A Conditional Access System (CAS) is a core technology for developing pay television, and it is very critical to understand its operation mechanism, grasp its use and maintain the successful development of pay television service. The conditional access system sends live broadcast information to the set-top box through a CA broadcast channel, and further realizes a channel live broadcast function.
For authorized programs, after a user selects, the conditional access system directly issues live broadcast information to the set-top box, but for unauthorized channels, the conditional access system generally simply prompts the user that authorization is not opened, so that user experience is reduced, for example, the user may want to know about the channel and then decide whether to open authorization, and the prior art cannot meet the user requirement, thereby greatly reducing the user experience.

The data obtaining module 301 is configured to obtain, from the front-end server, preview configuration data of an unauthorized channel when the set-top box is powered on. For example, a request is sent to the front-end server when the computer is powered on, and the front-end server returns the trial configuration data.

Closing the authorisation data means that the unauthorised channel can no longer be live.
And the prompting module 304 is configured to pop up a related prompt and a subscription prompt box to guide the user to subscribe to the certain unauthorized channel after the authorization data of the certain unauthorized channel is closed.
