Background
In the deep sea petroleum drilling process, the marine riser is required to be used for isolating seawater, a drill floor chuck is usually used for connecting and disassembling the marine riser, and a tensioning ring supports the marine riser, so that the marine riser at the bottom is prevented from buckling deformation due to overlarge length of the marine riser string.
The traditional chuck is installed on a drilling platform for use, and can only play a clamping role on the marine riser, when the marine riser needs to be replaced, the old pipe string can only be detached in sequence and then the new marine riser can be connected in sequence, and then the new marine riser is put into the corresponding sleeve for operation, so that a great deal of time is required in the process, the offshore operation cost is higher, the cost of offshore operation is greatly increased due to the process of the detachment and the re-connection of the marine riser, and a great deal of space is occupied by the marine riser after the marine riser is recovered to the upper surface of the drilling platform; when underground maintenance or displacement of the marine riser is required, the marine riser is required to be lifted to a drill floor; when the drilling platform clamps the riser, the wellhead chuck cannot perform other operations.
