Abstract

The disclosure provides a method, a device and a system for managing slice migration, and relates to the field of mobile communication. The slice manager determines slices to be migrated, determines attributes of the slices to be migrated, and sends corresponding indication information to the affected user terminal according to the attributes of the slices to be migrated so that the user terminal can reselect the slices. If the slice to be migrated is only a slice-specific functional sub-slice, sending a session reestablishment request to the affected user terminal, so that the user terminal initiates a PDN session to reselect a slice-specific functional sub-slice used in the PDN session; if the slice to be migrated is not only the slice-specific function sub-slice, a re-registration request is sent to the affected user terminal, so that the user terminal can re-select the corresponding function network function sub-slice and the slice-specific function sub-slice through re-registration. Therefore, slice migration controlled by a network side can be realized, and the influence of the slice migration on a user is reduced while the system management efficiency is effectively improved.
