Description
Technical Field
The invention relates to a hard disk nominal box, in particular to a hard disk nominal box with an elastic clamping and fixing piece.
Background
At present, when a consumer purchases a server host, the consumer can generally select whether the number of hard disks to be loaded in the server host is full or not. The full amount of the hard disks is that the hard disks are installed in all the hard disk slots of the casing of the server host, and the non-full amount of the hard disks is that the hard disks are installed in only part of the hard disk slots.
Generally, before the server host is shipped, a manufacturer will load the hard disk into the hard disk carrier, then load the hard disk carrier with the hard disk into the hard disk slot, and then ship the server host to the customer. If the number of the hard disks selected by the consumer when purchasing the server host is not full, the manufacturer can simultaneously load the hard disk carriers with the hard disks and the hard disk carriers without the hard disks into the hard disk slots, so as to achieve the effects of dust prevention and the like and avoid the appearance of the server host from being chipped.
However, the conventional hard disk carrier has both structural strength and fixing strength with the casing, so that the structure is complicated and the manufacturing cost is high. Therefore, loading the hard disk carriers with and without hard disks into the server host at the same time increases the production cost of the entire server host. In addition, after the hard disk carriers with and without hard disks are loaded into the server host, the appearance of the server host looks the same, so that it is difficult for other people to distinguish whether the hard disks are loaded in the hard disk carriers, which causes inconvenience in use.

In detail, please refer to fig. 7 and 8. Fig. 7 is a schematic cross-sectional view of the hard disk dummy cartridge of fig. 1 mounted in a chassis. Fig. 8 is a schematic cross-sectional view of the clamping portion of the elastic clamping member in fig. 7 at an abdicating position.
As shown in fig. 7, when the hard disk dummy cartridge 10 is installed in the chassis 20 and the fastening portion 240 of the elastic fastening member 200 is located at the fastening position, the fastening portion 240 of the elastic fastening member 200 is located outside the sliding groove 115 and fastened in the fastening groove 22 of the side wall 21 of the chassis 20. At this time, the hard disk dummy cartridge 10 is fixed within the housing 20 and cannot be directly taken out from the housing 20. In addition, when the fastening portion 240 of the elastic fastening member 200 is located at the fastening position, the elastic force of the elastic sheet portion 210 of the elastic fastening member 200 can make the positioning hook portion 220 hook the stop bump 1111; thus, the position of the overall elastic clamping member 200 is positioned, so that the clamping portion 240 is kept clamped in the clamping groove 22 of the side wall 21 of the casing 20, thereby improving the effect of fixing the hard disk dummy cartridge 10 in the casing 20.
When the hard disk dummy cartridge 10 needs to be taken out from the housing 20, the operating portion 230 of the elastic locking member 200 is forced to move the operating portion 230 and compress the elastic piece portion 210, so that the locking portion 240 moves from the locking position to the receding position. As shown in fig. 8, when the fastening portion 240 of the elastic fastening member 200 is located at the yielding position, at least a portion of the fastening portion 240 is located in the sliding slot 115 and separated from the fastening slot 22 of the side wall 21 of the housing 20, and the positioning hook portion 220 is separated from the stopping protrusion 1111. At this time, the dummy hard disk cartridge 10 can be extracted from the housing 20.
When the hard disk dummy cartridge 10 needs to be installed back into the housing 20, a force is applied to the operation portion 230 to make the locking portion 240 located at the receding position first and to compress the elastic piece portion 210. Next, as shown in fig. 8, the hard disk dummy cartridge 10 is loaded into the housing 20, and the locking portion 240 is aligned with the card slot 22 of the side wall 21 of the housing 20. After the fastening portion 240 is aligned with the card slot 22, the force applied to the operation portion 230 is stopped, and at this time, the elastic piece portion 210 rebounds, so that the fastening portion 240 moves to the fastening position and is fastened into the card slot 22 (as shown in fig. 7). In this way, the operation of mounting the hard disk dummy cartridge 10 in the housing 20 is completed.
In the present embodiment, since the guiding protrusions 1112 and 1121 of the bottom plate 111 and the top plate 112 are located in the two guiding slots 231 of the operating portion 230, the operating portion 230 can be guided by the two guiding protrusions 1112 and keep moving linearly during the sliding of the operating portion 230. Therefore, smoothness of the fastening or releasing of the fastening portion 240 to or from the card slot 22 can be ensured.
Next, referring to fig. 3 and fig. 9, fig. 9 is a schematic cross-sectional view of the hard disk dummy cartridge of fig. 1 installed on another cross-sectional line of the chassis.
In the embodiment, the height H1 of the two cantilever portions 120 is equal and is smaller than the height H2 of the base portion 110, and an abutting surface 130 is provided between each cantilever portion 120 and the base portion 110. After the hard disk dummy cartridge 10 is loaded into the chassis 20, the two abutting surfaces 130 abut against the limiting surfaces 23 of the chassis 20. Thereby, the depth of the hard disk dummy cartridge 10 loaded into the casing 20 is positioned to prevent the hard disk dummy cartridge 10 from excessively penetrating into the casing 20.
According to the dummy hard disk box disclosed by the embodiment, the effect of clamping or releasing the dummy hard disk box on the shell can be achieved only through the simple elastic clamping piece, so that the manufacturing cost of the whole dummy hard disk box is low, and the cost can be saved by adopting the mode of filling the shell with the dummy hard disk box.
In addition, the dummy hard disk cartridge compresses the elastic sheet part by sliding the operation part of the elastic clamping piece to clamp the clamping part of the elastic clamping piece on the casing or separate the clamping part from the casing, so the dummy hard disk cartridge is different from the hard disk carrier for mounting the hard disk which is fixed on the casing or fixed off the casing. Therefore, the hard disk dummy box and the hard disk carrier can be easily distinguished from the appearance of the casing.
Although the present invention has been described with reference to the above embodiments, it should be understood that various changes and modifications can be made therein by those skilled in the art without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention.
