Detailed Description
The foregoing and other aspects, features and advantages of the invention will be apparent from the following more particular description of a preferred embodiment, as illustrated in the accompanying drawings. Directional terms as referred to in the following examples, for example: up, down, left, right, front or rear, etc., are referred to only in the direction of the attached drawings. Accordingly, the directional terminology is used for purposes of illustration and is in no way limiting.
Referring to fig. 1, fig. 2 and fig. 3, fig. 1 is a perspective view of a keyboard apparatus 10 according to an embodiment of the present invention, fig. 2 is a partially exploded view of a bottom plate 12, a button sheet 20 and a circuit board 18 in fig. 1, and fig. 3 is an assembled view of the bottom plate 12, the button sheet 20 and the circuit board 18 in fig. 2, as shown in fig. 1, fig. 2 and fig. 3, the keyboard apparatus 10 can be preferably applied to a general computer device (such as the notebook computer 1 shown in fig. 1, but not limited thereto) and includes a bottom plate 12, a plurality of keys 14, a touch pad device 16 and a circuit board 18. A plurality of buttons 14 are disposed on the bottom plate 12 for users to press, so as to execute the functions desired by the users. The touch pad device 16 includes a touch pad 17 and at least one button sheet 20 (two are shown in fig. 1, but not limited thereto). The touch pad 17 is disposed on the bottom plate 12 and located at one side of the plurality of keys 14 for a user to perform a corresponding touch operation, such as moving a cursor, and related descriptions of the touch principle and the device design are common in the prior art and will not be described herein again.
As will be described in detail below with respect to the connection design of the button sheet 20 and the bottom plate 12, as shown in fig. 1, 2 and 3, the button sheet 20 is located between the plurality of keys 14 and the touch pad 17 and has a pressing sheet 22 and an elastic arm 24, the elastic arm 24 extends from the pressing sheet 22 to the plurality of keys 14 and is formed with at least one three-jaw engaging structure 26 (two are shown in fig. 2, but not limited thereto), and the bottom plate 12 is formed with a protruding engaging structure 28 corresponding to the three-jaw engaging structure 26, so that the three-jaw engaging structure 26 can pivotally engage with the protruding engaging structure 28, so that the pressing sheet 22 can move up and down relative to the bottom plate 12.
In more detail, in this embodiment, the three-jaw engaging structure 26 may have two auxiliary jaws 30 and one engaging jaw 32, the two auxiliary jaws 30 are formed on two sides of the engaging jaw 32, the protruding engaging structure 28 is preferably formed on the bottom plate 12 in a stamping and recessing manner, the engaging jaw 32 is inserted and engaged in the protruding engaging structure 28 in a structure interference manner (as shown in fig. 3) and the two auxiliary jaws 30 are inserted in the protruding engaging structure 28 to prevent the button piece 20 from being laterally deflected by pressure, so that the elastic arm portion 24 can be pivoted to the bottom plate 12, so that the pressing piece 22 can be stably moved up and down relative to the bottom plate 12. In practical applications, as shown in fig. 2, the engaging claw 32 has an engaging end P, and a chamfered corner 34 may be formed at a position of the engaging end P of the engaging claw 32 corresponding to the protruding engaging structure 28, so as to guide the engaging claw 32 to smoothly extend into and engage with the protruding engaging structure 28. It should be noted that the engaging design of the auxiliary claws and the engaging claws and the protruding engaging structures is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiment, for example, in another embodiment, the engaging claws of the elastic arm can abut against the protruding engaging structures of the bottom plate and the two auxiliary claws can extend into the protruding engaging structures, so that the engaging claws and the two auxiliary claws can clamp the protruding engaging structures up and down to pivot the elastic arm to the protruding engaging structures of the bottom plate.
Referring to fig. 2, 4 and 5, fig. 4 isbase:Sub>A partial sectional view of the keyboard apparatus 10 of fig. 1 alongbase:Sub>A sectional linebase:Sub>A-base:Sub>A, fig. 5 isbase:Sub>A sectional view of the pressing sheet 22 of fig. 4 when pressed, as shown in fig. 2, 4 and 5, the circuit board 18 is disposed between the touch pad device 16 and the bottom plate 12 and hasbase:Sub>A switch 19 atbase:Sub>A position corresponding to the pressing sheet 22, so that when the pressing sheet 22 is pressed from the position shown in fig. 4 to the position shown in fig. 5, the pressing sheet 22 can press the trigger 19 correspondingly (for example, the pressing sheet 22 can havebase:Sub>A bump 23 to press the trigger 19, but is not limited thereto), so that the touch pad device 16 can performbase:Sub>A corresponding touch input function, such as clickingbase:Sub>A function icon.
With the above design, since the button piece 20 can be pivoted to the base 12 by directly engaging the three-jaw engaging structure 26 of the elastic arm 24 with the protruding engaging structure 28 of the base 12, there is no need to additionally fuse the base to form an engaging frame structure, so that the present invention can not only solve the problem of the prior art that the design of additionally fusing the engaging frame structure to the supporting iron plate increases the manufacturing cost and the assembling time of the keyboard, but also effectively reduce the overall height of the key, thereby facilitating the key to be thin.
It should be noted that the pivot design of the button piece and the bottom plate is not limited to the above-mentioned embodiment, for example, in another embodiment, the protruding engaging structure may be a bent piece formed by bending and protruding from the bottom plate in a manner of cutting and bending a plate, so that the engaging claw can extend into and engage under the bent piece in a structural interference manner, and the two auxiliary claws extend into the bent piece to prevent the button piece from being laterally deflected under pressure, so that the pressing piece of the button piece can stably move up and down relative to the bottom plate via the pivot connection of the elastic arm and the bottom plate; alternatively, in another embodiment, the protruding engaging structure may be a pivot hook protruding from the bottom plate, and the engaging claw may have a pivot end portion correspondingly, so that the pivot hook may lock the pivot end portion of the engaging claw and the two auxiliary claws abut against the bottom plate, so that the pressing piece portion of the button piece may move up and down stably relative to the bottom plate via the pivot connection of the elastic arm portion and the bottom plate. As for the detailed description of the above derived modified embodiment, it can be analogized with reference to fig. 2 to 4, and the description thereof is omitted.
In summary, the button sheet 20 of the present invention can be pivoted to the bottom plate 12 by directly engaging the three-claw engaging structure 26 of the elastic arm 24 with the protruding engaging structure 28 of the bottom plate 12, without forming an additional engaging frame structure on the bottom plate by hot melting, so that the present invention not only can solve the problem of the prior art that the design of additionally welding the engaging frame structure on the supporting iron plate increases the manufacturing cost and the assembling time of the keyboard, but also can effectively reduce the overall height of the key, thereby facilitating the thinning design of the key.
The above detailed description of the preferred embodiments is intended to more clearly describe the features and spirit of the present invention, and the scope of the present invention is not limited by the above disclosed preferred embodiments. On the contrary, it is intended to cover various modifications and equivalent arrangements included within the scope of the appended claims. The scope of the invention should therefore be accorded the broadest interpretation so as to encompass all such modifications and equivalent arrangements as is done in the foregoing description.
