Background
The generator motor is mainly used for a pumped storage power station. Because the reversible pump turbine is used as a water turbine and the rotation direction of the pump is opposite when the pump operates, the generator motor also correspondingly runs in two directions. In order to realize bidirectional operation of the synchronous motor, the phase sequence of the power supply can be switched on the selection of the electrical main wiring and the switch device.
The pumped storage power station plays a role in valley filling and peak load regulation in a power system, the start and stop are required to be frequent, frequency modulation and phase modulation operation are required to be frequently carried out, and the working condition is also frequently adjusted. Under the frequently changing operating condition of the generator motor, the internal temperature changes naturally and severely, and no effective method for detecting the temperature in the shell of the generator motor exists at present.

The invention aims to overcome the defect that the temperature in the shell of a generator motor cannot be accurately detected in the prior art, and provides a generator motor temperature control device and method.
