and the compounded effect is not ideal. Further research shows that when the S-EED and the polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer in the light stabilizer are compounded for use, the S-EED has good synergistic interaction, can obviously improve the light stability of nylon, and has the characteristic of remarkably preventing nylon from aging.
The polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer of the present invention is preferably a product having a molecular weight greater than 2100. Preferably, the polymeric hindered amine light stabilizer is selected from the group consisting of polysuccinic acid (4-hydroxy-2, 2,6, 6-tetramethyl-1-piperidinol) ester, poly { [6- [ (1,1,3, 3-tetramethylbutyl) amino ] ] -1,3, 5-triazine-2, 4- [ (2,2,6,6, -tetramethyl-piperidinyl) imino ] -1, 6-hexadiene [ (2,2,6, 6-tetramethyl-4-piperidinyl) imino ] }, poly [ (6-morpholinyl-1, 3, 5-triazine-2, 4-yl) - ((2,2,6, 6-tetramethyl-4-piperidinyl) imino) hexane- ((2,2,6, 6-tetramethyl-4-piperidyl) imido) ].
Wherein, the poly succinic acid and (4-hydroxy-2, 2,6, 6-tetramethyl-1-piperidinol polymer), namely the light stabilizer 622 is a polymeric high molecular weight hindered amine light stabilizer which is an oligomer and has good processing heat stabilizer and good compatibility with various resins; meanwhile, the modified polyvinyl chloride has high molecular weight and good water extraction resistance, and is not easy to lose in the processing and using processes. Poly [ (6-morpholinyl-1, 3, 5-triazin-2, 4-yl) - ((2,2,6, 6-tetramethyl-4-piperidinyl) imido) hexane- ((2,2,6, 6-tetramethyl-4-piperidinyl) imido) ] i.e. a light stabilizer 3346.
