Example one
As shown in fig. 1, a display panel provided by the present invention is shown. The display panel is formed with a display area AA with a curved edge, a plurality of first pixel units 1 arranged in an array are arranged in the display area AA, and a plurality of special-shaped areas B insufficient for placing one first pixel unit 1 are formed between the curved edge of the display area AA and the outermost first pixel unit 1; the special-shaped area B is internally provided with a second pixel unit 2, the second pixel unit 2 is consistent with the first pixel unit 1 in composition, and the light transmission area of the second pixel unit 2 is consistent with the residual light transmission area of the first pixel unit 1 cut by the curve edge if the first pixel unit 1 is arranged in the special-shaped area B.
In this way, at the position of the curved edge of the display area AA, in the case where a plurality of shaped areas B are formed, by arranging and forming one or more second pixel units 2 in each of the shaped areas B, the second pixel units 2 can be effectively adapted to the shape setting of the curved edge; therefore, the display panel with the display area AA with the curved edge is prevented from generating a sawtooth display phenomenon, and the second pixel unit 2 and the first pixel unit 1 are made to be consistent, namely the second pixel unit 2 is equivalent to the first pixel unit 1 with the correspondingly reduced light transmission area, so that the second pixel unit 2 can emit effective and uniform color light with the first pixel unit 1, the problem of color points caused by the adoption of the special-shaped pixel unit in the prior art is effectively solved, and the display quality is effectively improved.
Specifically, in this embodiment, the second pixel unit 2 and the first pixel unit 1 are formed in the same manner as the second pixel unit 2 and the first pixel unit 1 have the same sub-pixel unit compositions of multiple colors, and the arrangement of the sub-pixel units is also in the same manner. For example, as shown in fig. 2-3, the first pixel unit 1 includes first sub-pixel units of at least three colors, and in the present embodiment, each of the first pixel units 1 includes a first red sub-pixel unit 11, a first green sub-pixel unit 12, and a first blue sub-pixel unit 13; correspondingly, each second pixel unit 2 comprises a second red sub-pixel unit 21, a second green sub-pixel unit 22 and a second blue sub-pixel unit 23; further, in order to effectively ensure that the second pixel unit 2 at the edge position can emit effective and uniform light, the light transmission areas of the second red sub-pixel unit 21, the second green sub-pixel unit 22 and the second blue sub-pixel unit 23 are the same. The second pixel unit 2 and the first pixel unit 1 arranged in this way have good consistency, so that the design difficulty and the process difficulty can be effectively reduced. More specifically, the shapes of the second pixel unit 2 and the first pixel unit 1 can be kept consistent, so that the design is effectively simplified, and the pixel arrangement difficulty is effectively reduced.
Example two
As shown in fig. 4, this embodiment provides a pixel arrangement method of a display panel, which includes the following steps:

Step 2: determining the arrangement of the first pixel units 1 in an array arrangement manner in the display area AA, so that a plurality of special-shaped areas B insufficient for placing one first pixel unit 1 are formed between the curve edge of the display area AA and the outermost first pixel unit 1; specifically, as shown in fig. 6, that is, after the arrangement of the display area AA is determined, the first pixel units 1 are arranged in the display area AA as much as possible, wherein the first pixel units 1 are arranged in an array of rows and columns, and due to the existence of the curved edge of the display area AA, there is not enough space outside the outermost first pixel unit 1 to accommodate one or more complete first pixel units 1, and at this time, the irregular area B is correspondingly formed, and the arrangement of the irregular area B is effectively obtained.
And step 3: obtaining a residual light transmission area a1 after the first pixel unit 1 is cut by the curve edge when the first pixel unit 1 is arranged in the special-shaped area B according to the special-shaped area B; specifically, as shown in fig. 7, the step 3 includes: step 3.1: arranging a virtual first pixel unit 3 outside the outermost first pixel unit 1 according to the special-shaped area B; step 3.2: the cut residual area of the curved edge of the virtual first pixel unit 3 is obtained as the remaining light transmission area a1 of the first pixel unit 1 cut by the curved edge when the first pixel unit 1 is arranged in the irregular area B.
And 4, step 4: the second pixel unit 2 is arranged in the abnormal region B such that the light transmission area a2 of the second pixel unit 2 is equal to the remaining light transmission area a1 and the composition of the second pixel unit 2 is identical to that of the first pixel unit 1. Specifically, the step 4 further includes calculating the light transmission area of each sub-pixel in the second pixel unit 2, wherein in order to ensure that the light transmission area of each sub-pixel is equal, the light transmission area of the sub-pixel S = a/m, where a is the light transmission area of the second pixel unit, and m is the number of the sub-pixels. As in the present embodiment, the second pixel unit includes the second red sub-pixel unit 21, the second green sub-pixel unit 22, and the second blue sub-pixel unit 23, then the light transmission area Sr of the second red sub-pixel unit 21, the light transmission area Sg of the second green sub-pixel unit 22, and the light transmission area Sb of the second blue sub-pixel unit 23 satisfy Sr = Sg = Sb = a/3.
The above-mentioned embodiments only express the embodiments of the present invention, and the description is more specific and detailed, but not understood as the limitation of the patent scope of the present invention, but all the technical solutions obtained by using the equivalent substitution or the equivalent transformation should fall within the protection scope of the present invention.
