During use, the firewood may fall between the first guide plate and the second guide plate (although the first guide plate and the second guide plate are not overlapped in the longitudinal direction, they are distributed in an X-shape as viewed from the end) and may be caught between the first guide plate and the second guide plate, in order to avoid such a situation. The first electromagnet part, the second electromagnet part and the movable iron plate are designed, when the push plate is positioned at the first position (corresponding to the figure 3), the first electromagnet part is opened, the second electromagnet part is closed, and therefore the movable iron plate is inclined towards the direction far away from the fixed end of the hydraulic push rod, and firewood is easier to fall onto the second material receiving plate; when the push plate is located at the second position (corresponding to fig. 4), the second electromagnet part is opened, the first electromagnet part is closed, and the movable iron plate is inclined towards the direction close to the fixed end of the hydraulic push rod, so that the firewood is easier to fall onto the first material receiving plate. And the state switching of the movable iron plate is automatically controlled by the controller according to the position of the push plate.
During specific operation, when the push plate is located at the first position, the conveying unit is started to enable one firewood to fall into the second material receiving plate, the conveying unit is stopped, and the firewood is split; when the push plate is located at the second position, the conveying unit is started to enable one firewood to fall into the first material receiving plate, the conveying unit is stopped, and the firewood is split; and circulating in sequence. The start-stop control of the conveying unit and the start-stop control of the hydraulic push rod can be manually controlled. Of course, if the wood to be split is of a similar size, the wood splitting machine can be designed to be automatically controlled.
