Detailed Description
In order to make the technical solutions of the present invention better understood, the present invention will be described in further detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.
In an embodiment of the present invention, a display substrate includes a flexible substrate having opposing front and back surfaces and a side surface connecting the front and back surfaces. Wherein the front side refers to the light emitting surface of the display substrate and the back side refers to the non-light emitting surface of the flexible substrate. In addition, in the embodiment of the invention, the flexible substrate is divided into a display area, a Pad area and a test area, wherein the Pad area and the test area are positioned on the same side of the display area, and the test area is positioned on two sides of the Pad area. The front surface of the display area of the flexible substrate is provided with an OLED display device, a thin film transistor, a grid line, a data line and other structures; the Pad area is also provided with a plurality of signal lines (such as GOA wiring) electrically connected with the grid lines and the data lines in the display area, the front surface of the Pad area is provided with a plurality of connecting bonding pads, and each connecting bonding Pad is respectively connected with different signal lines; the test area is provided with test lines which are electrically connected with the signal lines in the Pad area and can be used for lighting test of the display substrate in the test stage.
After the test of the display substrate is completed, the test area of the flexible substrate can be removed through a laser cutting process, and the Pad area is bent to the back side of the flexible substrate, so that the width of the display frame is reduced. In the following embodiments, the flexible substrate (as shown in fig. 1) with the test area removed is taken as an example for illustration.
In the embodiment of the present invention, when bending the Pad area of the flexible substrate, the flexible substrate formed with structures such as signal lines is bent, that is, each structure located in the Pad area of the flexible substrate is also bent to the back side of the flexible substrate.
Example 1:
as shown in fig. 1 to 3, the present embodiment provides a display substrate, which includes a flexible substrate, and a fixing structure 2 disposed on a back surface of the flexible substrate, wherein a side of the fixing structure 2 facing away from the flexible substrate corresponding to the display area 1 has a concave portion; the recess is used to secure the Pad section 12 folded to the back side.
As shown in fig. 2, the fixing structure 2 is disposed at one end of the flexible substrate back side corresponding to the display area 1 near the Pad area 12. When the Pad area 12 of the flexible substrate is bent to the back side of the flexible substrate, the Pad area 12 can fall above the fixing structure 2, the fixing structure 2 can support the Pad area 12, the bending radius of the Pad area 12 is larger than the maximum bending radius of the flexible substrate, and the stability of the display substrate is improved.
Among the side surfaces of the flexible substrate, a part of the side surface corresponding to the Pad area 12 is a cut surface obtained after cutting the test area (i.e., an area in a dashed-line frame in fig. 1), and the side surface usually has an exposed signal line end, and usually has a plurality of signal line ends, and each signal line segment is insulated from each other. In the display substrate of the present embodiment, the side of the fixing structure 2 facing away from the display area 1 of the flexible substrate has a recess, and when the Pad area 12 is bent to the back side of the flexible substrate, the Pad area 12 falls into the recess, and at this time, the side with the exposed signal end is located in the recess. Therefore, in the display substrate of this embodiment, utilize the depressed part can separate naked signal section and external environment, reduce the volume of gathering of external steam at the cutting plane to avoid steam to connect the naked different signal line ends of cutting plane and cause the short circuit of different signal lines as far as possible, effectively improve because the demonstration that the short circuit of signal line end caused is bad.
Preferably, as shown in fig. 3, the fixing structure 2 comprises: the main part 21 and the restriction part 22, two restriction parts 22 are respectively located at two opposite sides of the main part 21, and two restriction parts 22 and the main part 21 restrict a concave part. The height (thickness) of the restriction portion 22 is larger than the height (thickness) of the main body portion 21, so that the recessed portion is restricted by the two restriction portions 22 and the main body portion 21 interposed therebetween to accommodate the Pad region 12 of the flexible substrate.
