Referring to fig. 1, a transparent display module according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a transparent display panel 1, an ambient light source 2, a central control circuit 4, a display panel driving circuit 5, and a light source control circuit 6. The atmosphere light source 2 is arranged on at least one side of the transparent display panel 1 and comprises light emitting units with multiple colors; the central control circuit 4 is used for outputting a first signal and a second signal; the display panel driving circuit 5 is connected with the central control circuit 4 and the transparent display panel 1 and is used for responding to a first signal to drive the transparent display panel 1 to display a picture; the light source control circuit 6 is connected to the central control circuit 4 and the ambience light source 2 for driving the ambience light source 2 to emit light and for adjusting the lighting parameters of the ambience light source 2 in response to the second signal.
Transparent display panel 1 is liquid crystal display panel, and atmosphere light source 2 includes the luminescence unit of multiple colour, can provide multiple different light for transparent liquid crystal display panel to richen display effect. referring to fig. 2, the transparent display panel 1 has left and right light incident sides, and the ambience light source 2 is a side light incident type light source, and is disposed on the light incident side of the transparent display panel 1, and may be located on only one of the light incident sides, or may be distributed on the left and right light incident sides. The effect of the atmosphere light source 2 is the same as that of the backlight source 3 of the traditional liquid crystal display panel, and the emitted light is modulated by structures such as a light guide plate, an array substrate and a liquid crystal layer in the liquid crystal display panel and then displayed, and the difference is that the atmosphere light source 2 comprises light emitting units with various colors, and any one of the colors can be displayed under the regulation and control of a second signal, so that the transparent display panel 1 integrally displays corresponding colors, particularly, a region without a displayed picture can present specific colors, and the whole display panel is rich in presentation effect. The atmosphere light source 2 can be an RGBW (Red Green Blue White) light bar or an RGB (Red Green Blue ) light bar, can provide light with various colors, and is convenient to control and simple in structure. In this embodiment, the RGBW light bar is disposed on one side of the transparent display panel 1 as a single-side incident light source.
Specifically, in this embodiment, the second signal may include an ambient light brightness adjustment signal, and the light source control circuit 6 adjusts the brightness parameter of the light bar in response to the ambient light brightness adjustment signal, so that the brightness of the light bar is changed, thereby achieving the display effect of changing the brightness of the display panel. The second signal may further include a color adjustment signal, and the light source control circuit 6 adjusts the color parameter of the light bar in response to the color adjustment signal, so that the color of the light bar is changed, thereby achieving a display effect in which the color of the display panel is changed. The second signal may further include a frequency adjustment signal, and the light source control circuit 6 adjusts a frequency parameter of light emission of the light bar in response to the frequency adjustment signal, so that a switching speed of the light bar during color conversion is changed, thereby realizing a display effect in which the display panel is switched between different colors at different speeds. Under the regulation and control of the second signal, the brightness, the color or the switching speed of the atmosphere light source 2 can be changed, and various different display effects can be provided.
In this embodiment, referring to fig. 1, the transparent display module further includes a backlight 3, and the backlight 3 includes a white light emitting unit. The backlight 3 has the same function as the backlight 3 of the conventional liquid crystal display panel, and can provide white light for the transparent liquid crystal display panel, and the white light is modulated by the structures such as the light guide plate, the array substrate, the liquid crystal layer and the like in the liquid crystal display panel and then displayed. The backlight 3 uses white light as a basic light source of the liquid crystal display panel, so that the transparent liquid crystal display panel can have the most basic display effect, and meanwhile, the brightness and the definition of a picture can also be ensured. When the backlight 3 and the ambient light source 2 provide light simultaneously, the light of the backlight and the ambient light source is uniformly mixed by the light guide plate, the diffusion plate and other structures of the liquid crystal display panel and then emitted out, so that the display effect of the display panel is achieved. Referring to fig. 2, the backlight 3 is also disposed at the light incident side of the transparent display panel 1, and may be only located at one light incident side, or may be distributed at the left and right light incident sides; may be disposed on the same side as the atmosphere light source 2, or may be disposed on a different side from the atmosphere light source 2. The backlight 3 may be a common LED light bar, and in other embodiments, the backlight 3 may also be other light sources such as CCFL, which is not listed here. In this embodiment, a common white light emitting LED light bar is disposed on the other side of the transparent display panel 1 opposite to the ambient light source.
