Abstract
The invention relates to a gas protection process for the back of a main body weld of a water tank of a high-speed motor train unit, which comprises a water tank, wherein the water tank is welded into a tetragonal structure through six stainless steel plates, main body weld joints are formed on two long edges of the upper surface of the water tank and four vertical edges of the side surface of the water tank, and each weld joint is subjected to gas protection. The invention has convenient operation, carries out back gas protection on the main body welding line of the water tank liner, can effectively prevent the back surface of the main body welding line from being oxidized, improves the quality of the main body welding line, and improves the sealing performance and the corrosion resistance of the water tank; and meanwhile, the main body welding seam sand blasting process can be eliminated, and the production efficiency is improved.

the fifth step: two minutes before welding, 99.99 percent of argon is filled in the flexible bellows according to the requirement in the third step;
and a sixth step: welding according to the corresponding welding process file by a welder;
the seventh step: and after the welding is finished, cooling the main body welding line for 3-10 minutes, and removing the polyimide film adhesive tape and the snakeskin tube to obtain the main body welding line with good surface quality and golden color.

According to the design of the snakeskin tube, the snakeskin tube has good flexibility, high temperature resistance, wear resistance and tensile resistance, can be manually bent into a required shape, and is convenient to be attached to welding seams at different positions; meanwhile, the vent holes are uniformly distributed on the pipe wall, so that uniform and stable protective airflow can be formed on the surface of the welding seam, and the welding seam is prevented from being oxidized in the welding process.