Two restricting portions 22 are provided on both sides in the width direction of the main body portion 21; the shape of the cross section of the regulating portion 22 includes a trapezoid in the width direction of the main body portion 21. As shown in fig. 3, the width direction (horizontal direction in fig. 3) of the main body portion 21 is parallel to the bending line direction of the flexible substrate. The two restricting portions 22 are respectively located on both sides of the main body portion 21 in the width direction and connected to the main body portion 21, and the two restricting portions 22 and the main body portion 21 restrict a groove extending in the length direction of the main body portion 21. The length of the fixing structure 2 (i.e., the length of the main body portion 21 and the limiting portion 22) may be set according to the extension length of the Pad region 12, so as to ensure that the Pad region 12 is located in the recess as much as possible.
Preferably, the cross-section of the restricting portion 22 includes a trapezoidal shape. Specifically, the shape of the cross section of the restriction portion 22 may be a right trapezoid. As shown in fig. 3, each limiting portion 22 has a vertical side corresponding to the straight waist of the right trapezoid, and an oblique side corresponding to the oblique waist of the right trapezoid, and the vertical side of the limiting portion 22 is closer to the main body portion 21 than the oblique side, so as to limit the groove with a rectangular cross section, so as to better adapt to the cross-sectional shape of the Pad area 12, so that the Pad area 12 is tightly attached to the recessed portion, and further ensure the blocking effect on the external water vapor. Meanwhile, the outer side of the fixing structure 2 is made to be a slope structure based on the limiting portion 22 on the oblique side surface, which is beneficial to the good adhesion of the fixing structure 2 and the structures such as the protective layer 3 arranged on the fixing structure.
It should be noted that the number of the limiting portions 22 in this embodiment is not limited to two, and the limiting portions 22 may be disposed on one side of the main body portion 21 away from the bending portion of the flexible substrate, and specific shapes and disposing manners may refer to the two limiting portions 22, which is not described herein again.
Preferably, the main body 21 and the restricting portion 22 are integrally formed. That is, the main body 21 and the limiting portion 22 may be formed of the same material at one time, so as to simplify the manufacturing process of the fixing structure 2 and improve the stability of the fixing structure 2.
In this embodiment, it can be understood that the higher the matching degree of the shape of the Pad area 12 and the shape of the concave portion is, the tighter the Pad area 12 and the concave portion are attached to each other, and the better the blocking effect on water vapor is. In practical situations, it is difficult to apply the Pad region 12 and the recess portion directly and tightly due to limited production conditions, processes, and the like. Therefore, the display substrate of the present embodiment preferably further includes a filling structure disposed in the recessed portion for filling a gap between the Pad region 12 bent to the back side and the recessed portion. Preferably, the material of the filling structure may comprise a photo-curable glue. Specifically, after the Pad area 12 is bent and placed in the recessed portion, the light-curing glue is coated in the recessed portion, so that the light-curing glue is filled in a gap between the Pad area 12 and the recessed portion, and is cured through a curing process, thereby ensuring the connection stability between the Pad area 12 and the fixed structure 2 and the isolation effect between the Pad area 12 and external water vapor.
Preferably, the display substrate of the present embodiment may further include structures such as a COF4 (chip on film), a protection layer 3, and a heat dissipation film 6. The protection layer 3 may be disposed on a side of the bent Pad region 12 and the fixing structure 2 away from the display region 1 of the flexible substrate, and specifically may be disposed on an outermost side of the display substrate, and covers the bent Pad region 12, the fixing structure 2, the COF4, and the like, so as to protect the display substrate.
Meanwhile, the display substrate may further include: and a glass cover plate 5 which can be provided on the front surface side of the display region 1 of the flexible substrate and protects the display device and other structures provided in the display region 1.
Example 2:
the present embodiment provides a display device including any one of the display substrates provided in embodiment 1.
The display device may be any product or component having a display function, such as a mobile phone, a tablet computer, a television, a monitor, a notebook computer, a digital photo frame, a navigator, and the like.
It will be understood that the above embodiments are merely exemplary embodiments taken to illustrate the principles of the present invention, which is not limited thereto. It will be apparent to those skilled in the art that various modifications and improvements can be made without departing from the spirit and substance of the invention, and these modifications and improvements are also considered to be within the scope of the invention.