Like the atmosphere light source 2, the backlight 3 may also adjust the light emission parameters under the control of the light source control circuit 6 to change the display effect. However, the backlight 3 and the atmosphere light source 2 are controlled individually by different signals, the backlight 3 is controlled by a third signal output from the central control circuit 4, and the light source control circuit 6 drives the backlight 3 to emit light in response to the third signal and adjusts the light emission parameters of the backlight 3.
Specifically, the third signal includes a backlight luminance adjusting signal, and the light source control circuit 6 adjusts the luminance parameter of the backlight 3 in response to the backlight luminance adjusting signal to change the degree of brightness of the display screen.
Referring to fig. 3, the circuit structure of the present embodiment may be implemented by using a video playing main board with a CPU as a center under an architecture such as an ARM or an X86, and the central control circuit 4 has an operating system such as an android or a windows, and can implement a relatively complex control function. The intelligent USB interface circuit is also provided with common serial port transmission units such as an IO controller, a USB controller and an I2C controller, and can realize smooth transmission of information flow among circuits. In other embodiments, the central control circuit 4 may also use other playing motherboards to play static contents such as pictures and characters.
The display panel driving circuit 5 uses a liquid crystal display driving board, can convert the video signal provided by the central control circuit 4 into an LVDS signal required by the transparent liquid crystal display panel, and can provide power to the transparent display panel 1.
The light source control circuit 6 includes a signal generation circuit for generating the second signal and the third signal. The signal generating circuit includes a pulse width modulation controller (PWM controller 7) which converts the light emission control information of the atmosphere light source 2 and the backlight 3 supplied from the central control circuit 4 into a PWM pulse width, and the light source control circuit 6 controls the color, brightness, or switching speed of the light source according to the pulse width. The light source control circuit 6 further comprises a constant current source driving circuit, which can convert a 220V ac power source into a constant current source to drive the ambient light source 2 or the backlight 3, so as to ensure a stable display effect. In other embodiments, the PWM controller 7 may also be disposed in the central control circuit, and directly provide the PWM pulse width signal to the light source control circuit 6, and the light source control circuit 6 controls the color, brightness or switching speed of the light source according to the pulse width. According to the types of the ambient light source 2 and the backlight 3, the light source control circuit 6 is connected to corresponding interfaces, for example, when the ambient light source 2 adopts an RGBW lamp bar, the RGBW interface may be composed of a 5-core connector.
Taking the atmosphere light source 2 as an example, the working principle of the circuit structure is as follows: central control circuit 4 receives and transmits data processing back for light source control circuit 6 through I2C after the order, light source control circuit 6 produces multichannel PWM control signal through PWM controller 7, control the size of R, G, B, W way electric current respectively, thereby can realize break-make and the luminance of the different colour wick of RGBW lamp strip, realize the arbitrary combination of three primary colors light under the different intensity, thereby realize the colour of lamp strip, the change of luminance and speed, thereby can realize that the atmosphere light of whole transparent display panel 1 has nimble abundant change. The adjustment of the backlight 3 is the same as the ambient light source 2, and will not be described here.
In this embodiment, the central control circuit 4 further includes a wireless transmission circuit 8, and the light emitting parameters of the ambient light source 2 and the backlight 3 are remotely controlled through wireless transmission. The wireless transmission mode can be wifi, bluetooth, 2.4Ghz and other wireless transmission modes, and can be remotely controlled through a controller or a mobile phone and other devices.
In the present embodiment, in order to further improve the operation diversity of the transparent display panel 1, the transparent display module may further include a touch unit 9, and the touch unit 9 is connected to the central control circuit 4 and operated by touching a functional diagram on the transparent display panel 1 with a finger or a pen tip. The touch unit 9 can be in various touch forms such as a resistive type, an infrared type, a capacitive type and the like.
The transparent display panel 1, the atmosphere light source 2 and the backlight source 3 of the present embodiment are all located between a front frame 10 and a back plate 11, and the positions of the front frame 10 and the back plate 11 for fixing the atmosphere light source 2 and the backlight source 3 are provided with grooves for placing the light bar therein.
