By determining whether or not only a dog enters the gate in the sensing step S15, and thus determining whether or not to start the image capturing step S11 and the determining step S12, energy can be saved in idle time.
As shown in fig. 12, in one example, the method may further include an illumination step S16 of emitting only illumination light to the dog. In some environments, light is darker, or because the dog is short, ambient light or ambient lighting is shielded by the gate, so that light in a gate channel is insufficient, the quality of the dog image acquired in the image acquisition step S11 is low, and an identification judgment result is affected. Through supplementary illumination, can improve dog image quality to improve the accuracy of discernment judgement.
As shown in fig. 13, in another example, a light sensing step S161 may be further included, in which the light intensity is sensed, and when the light intensity is smaller than the threshold, the illuminating step S16 is performed, otherwise, the illuminating step S16 is not performed. Whether supplementary lighting is needed or not is judged according to the light intensity of the environment, so that the influence of too dark light and excessive lighting on the image of the dog can be avoided.
